20/05/2026: Don't be fooled by appearances: this place is definitely worth a visit! We had a wonderful meal from start to finish. The dishes are generous, authentic, and clearly homemade, featuring truly traditional Lorraine cuisine that's a real pleasure to rediscover. Special mention goes to the fries, which were excellent and perfectly crispy, as well as the very hearty and comforting stews. The homemade terrine was also delicious and perfectly in keeping with the restaurant's style. The atmosphere is friendly, relaxed, and family-oriented—exactly the kind of place you come to for a good meal and a pleasant, unpretentious experience. If you love traditional Lorraine cuisine, generous portions, and authentic restaurants: go for it without hesitation!

26/03/2026: I was excited to spend a night at the Hotel La Sirène during a business trip and enjoy its restaurant. I called several days in advance to make a reservation. Twice I spoke to a gentleman who told me he wasn't there and couldn't take my reservation. He assured me, however, that he had rooms available and that I could be accommodated. So, I arrived at the hotel on Thursday evening at 6:15 PM to find the doors locked and all the shutters closed. I called the hotel twice, but there was no answer. I had to drive an extra 35 km to find another hotel. You won't get my money. Appalling service.

26/05/2026: Greeted by a charming lady and her cook, the salad was very generous and plentiful. Lovely and very welcoming ladies – definitely worth a visit when you go to this place.

21/05/2026: We had a wonderful stay while on a business trip. Comfortable, peaceful, and with a very good restaurant. The owner gave us a personalized welcome, and the setting is beautiful for an evening stroll after work. I highly recommend it!

12/03/2026: I'm just passing through from time to time... nothing's working anymore, it's a complete circus! The music at the bar is so loud you can't hear yourself think... it's like being at a rave or in some run-down, old bistro run by snobs who have absolutely no respect for their customers, forcing them to endure their outdated taste in music. To top it all off, the red-haired waitress, proud of the atmosphere, who's probably paid to do nothing, is completely out of it... a semblance of friendliness, then she demands a tip... is that some kind of extortion? Besides, having watched her, I'm not sure it all ends up in the till! The others are running around, and thank goodness they're there, give them a bonus for running in her place... everything's going to hell in there, it's not what it used to be! Otherwise, the food is pretty good, the toilets are clean, and the young woman who works mornings is really nice and hardworking; plus, she also does the cleaning, and it's spotless.

13/04/2026: I was a little taken aback by some of the comments; it's not a Michelin-starred restaurant, but it's very, very good. My daily special was very tasty. For the price, there's nothing to complain about (daily special, dessert, and a bottled regional beer for €24). The waitress was very friendly, which was a nice bonus.

03/03/2026: I arrived at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, March 3rd. I waited for 30 minutes after ringing the bell and calling numerous times, but nothing. So, if like me you're making a detour to discover this place, be wary.
