26/09/2024: DAMAGE... We regularly go to the Villa Motel in Stenay, because it is an excellent little restaurant with reasonable prices. When we are lucky enough to be there during the week, we don't miss going there, because it's really good. However, this evening we ordered two Irish Coffees. The waitress told us she didn't know how to make them, but she would try. Result: they were really failed. We're not usually the type to complain, but I reported it to the boss, who is usually very accommodating. This time, he insisted, saying that the ingredients were there and that if he made them again, it would be the same... We almost came across as liars. In the end, we didn't drink them, but we paid them. She also confirmed to me that she had prepared them herself, apologizing for the color. That said, I find it unfortunate that you are defending yourself without really taking the customer's experience into account. It's not just about ingredients or quantity, but also preparation and balance of flavors. Unfortunately, the result was not up to what we expect from an Irish Coffee. It is regrettable that our feelings were not taken into account, especially since we were regular customers. Anyway, we wish you good luck.

15/09/2024: Heatwave period in France...more than 40 degrees predicted and dish of the day/week/fortnight (well yes because in this restaurant the suggestion of the week lasts 15 days): bruschetta bacon cheese potatoes mushrooms. ... really suited to the season 😂😂😂😂 My response following the owner's comment: do we know each other that well to allow you to speak to me informally? Are we friends? We seem to be such friends that you (well yes, as long as the familiarity is reciprocal) allow yourself to insult me ​​by calling me a eunuch...nice mentality in any case....

21/08/2024: I was walking around on my motorbike, I stopped for a coffee... I met a boss who is in a good mood, who loves life. I stayed there for lunch and was really pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the dishes. I can only recommend the flank steak which was prepared with great attention! Well done to you both!!! I'll be back with a friend next week!!! Lionel

05/09/2024: Prima eten, goede gastvrije bediening, ruime porties en vooral erg lekker. We zijn er meermaals geweest afgelopen jaren en het was altijd goed tot zeer goed. Geen complex concept: goede kaas levert lekker eten.

24/07/2024: Pas un gastro mais ce n’est pas ce que je recherchais et franchement très bien pour une étape rapide, « petite » salade vraiment pas petite et tarte aux mirabelles très bonne ! Service rapide et sympa, ce qui ne gâche rien !

01/10/2024: Takeover of the La Fontaine restaurant by a young, friendly couple who lack experience. Laborious start with very slow service... Overall, the meal is quite good, even if some vegetables are undercooked. The restaurant is quite expensive. A few small errors which will certainly be rectified later. But for our part, we will move on. I still wish you good luck.

30/09/2024: Traditional and Chilean cuisine concocted by a young Chilean chef and served by his charming wife, restaurant opened only a few days ago. Simple cuisine, very well prepared, fresh produce. We will be happy to come back.

27/07/2024: Beautiful and quiet location, fantastic garden. Sleep with the window open if you like birds, especially to hear the kingfisher under your breath. Excellent room with all amenities (air conditioning, electric bed, kettle) and clean. Breakfast was also fine.
