25/06/2025: When you arrive at the place, although there is a menu and other options, you are directly offered the starter-main course-dessert option for €19. You therefore have to insist to have the menu, and the waitress advises you not to choose from the menu because it would take too much time. You are also not offered to choose which side you want with your dish. Rice is automatically served with the fish, when in reality, you can ask for vegetables or fries. The pollock was cooked separately, in water apparently, and is served with a sauce that is very similar to industrial sauces. The portions are too small. The dessert (pastry) is served half-frozen. In short, it doesn't add up.
18/06/2025: I have dined at this restaurant several times already, and very recently before June 6th. Very warm welcome, excellent Vosges salad, but a little less generous than the previous time. As for the person who accompanied me, a sirloin steak because no more ribeye steak but then a very nice piece of meat less expensive than the ribeye steak and just as delicious, if not more so. On the other hand, my portion of fries is really not substantial, too bad. But we will return.

Possibility of eating also, with extended hours, simple dishes and desserts. The shop also offers tea, chocolate, nougat and other delicacies as well as cups or accessories. A safe bet in Bar-le-Duc

28/11/2024: Passing through Marville where we stayed at the inn in the new annex clean room impeccable service unlimited breakfast even for the pickiest eaters 😍
03/11/2024: We had dinner at the Marville inn on November 1 and had breakfast but we slept in a village house. The meal was excellent with fresh local produce, cabbage soup, homemade pâté en croute, guinea fowl with mushrooms. The welcome was also excellent and the owner even served a customer who arrived around 2 p.m. The breakfast was also excellent with everything you need in the morning, good bread, croissants, ham, cheese, fruit juice... We are delighted (there were three of us including a child) to have all enjoyed ourselves.

The service is super fast, the dish is well loaded, balanced, the meat cooked to perfection and the fries hot and crispy.
The price is very fair
07/12/2024: Chilled with cold and wet to the skin, after attending the ceremony on November 11 in a cold rain, around 1:00 p.m., I pushed open the door of this establishment, with the words Brasserie and Café written on the front. , thinking of finding a little warmth and having a drink at the counter with its beautiful range of beers on tap.
I didn't have time to take off my soaked jacket, as I was told that for a drink, it's outside. Outdoor terrace at 8°c...!, certainly under a small awning.
I can understand, when there are people, not to go into detail.
But a bit of hospitality never killed anyone, knowing that I was content with a standing place, even in a corner, but in a warm place.
Distressing!!!

02/09/2024: Stopped for a coffee break, sitting and waiting at the terrace for someone to take our order (other people waited as well), no one showed up...went inside, got told something like "service only inside the air conditioned area", ok goodbye...the tank station opposite has a coffee machine doing its duty without any hesitation...
30/08/2024: I really enjoyed the meal with varied and delicious menus, super friendly staff. Very clean showers, like the restaurant. Small downside, the parking lot, holes in formation, be careful at the entrance. A person will guide you at 5 p.m.

06/12/2024: Endroit acceuillant mais froid, avons gardé nos manteaux car pas de chauffage, très désagréable. En plus le plat choucroute à la moutarde tiède pour ne pas dire froid. Dommage, je ne reviendrai pas.

Menu Entrée plat le week-end le vendredi c’est rare.
Pâté en croûte = très bon
Entrecôte = pas très tendre
Légumes = bien mais un accompagnement frites pourrait être proposé ou haricots
Serveurs très bien à l’écoute et sympathiques
Prix très corrects
Mais on s attendait à une prestation culinaire un peu hors normes ?

22/09/2024: Repas plats et dessert à midi un dimanche,la commande est vite prise,boissons et plats .l établissement n. est pas remplis,le plat fini ,on a attendu plus de 30 mins pour commander le dessert,le serveur est invisible ,il devrait changer de métier ,le patron a t il changer c était très correct pour un anniversaire il y a deux ans,après 30 mins d attente,perso je me suis passé du dessert,pour durer ,il va falloir peut être se remettre en question.Dommage car le repas est correct mais bon si c est pour passer 3 h avec un repas complet entrée plat dessert café ,je laisse ma place.
05/09/2024: Bon de pire en pire, c'est la dernière fois, on t'amènes les patates même pas cuites, presque crues, on t'amènes les apéro, et après tu attends, tu attends, donc tu fais impasse sur le dessert...

08/09/2024: I am with my girlfriend at this (bar / restaurant) in parentheses I ordered 2 cocktails because this (bar / restaurant) looked good but very quickly we were disappointed, the cocktails we had were unfortunately atrocious I I paid 12€ for this, as for the food the customers were served and it's very unappetizing, for the atmosphere the customers are angry, I can afford it, and given the service I understand the customers who make this face. I strongly advise against it!

09/07/2025: I didn't want to be unkind last year when we were given supermarket-bought meals because they weren't delivered (we had booked in the morning, we could have been warned). This time, the burger was made with frozen supermarket-bought ground beef, as well as the Bolognese sauce for the spaghetti.
That's ridiculous. Not to mention that the menu didn't have any salads except the basic house salad (lettuce, grated carrots, cucumbers, beetroot).
You need to change the menu if you don't know how to cook fresh food.

deplorable welcome we arrive with three people it is 1 p.m. we ask if it is possible to have a coffee.. madam the service is full.... even though there is absolutely no one on the terrace!!! we are a restaurant! we answer! Oh good ! Isn’t a restaurant supposed to serve coffee!!!????
it must be really complicated to start the machine and take a few more steps to serve!! no it will be from 3 p.m.!! what business sense do you have in madine??!!! don't complain if people desert these beautiful places because we are not ready to return there even to eat!! no effort at all! no communication, no kindness! no commercial sense! Maybe you need to wake up!!! This hasn't changed much for years! it's a shame because there would be plenty to do and satisfy people!! if you delete this review it doesn't matter if you've read it!!! It's still funny, I have to tick a star for it to appear in the publication even though it deserves zero! I'm not venting, be aware, I wanted to publish this discontent!!
