17/08/2025: Hotel with plenty of rooms. Wheelchair accessible. To access the hotel outside of opening hours, you need a code to open the gate, then another code to open a box containing the code to enter your room. Anyone who's intimidated by codes, think twice.

03/01/2026: We took advantage of the New Year's break to finally visit this castle, which we had wanted to see for some time. Overall, honestly, this four-star establishment offers excellent value for money: a pleasant room for two at €130, a generous and delicious set menu prepared by a Master Chef for €195, and a satisfactory breakfast at €18. It's a beautiful, very well-maintained residence. The service was professional and courteous, especially from the head waiter. Our disappointments stemmed from two things: firstly, the welcome, which lacked warmth, smiles, and enthusiasm. Secondly, in our room, number 6, we were very inconvenienced by the two single beds instead of a double bed, which kept shifting apart with every movement throughout the night; two very thin pillows, so we had to ask for two more (coincidentally, of better quality); and a duvet without a cover, which isn't very hygienic! In short, a bit stingy with many products and services; the place is also only moderately heated. It was freezing! Finally, this castle is ideal for a regular stay because for New Year's Eve it was very quiet and subdued, no DJ or entertainment, and no atmosphere whatsoever; you could barely hear the soft music in the distance! It's much more enjoyable to stay there when the weather is nice and warm!

07/12/2024: Chilled with cold and wet to the skin, after attending the ceremony on November 11 in a cold rain, around 1:00 p.m., I pushed open the door of this establishment, with the words Brasserie and Café written on the front. , thinking of finding a little warmth and having a drink at the counter with its beautiful range of beers on tap. I didn't have time to take off my soaked jacket, as I was told that for a drink, it's outside. Outdoor terrace at 8°c...!, certainly under a small awning. I can understand, when there are people, not to go into detail. But a bit of hospitality never killed anyone, knowing that I was content with a standing place, even in a corner, but in a warm place. Distressing!!!

30/01/2026: Disappointed with the shallot topping... the meat was good but dry, no sauce, just sliced ​​shallots, €18.60... the tartiflette was a single portion, enough for a sick person, the cheese wasn't melted or browned, no cream, extremely dry... to pay so much (€17.50), we wanted to try again because the first time wasn't great, but never three times... The welcome and service were top-notch.

29/01/2026: I came with some friends two weeks ago, and the three of us ordered food (we spent at least twenty euros). After about 30 minutes, one of the women who works there (in her thirties or forties with brown hair) practically threw us out because we dared to take out a drink that wasn't from that chain. I should mention that we had already spent over €20 just before. We had to leave, and the waitress spoke to us like a fishwife, making snide remarks, giving us dirty looks, and speaking in a very unpleasant tone, saying, "Just in case, the bin is over there," as if I wasn't planning on throwing away my trash. As we were leaving, we at least had the courtesy to say goodbye, even though we'd just been kicked out, and of course, there was no response, just a cold stare. Simply saying, "Could you put your drinks away? You're only supposed to consume what you buy here," would have been enough, and we wouldn't have had to leave. This isn't the first time I've encountered unpleasant staff; they never seem to smile. (P.S.: We might have been able to pay for drinks if the prices had been lower)...

Be careful, you must only eat from 12 p.m. onwards... like a talking clock, the owner, who plays nice but is clearly just showing off (the proof is here, no concessions) will only open right on time... As for meals, yes, there's something on the plate, but don't expect to travel. Grandma Maïté had the same concept years ago... A weekly suggestion every two months? 🤨 A special concept of time... Summer vacations not advertised just on their website... thank you for being polite and making the trip... Oh, and then the super positive reviews of suppliers on Google, let's talk about them? Of course they're positive since they live thanks to you! As for the owner's response, it perfectly shows your temperament...and even before he wrote "kisses"...

28/11/2024: Passing through Marville where we stayed at the inn in the new annex clean room impeccable service unlimited breakfast even for the pickiest eaters 😍

03/11/2024: We had dinner at the Marville inn on November 1 and had breakfast but we slept in a village house. The meal was excellent with fresh local produce, cabbage soup, homemade pâté en croute, guinea fowl with mushrooms. The welcome was also excellent and the owner even served a customer who arrived around 2 p.m. The breakfast was also excellent with everything you need in the morning, good bread, croissants, ham, cheese, fruit juice... We are delighted (there were three of us including a child) to have all enjoyed ourselves.

02/09/2025: It is unacceptable that a waitress should be left alone to manage the entire service, with only one cook in the kitchen. We feel that they are doing their best despite the lack of staff, and I sincerely thank the waitress for her sympathy and warm welcome. On the other hand, the organization clearly needs to be reviewed to ensure a better experience for both customers and staff.

Our arrival was magical in this beautiful place, already adorned with lovely Christmas decorations on the village street, which was bathed in a light mist. Then, everything was perfect. The service was friendly and attentive, with smiles and thoughtful touches; the food was of very high quality, and the dessert crêpes were some of a truly unique creation. Finally, there was a great atmosphere and wonderful company. A lovely evening! As I said to the owner in the kitchen, "Keep up the good work!" Looking forward to returning.
