15/05/2026: An excellent meal shared with my wife at this restaurant, which combines quality, quantity, and a warm welcome. It is undoubtedly one of the best in the southern Meuse region. As an added bonus, the smiles and helpful advice of the staff truly do credit to French cuisine. We highly recommend it.

No WiFi
We did have a lot of horse fly and some the size of hornets, but they left us alone so we left them alone. Although the big ones made us nervous! 🤣
25/05/2026: A great stay in our campervan; the campsite is quiet and relaxing, and the facilities are clean.
The setting is truly beautiful, perfect for disconnecting in the heart of the forest. We'll definitely come back if the opportunity arises.

15/08/2026: Passing through on vacation, we stopped at this restaurant steeped in history.
And it was wonderful, a delicious meal, and the owners were incredibly attentive.
They used locally sourced meats; I highly recommend it!

03/09/2026: Excellent restaurant. The setting is lovely, the food is good, and the prices are very reasonable. The restrooms are clean and easily accessible.
The terrace is very pleasant in the summer for enjoying a coffee or a good beer. I recommend this restaurant for a pleasant time.

We waited an hour and a half for a meal that was nothing special, and to top it off, the waitress was incompetent (refused to serve our order multiple times). The waitress was quite unpleasant; I really don't recommend it.

28/09/2026: Good, but I would have preferred a fresh minced steak because it's cooked to perfection and it's not as good, and bacon instead of ham.
23/08/2026: I paid a lot for barely eating, just a taste... My boyfriend ate his burger because he'd messed up, but my daughter and I only had some fries... I had to return it... And it really wasn't good... Way too expensive for what it was!!

The servers are also very helpful, friendly, and pleasant.
One last little tidbit: the madeleine from Commercy is still better than the one from Stenay… 😄😂

28/07/2026: The food was okay; it was filling, but nothing more than that.
It's basically a slightly better chip shop.
Almost €40 for a salad with cheese, a cheddar burger, two small fries, and a bottle of still water seems quite steep for the area.
Despite the language barrier, the service was very attentive and friendly.
Everything seemed to be in good order.
03/07/2026: What a wonderful discovery this little restaurant was on our holiday route! Kudos for your kindness, the food was delicious and flavorful, and the decor was fantastic. I highly recommend it. We'll be back if the opening hours work for us.
