20/06/2026: Excellent restaurant near Metz city center! We've had the pleasure of eating there several times and have never been disappointed. The menu, which changes seasonally, always features fresh, homemade ingredients. Furthermore, they were perfectly able to adapt the menu to my pregnancy restrictions.

17/08/2026: Fantastic! We both had the dinner for €36. For starters, we had the foie gras pâté (an extra €5) and the truly delicious tomato caramelized tomato. For our main courses, we had the guinea fowl breast with cider sauce and the boneless pork knuckle. For dessert, we had a cheese platter and a duet of mirabelle plums. Everything was delicious; we'll be regulars!

07/08/2026: I'm from Metz, and this restaurant is a tourist trap. Following our visit on August 7, 2026, I'm writing about this unpleasant experience. My partner and I each ordered beef skewers. My partner wanted a side dish, and we were charged extra without being informed. Some of the skewers were cold; they were clearly pre-cooked and then reheated (how?). My dietary restrictions prevented me from choosing from the side dishes offered. Knowing they offered "saffron rice," I asked if it was possible to have white rice, but this request seemed too complicated. Where was the chef? I was served a dish without a proper side dish, which was still charged to me at €17. When the bill arrived, we spoke with the waiter, who was quite dismissive. Apparently, we weren't acting in good faith. He even implied that we were liars because "you say whatever you want." A hefty €42 bill for a meal that left us hungry. If you respect the work of real restaurateurs, please don't stop there. Sincerely, Florent

17/09/2026: A disastrous experience. The dish was completely tasteless (a kind of risotto), lacking salt and flavor, with a few vague bits of leek and a hint of ham, all in insufficient quantity. I thought I'd settle for dessert: a tarte tatin. I didn't find any of the deliciousness one would expect from this type of dessert. The caramel was clearly store-bought and not the kind made from sugar melting in the oven. The pastry was soggy, and the plate was covered in a garish red fruit coulis (I'm trying to figure out what that has to do with a tarte tatin!). Is there even a chef in this kitchen? This restaurant is one to avoid.

11/07/2026: Amazing little bar and shop for a beer that deserves to be known and recognized locally—not just globally, mind you! 😁 The owner is super friendly and always gives great advice. They have a huge selection of Bon Poison beers (yep, they brew it themselves, and right here too!)! And the more you buy, the cheaper it gets! 😉🍻 Bonus: the cans and bottles are absolutely gorgeous! 🤩🤩🤩 A truly local product that deserves to be discovered, and a shop that MUST become a must-visit! 😉 Cheers! 🍻🍻🍻
