05/09/2026: Review left after several visits! Still as good as ever! Different flavors, top-notch service. We tried it for lunch first, a success! It's even better in the evening.

05/09/2026: We particularly enjoyed the "Blue Lobster Menu" dinner on August 29, 2026. Indeed, beyond the various preparations of lobster in all its forms, this menu was exquisitely refined, combining flavor and originality with subtlety. Using Breton lobster was a real challenge, and the chef succeeded once again. The entire experience took place in a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with excellent wine recommendations. Thank you to the whole team.

18/07/2026: Last week we discovered La Tête en l’air. It’s a beautiful establishment where the very name of the restaurant evokes a feeling of complete relaxation. It was an excellent culinary discovery. All the senses are awakened. The dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious. The pace of the tasting is perfect, and we didn't notice the time passing. Thank you to the chef, the cooks/pastry chefs, the service staff… for this wonderful discovery, for your attentiveness, and for your discretion. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment ;)

28/08/2026: Excellent refined cuisine, fresh produce, very pleasant calm atmosphere, with tables on the terrace.

21/08/2026: A small bistro I stumbled upon during a stroll through the historic center of Vannes. Simple yet beautifully presented dishes, mostly vegetarian. Emphasis on organic and PGI products, excellent whole-grain bread. Everything was very good and fresh. The zucchini quiche was special, as were the side salads topped with seeds and a honey vinaigrette.

17/08/2026: Excellent establishment; we eat there every time we come to Vannes. Never disappointed, refined cuisine. Friendly staff.

15/08/2026: We returned after an excellent first experience last year and were a little disappointed. The welcome was less warm, perhaps due to our 1:30 pm reservation. Speaking of which, avoid that time! If you want an aperitif, you'll have to be quick and place your order rapidly because the kitchen closes at 2 pm. Similarly, you'll need to rush your coffee and bill because the restaurant closes in 10 minutes. A bit rushed for a family lunch! In this case, perhaps it would be better to stop taking reservations earlier so that customers can enjoy their lunch in peace. The waitress was discreet but efficient! A carafe of water was brought spontaneously, which was lovely in the heat.

10/09/2026: The team is very friendly and welcoming. The dishes offered are varied and delicious from appetizer to dessert; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had a lovely evening.

29/07/2026: Restaurant with a very pleasant terrace. We ordered John Dory, two half-lobsters, and a ribeye steak. The ribeye was exceptionally thin; we were surprised given the price. The lobster was a bit too dry. The John Dory, however, was very good, as were all the side dishes. The service, on the other hand, wasn't very pleasant. We had to ask for water three times, and the table was dirty. This place could still improve ☺️

28/07/2026: Very nice location right in the city center. Prompt service and good value for money. The oysters and scallops are highly recommended.

07/09/2026: A wonderful discovery in Vannes. We had a truly divine meal at La Source. Market-driven cuisine that truly puts the ingredients at the heart of the dish: fresh produce, expertly prepared, elegantly presented, and perfectly executed cooking. For starters, the foie gras was remarkable, as were the langoustines, delicate and flavorful. But the real surprise of dinner was undoubtedly the seared octopus. It was cooked to absolute perfection: slightly crispy and charred on the outside, incredibly tender and meltingly soft inside. This mastery deserves to be highlighted, as it's rare to find octopus with such a perfect texture. The meagre was also excellent: delicately flavored, delicious, and cooked precisely to perfectly respect the fish's delicate nature. The same level of indulgence was found in the dessert, with a very good chocolate fondant and honey-roasted apricots, bursting with flavor and perfectly balanced to end the meal. We paired our dinner with an excellent bottle of Pouilly-Fumé, which complemented the fresh and precise cuisine perfectly. Beyond the quality of the ingredients, what stood out was the masterful cooking, the perfect seasoning, and the meticulous presentation. The food was generous without being heavy, refined without being pretentious. Kudos to Vincent, the owner and chef of this establishment, and to his entire team for impeccable service! A truly wonderful restaurant in Vannes, which I wholeheartedly recommend.

14/08/2026: On Friday, August 14th, we enjoyed a delicious meal. The appetizers were incredibly fragrant and flavorful, as was the main course. Kudos to the chef and his assistant! The welcome was exceptionally warm!

04/08/2026: A superb experience at Empreinte, which opens its doors to us and allows us to enjoy very fine cuisine and a natural and smiling service that perfectly matches the atmosphere of the place.

A cozy restaurant, perfect service, super friendly staff, and exceptional food. It's traditional, superbly cooked (homemade), kudos to the chef! We had a lovely time. I highly recommend it.

06/09/2026: Fantastic experience! Very pleasant and competent staff. Delicious meal from start to finish. We had scallops as a starter, followed by lobster, and then a ribeye steak. All of it melted in your mouth. Thank you to the chef! One small drawback: the dining room wasn't air-conditioned, but perhaps that's planned for the future.
