09/12/2025: This review has nothing to do with the location or the food, just basic courtesy. I came to the aid of a young woman sitting on a bench in front of the train station who was being harassed by a homeless man. After this traumatic experience, the young woman was clearly terrified and panicked! She had to wait another 30 minutes in front of the station for someone to pick her up (I offered to walk her home, but she preferred to wait). So, I offered to buy her a drink of her choice at this establishment so she would be safe! Without knowing the situation and without wanting to expose it further to the public eye, I politely asked the person behind the bar, a small woman with short hair, for a Coke. She explicitly replied, "I'm not taking any more drink orders; I'm going to start my shift." So I explained what I just told you, and she said, "She should stay there; I'm going to call the police." At no point did I ask for that; at no point did I want to make a public scene and embarrass the young woman even more than she already was. So I told her, "No, I just asked for a Coke, and I'd like her to stay there for 30 minutes!" The woman served me the Coke with a disillusioned air and said, "Well, she can sit there," still with the same contemptuous look! I have a question for you, madam: if it had been your granddaughter, would you have reacted the same way? Even better, if it had been you, you would have appreciated my approach, wouldn't you?! So never forget, especially in 2025, that women today face daily, or at least frequent, harassment, particularly near train stations! So when you're asked to be human, be human! It's not too late to make good resolutions for 2026! We can all change and grow! Take care of yourselves, and I wish you happy holidays despite everything! 🙏

14/09/2024: Ce n'est pas la première fois que nous allons dîné à la brasserie bleue ... Nous y apprécions l'accueil le service et la cuisine ... Et ce soir encore nous n'avons pas été déçus... Le service est très agréable, décontracté mais très professionnel. On est à nos petits soins avec gentillesse et bienveillance. Ce qui devient de plus en plus rare. Nous avons eu la chance en plus de bavarder avec la directrice du restaurant qui est très souriante et sympathique . Nous avons passé une très belle soirée Merci à toute l'équipe

29/09/2024: Frankly a very disappointed with the welcome, the server much too dry and not at all customer friendly. To see again. And the à la carte prices don't change so we end up paying more. This outlaw. Quick breakfast. VERY VERY VERY UNPLEASANT SERVER

25/09/2024: We had lunch last Thursday in this brasserie. The dishes are good, the price is right and the location facing the port is superb. The only downside is the waiter (a tall, very bald one). He doesn't say hello, he doesn't respond hello when you say hello and above all he's not friendly (seems there out of obligation....). We met other customers next to us who confirmed our impression. Too bad we won't go back...

29/09/2024: Très mauvaise expérience dans ce restaurant. Accueillis par une serveuse très gentille qui nous conduit à notre table à l’étage, nous sommes ensuite pris en charge par une collègue beaucoup plus froide. Elle nous pose la carte des suggestions sans aucune explication. Nous avons commandé un burger au saumon et un magret de canard : le burger était tout plat, très peu généreux (les tranches d’avocat étaient très fines et peu nombreuses, idem pour le saumon), la sauce tartare gélatineuse servie dans un petit récipient en plastique et le bon de commande était resté dans mon assiette, à demi caché par les frites toutes molles. Le tout accompagné d’un mélange de salade pas fraîche en avec une tomate cerise solitaire, pas foufou. Le magret était quant à lui plutôt bon, mais avec un accompagnement/sauce aussi peu qualitatif. Au moment de régler l’addition, le burger annoncé 14€ sur l’ardoise des suggestions est vendu 18,50€ (comme annoncé sur la carte standard). Ce n’est pas très grave, mais mal indiqué sur l’ardoise. Pour couronner le tout, j’ai été malade 2 heures après être sortie du restaurant en ayant rien ingéré entre temps. Bref, nous ne sommes pas très difficiles en temps normal et ne faisons jamais de commentaire négatif sur les restaurants, mais là il me semble que c’est important de laisser un avis de notre mauvaise expérience.

26/09/2024: I loved the place, the atmosphere, the cuisine. A huge thank you to the waitress who thought it appropriate to place a candle on our table. A special touch of romanticism, which, without her knowing it, lit up our anniversary weekend.

23/09/2024: A discovery after the Auray Vannes, taking an order with a waiter who was a little dry despite a prior reservation for a table of 8, two other people serving rather helpful and pleasant, but when the bill came, a certain annoyance about paying our respective shares. We will not come back and if you do not like this job, Mr. Change! Customers pay for a meal about which we had nothing to say (well done, the kitchen) but also for a service. Damage

11/11/2025: Basic room but very comfortable bed - Hearty breakfast and really attentive staff. As I was the last customer for breakfast, they offered me some extra pastries to take to work, which I greatly appreciated.

09/11/2025: We were very well received upon arrival in the evening, by a welcoming and smiling person, but were very disappointed the next morning, particularly at breakfast. Not by the young woman at reception, but by her colleague, to whom we politely asked if there were scrambled eggs for breakfast. Without a smile, she replied that there weren't. This person then went to the dining room to eat her own breakfast. She occasionally went to replenish the breakfast buffet, again without a smile. Our room was due to be vacated at 11:00 AM, and to my surprise, she knocked on the door and entered, thinking I had left. Without apologizing, she simply said, "Well, as soon as you're gone, leave the door open." I will not be returning to this hotel, especially since I am a loyal Campanile customer. My last experience was at the Laval location, where the service was excellent and the welcome very warm. In the business world, I know that hospitality and customer service are very important to clients.
