29/10/2023: An excellent surprise... Very original dishes, based on the traditions of the Gers, made with the love of a job well done, it's so good... Very good interior decor, and if the weather is nice, a terrace on the banks of the Baïse, with a view of the Château de Nerac. I highly recommend this establishment

08/05/2024: Very disapointed! An all too familiar welcome from a very exuberant member of staff. I ordered a mixed salad, which included meat, but without meat. In fact, a mixed salad, a few salad leaves that are not fresh because they are brown in places, very little seasoning and therefore tasteless, 3 or 4 small croutons, and this for a price of €15 (it was worth €10 well paid) C is abused! We were a group of friends that evening, I didn't say anything so as not to make my friends uncomfortable! 3 people in the group were disappointed and found it expensive for what was served.

23/03/2024: We decided to have lunch at this well-rated establishment by Google during our visit to the region. No surprise, it’s really great. The daily menu is also available on Saturday for 20 euros. Choice between several dishes and 2 desserts. It's plentiful and very good. In addition my 2 cocker spaniels were welcome. We will come back without hesitation.

03/04/2024: Attracted by its reputation, we made reservations for lunch and ordered two menus. The service is very pleasant. On the other hand, the gizzard salad contained far too much vinaigrette, the duck breast was served like boiled meat in its sauce, the fries were bland and dry, the ice cream mediocre.
Another major disappointment: due to the acoustics, there is a permanent din in the room, which compromises any discussion - unless we shout in the ear of the person accompanying us.
A lot of money paid, therefore, and little pleasure!
01/04/2024: Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the service to the meal itself, very good dishes, for a more than fair price.

Simplicity and honest home cooking.
Correct dishes and normal quantity.
Cooking of red meat respected (hot blue) but without superficial crusting (shame for the taste). However good tenderness of the meat.
Friendly service.
Very good for a non-stiff meal in a bucolic setting.
2 aperitifs, 2 starters, 2 main courses, 2 desserts, 1 50 cl carafe of Bergerac, 2 coffees for €84.
Please note, only open in season.
06/10/2023: Passing through the region, (3 camper vans...), we found the restaurant on the internet.
The restaurant was said to be open but disappointment when we arrived, closed for the season...
It might be a good idea to update the site...
If we come back to the area, we will move on....
