15/04/2026: A warm welcome with parking available, which is a real plus in Rocamadour. The room is splendid with a view of the valley. The excellent breakfast allowed us to start the day perfectly.
The restaurant offers a varied menu, making it a place we'd return to again and again. From reception to the various staff members of the hotel and restaurant, we were always received with great professionalism and, above all, a warm smile.

08/06/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance one stormy evening.
The staff were friendly, but the service was incredibly slow… we ordered 5 minutes after being seated… and were served after 55 minutes.
The food was good, but not extraordinary. My fish wasn't cooked enough, but given how long we waited, I didn't ask for it to be sent back.
A bit pricey for what it is. Yes, it's filling, yes, the atmosphere is pleasant, a cozy cottage feel, yes, the dishes seem a bit gourmet, but don't go if you're in a hurry.
Very few vegetarian options.
€95 for 2 without drinks.

They tell us there aren't enough staff, yeah right, it's our fault, great.
05/04/2026: The place is nice, but the food is very greasy and of average quality. The fries were reheated, and the duck breast was definitely frozen (a shame for the region).
The prices are a bit high for the quality.

28/11/2025: Well placed, ordinary ex-pat run hotel. Nothing special. Just for sleeping. Would be better if the town was better.
18/11/2025: Weekend with my wife, at a hotel-restaurant I know very well from my business trips. We had a room on the first floor in the building before the main building. The room was simple but perfectly adequate. Comfortable bed, new bathroom, large balcony with a breathtaking view of the canyon. The breakfast was plentiful and very reasonably priced. The staff is always very welcoming and smiling, which is lovely! I'm a loyal customer of this 2-star hotel, which offers very reasonable prices considering its website. Never disappointed, I'll keep coming back. Please don't change a thing!

17/09/2025: Lunch at least in August, in the garden, very pleasant...in terms of taste, we are not in a three-star hotel, but it is good... waitress and waiter very pleasant, smiling, competent and available, despite the restaurant being full

Arrived at 11:55 a.m. we are on vacation so in no hurry but the restaurant is, we have to make money... quick reading of the menu, no time to choose the wine, order an aperitif and at 12:05 p.m. sharp the cassoulet arrives, certainly not home-cooked, really no desire for dessert, a coffee, the bill and hop outside at 12:30 p.m. to be quick it's quick especially when we have all the time in the world...

Dated room with peeling paint, peeling wallpaper, and decor in need of updating.
21/10/2025: No hot water, the cleaning leaves something to be desired and the breakfast at 12.50 euros is not great. The value for money is not there at all, I will not be back.

24/05/2026: Expensive for the quality of the food. The waitress was friendly, but unfortunately, the waiter had no sense of customer service. We found a fly in one of our dishes. We were refunded for it, but when we pointed out the problem, the waiter didn't seem to take it seriously.
21/05/2026: Frankly, very disappointing.
We ordered a piece of beef with pepper sauce and fries for €19, and it was far from worth the price. The pepper sauce was extremely runny and tasteless; it was practically water. As for the meat, the portion was tiny, barely the size of a child's steak, certainly less than 100g. For €19, that's clearly outrageous.
The dessert didn't redeem the rest: a chocolate fondant with crème anglaise and whipped cream, but again, it had no flavor. The crème anglaise was very runny and bland, and the whipped cream was equally tasteless.
The worst part was the bill: there was a set menu (main course + dessert) advertised for €25, but when it came time to pay, everything was charged separately. We had to point it out ourselves to get the set menu price applied. This is completely unacceptable.
On the other hand, the servers were completely blameless and remained pleasant and polite throughout the meal, so there's nothing to complain about regarding the service itself.
But overall, it's clearly a tourist trap in Rocamadour, with very poor value for money. I strongly advise against it.

08/11/2024: I recently visited Le Belvedere with my family and was very disappointed with the service. We arrived before our reservation time but were seated at a cramped table in the corner, even though other tables with better views were available. When we asked to move, we were told seating was first-come, first served, which didn’t make sense since we arrived first.
The maître didn’t speak English well and the staff member sent to assist us was unable to resolve the issue. The overall service was poor, and we left feeling frustrated and unhappy with our experience. We won’t be returning or recommending this restaurant to others.
01/11/2024: Attente un peu longue mais personnel agréable compréhensif. Rien d’exceptionnel mais On a plutôt bien mangé pour une brasserie .
