22/09/2024: We had a lovely dinner. Two menus. Oysters and beef tartare were good and the creme brûlée was amazing. Lamb curry was also really good and the lava cake just delicious. Service was very good and friendly. Highly recommend. We went there around 19:00 and enjoyed that the Restaurant was still very empty.

21/09/2024: For a birthday, a table of 6 people costs more than 600th. The waitress spills half the dessert on one of the people. Apologies accepted, an error happens but no apology or commercial gesture from management. Stained designer shirt, pants and hair soaked in crepe Suzette sauce. Not even the dessert offered. Good meal but without much research. In short, we will never come back.

09/09/2024: What can I say, it's been a long time since I've been to a restaurant like this. EVERYTHING IS PERFECT, including the service, the dishes and the welcome. A pleasure that I will happily share next time when I return to Metz

21/09/2024: Update after 5 years: I am lowering my rating to 4 stars. Prices have increased, accompanied by a reduction in portions in pastries. Otherwise: Excellent pastry from Metz, an institution. Lots of people in store each time but the products remain excellent and true to their reputation.

19/09/2024: We turn a blind eye to certain salons in Metz but we forget that for quality service this is where it happens. And it's always delicious.

31/07/2024: Initially I wanted to go to a bakery that I won’t mention but no pastries on sale… So I went to the Soudout bakery. And I was not disappointed! Very nice seller, very friendly atmosphere and very good pastries.

05/09/2024: The home for young workers or fjt helped us quickly find a temporary housing solution for a young person starting out in professional life. We were well supported in the process of accessing accommodation quickly and efficiently, the reception structure is quite complete with catering, a permanent guard, maintenance management and parking with a barrier. Concerning the negative points, there is the obligation to charge breakfast even if never taken, the rooms need a good renovation for the frames and especially the electricity, without forgetting the smell of smoking in the establishment . I still keep the positive, speed, very short notice of departure, availability and sympathy of those in charge, the residents do not feel alone 👍

13/07/2024: In restaurants in France, the price of drinking water is included in the meal bill, in accordance with the note from the General Directorate for Fraud Repression. Just like the dishes, cutlery or bread, the carafe of water is included in your meal. This consideration is stipulated in decree no. 25-268 of June 8, 1967. Thus, a restaurateur is required to offer a carafe of water free of charge once an order has been placed. Asking to pay for water is illegal. In addition, since the AGEC law, catering establishments and drinking establishments are required to visibly indicate on their menu or on a display space the possibility for consumers to request free drinking water. Establishments must provide their customers with access to fresh or temperate drinking water, suitable for drinking purposes. Making your customers (mostly foreign) believe that French water must be “micro-filtered” is dishonest and does not contribute to the reduction of plastic waste.

07/09/2024: I'm pretty nice but this was really making fun of the world... You book but you still wait… in short we are finally seated after 15 minutes of waiting… then we waited for the cards and waited for the cards for almost 40 minutes…. It is almost 10 p.m. from the restaurant we call the beef plate next to where I am writing this review. There we sat, received our cards and waited for our dishes with great service. I'm going to give them 5 stars straight away. Continue to not give a damn about the customers…. Sooner or later they will give it back to you. Little wink to the waitress with curly hair and her lip piercing who didn't care about the year 40 and an incompetence rarely achieved in the restaurant business. Looking forward to not seeing you anymore.

30/08/2024: Mixed reception and what a shame that the dough is a ready-made dough! It looked like frozen...Nothing to do with traditional flames with good crispy dough. We had a hard time digesting it...

01/08/2024: It seems to me that the restaurant is on its way out. Old-fashioned interior design, but no less charming. However, it was a bit sad on the terrace in the evening. Only a few tables set up which is not inviting. Quality of the food is somewhat disappointing. Dessert was tasty. However, it has great potential in terms of location. (river, park opposite) View from the terrace is now largely obstructed by heavy wooden construction. Was fashionable 20 years ago... not anymore. With the right adjustment to today's expectations, think this has great potential. As it is now I don't recommend it.

08/08/2024: Honestly, very disappointed... The lobster served with pasta without presentation on the plate, the holy stone served with a few thin blades of vegetables without any other accompaniment and to finish a frozen nougat that is far too sweet. What a big disappointment! And the service is very disappointing... I had visited this restaurant 18 years ago and it was much better. Restaurant not at all at the level of prices applied.
