12/09/2026: A hearty, well-prepared, and beautifully presented lunch for the set menu—well done! Despite a mistake when taking our order—I had asked for an asparagus muffin, but I received a surf and turf salad instead…as did my husband, no big deal, it was delicious! I didn't dare mention it because it was very busy and there weren't many staff. We worked up quite an appetite, so it's a shame there was nothing to accompany it…prunes or some local hazelnuts would have been nice, especially since we discovered a regional aperitif, Floc de Gascogne (local). Apart from this minor point, we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend it!

04/09/2026: It was 1:30 PM. We arrived just as the meal service was winding down; almost all the tables hadn't been cleared, which perhaps indicated a staff shortage. We sat down to have a coffee and a beer for my husband at an uncleared table. The waiter, although he saw us, didn't seem in any hurry to clear the table or even ask what we wanted. At first, we waited patiently—perhaps he was overwhelmed? But since he was chatting calmly with other customers, we waited for over 20 minutes. Then, seeing that another waiter was preparing to serve four people, he quickly cleared a table. We concluded that no one was going to serve us and left without having ordered anything, very disappointed by the nonexistent service!

04/09/2026: The food is well prepared. The service is efficient and always courteous, but on busy days the wait might discourage some customers.

05/09/2026: Market day we had space for lunch, quick service, the dishes were good and hearty, the fries were really delicious.

29/08/2026: Delicious and unique meal in a beautiful setting! We tried the daily specials and they were absolutely lovely. Excellent service- a must visit if you are in Nerac :)

24/08/2026: The menu is absolutely impressive and the prices are extremely reasonable. It's a place where everyone can leave satisfied. The setting is ideal and very charming, especially the small terrace by the water. However, a little more effort could be made regarding the welcome, perhaps a smile, even though the waitress was very helpful.

13/09/2026: Not being able to throw a piece of paper in a yellow recycling bin... what a welcome! It makes you want to go there! My response: Sir, Thank you for your reply, which at least clarifies the circumstances. As a reminder, this was neither an attempt to "force" a bin, nor a desire to treat your establishment as a private dump. A woman in her seventies simply placed a piece of paper in a yellow recycling bin located on the public street, clearly believing it was for recycling. If, in your opinion, placing a piece of paper in a yellow recycling bin constitutes a sufficiently serious "offense" to justify such a vehement public intervention and response, everyone can judge for themselves the disproportion between the alleged act and the reaction it has provoked. My comment does not accuse you of any act that damages your honor or reputation. It simply expressed, in an ironic tone, an appreciation of the reception this person received. So, I'm going to raise the score for the cooking section: here, you seem to have managed to transform a simple drop of milk into actual cheese. What a talent! I'll leave it to you to reserve the term "defamation" for situations that truly meet the legal criteria. As for your invitation to an "adult discussion," I think the facts can perfectly well be presented without needing to label people or their intentions. You want to file a complaint: go ahead. By the way, walkers, if you ever feel like putting a piece of paper in a recycling bin, mine is open. Sincerely!

05/08/2026: We ordered two all-you-can-eat buffet and dessert menus, along with a half-bottle of rosé, and despite slightly slow service (due to the restaurant being busy), we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff were courteous and the communication was good. And as a nice touch, we were seated at the same table as before. We highly recommend it.

30/05/2026: A wine cellar full of surprises with a friendly and knowledgeable wine merchant. The atmosphere was fantastic. We have rarely tasted such a delicious Bellota ham. We will definitely return to Duras. Thank you for these wonderful moments.

19/07/2026: Very nice little hotel. The pool area was amazing and so was the whole stay. The food was good especially the starter and the apple cake and the cheese. Very nice and kind people here. The breakfast was extraordinary especially the superb baguette and croissants 🥐

17/04/2026: Pleasant location on the terrace. However, the value for money is not up to par for lunch. No daily menu, and the price is quite high for what you get on your plate (small portions and rather basic).

09/08/2026: Warm welcome, smiling and professional staff!! The starter buffet was very good (no hard-boiled eggs, unfortunately 😃), the meal was very tasty, and there was a wide selection of desserts!!! The establishment was clean and well-maintained!!! 👍
