08/06/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance one stormy evening.
The staff were friendly, but the service was incredibly slow… we ordered 5 minutes after being seated… and were served after 55 minutes.
The food was good, but not extraordinary. My fish wasn't cooked enough, but given how long we waited, I didn't ask for it to be sent back.
A bit pricey for what it is. Yes, it's filling, yes, the atmosphere is pleasant, a cozy cottage feel, yes, the dishes seem a bit gourmet, but don't go if you're in a hurry.
Very few vegetarian options.
€95 for 2 without drinks.

15/04/2026: A warm welcome with parking available, which is a real plus in Rocamadour. The room is splendid with a view of the valley. The excellent breakfast allowed us to start the day perfectly.
The restaurant offers a varied menu, making it a place we'd return to again and again. From reception to the various staff members of the hotel and restaurant, we were always received with great professionalism and, above all, a warm smile.

They tell us there aren't enough staff, yeah right, it's our fault, great.
05/04/2026: The place is nice, but the food is very greasy and of average quality. The fries were reheated, and the duck breast was definitely frozen (a shame for the region).
The prices are a bit high for the quality.

11/08/2026: We had a lovely time as a family celebrating the end of our vacation. The view from the terrace was magnificent, especially watching the sunset. The food was very good, and the value for money was excellent. The staff were friendly.

We came for dessert as a family and were asked to come back 30 minutes later (we waited and asked again).
We returned after another thirty minutes and were simply told they were overwhelmed, there were no more free tables (even though six tables for four were empty), and they wouldn't have time to serve us dessert that evening.

07/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! We were passing through Rocamadour and stopped for dinner at this restaurant. The welcome, the galettes, the crêpes, the ice cream sundaes... everything was fantastic! Go there, you won't be disappointed!
07/08/2026: A very good experience at this crêperie. The vegetarian galettes were delicious, the service was quick, and the terrace overlooking a charming little square is lovely. 👍 The waitresses weren't unpleasant, but they could have been a touch warmer. 🫣 The sweet crêpes were good, but we think one of the two fillings was missing. The ice cream topping was generous, though. 😊

28/11/2025: Well placed, ordinary ex-pat run hotel. Nothing special. Just for sleeping. Would be better if the town was better.
18/11/2025: Weekend with my wife, at a hotel-restaurant I know very well from my business trips. We had a room on the first floor in the building before the main building. The room was simple but perfectly adequate. Comfortable bed, new bathroom, large balcony with a breathtaking view of the canyon. The breakfast was plentiful and very reasonably priced. The staff is always very welcoming and smiling, which is lovely! I'm a loyal customer of this 2-star hotel, which offers very reasonable prices considering its website. Never disappointed, I'll keep coming back. Please don't change a thing!

Receptionist friendly and helpful.
Good, large swimming pool with good quality towels provided.
A nice 30 minute uphill walk from the village.
29/06/2026: The staff is very welcoming, no complaints there. The hotel's location is also a real plus, close to the village, which is very convenient.
However, considering the price, I think it would be wise to offer a service that better meets expectations. The overall condition of the establishment gives the impression of a lack of maintenance. The pool wasn't clean, and the price of breakfast is, in my opinion, too high for what's offered.
It's a shame, because the hotel has an excellent location and could offer a much better experience with a few improvements.

18/07/2026: A quick stop for lunch at this restaurant, and a great experience.
The misted terrace with its magnificent view is particularly pleasant, especially in this intense heat.
We chose the local salad with Rocamadour cheese: simple, generous, and very good.
Admittedly, the prices are a bit high, but they are justified by the quality of the setting.
The staff was welcoming and friendly.
Thank you for this lovely time and meal.

10/08/2026: It is a very hot day and 3 PM, and we want to have a quick drink here. There are a few other people sitting on the terrace who are also having a drink.
The man wants to show us a table, but the French lady is very unfriendly and tells us that they are full and have no room. This is despite the fact that there is more than enough space. The man says again that we want a drink, and by God's grace, we are allowed to take a seat.
Praise to the man who helped us, but nothing but disappointment regarding the lady.
10/08/2026: The price and the quality of the food were inconsistent!
Disappointed, especially considering the location, which is otherwise fantastic... The fork was dirty, but it wasn't replaced with a clean one, and the glass was broken.

08/11/2024: I recently visited Le Belvedere with my family and was very disappointed with the service. We arrived before our reservation time but were seated at a cramped table in the corner, even though other tables with better views were available. When we asked to move, we were told seating was first-come, first served, which didn’t make sense since we arrived first.
The maître didn’t speak English well and the staff member sent to assist us was unable to resolve the issue. The overall service was poor, and we left feeling frustrated and unhappy with our experience. We won’t be returning or recommending this restaurant to others.
