24/03/2024: Excellent address for a weekend getaway or a few days. The hotel is perfectly located on the banks of the Loire and a few minutes from the winegrowers. The rooms are perfect. The view from the rooms with terrace is exquisite. I strongly advise you to dine there. The table is refined. We were served some of the best meat we have eaten in years.

06/12/2023: Really disappointed we were served frozen food from starter to dessert. I can't understand that we have the right to keep the name "restaurant".

30/11/2023: It's no longer truant the name of the restaurant it's American atmosphere now we should change the name and the menus a nigot catch I don't like being deceived about the merchandise but the waiter was nice and the food was copious and good so I still recommend

06/09/2023: Nous avons voulu déjeuner à 13h15, faute de trouver de quoi se restaurer et le magasin fermant à 14h, nous avons été refusé. Les chiens étant interdis à l'intérieur, nous désirions mangé sur la terrasse mais le commerçant n'a pas accepté. Je ne conseille pas cet établissement. Nous avons déjeuné dans un excellent établissement plus loin dans la ville.

08/03/2024: I will not apply the hygienic standards for German restaurants here. That would be unfair, because then you would have to apply French culinary standards to German restaurants (schnitzel au four!). We ate very well here and were served correctly and quickly, at a more than fair price. You can't get a meal like this anymore in Germany at that price (according to my experience, mind you!), €42 for two rich and really good menus with an aperitif, 1/2L of table wine and a café. Maybe we'll come back here on the way back - or later. It would be worthwhile.

24/12/2023: Very friendly, authentic and warm moment on December 24 at noon. The meal (“homemade” in a nod to the boss!) was perfectly delicious. The owners of the place are pleasant and friendly which doesn't spoil anything. Address not to be missed when visiting Cosne!

16/03/2024: We have been ordering birthday cakes for several years and the result is always the same despite the changes in desserts... excellent! The exotic and the macaronade are to die for. Even more pleasant to see the making of Easter eggs when passing by the shop. How lucky to have know-how like this in Decize.

Gloomy room for a 4 star No reception, no staff Security 0 (unsecured access and for reception a note in plain sight with our room number in the courtyard of the castle No one answers the booking message or the phone We left the room in the middle of the night 90€ for this a scandal!! I often travel to hotels, this is the first time I've seen this Response from the hotel today we are short of staff I understand but not my problem and must not become my problem I pay for a service that is not at all there. We had booked a 20m2 room in the annex to find ourselves in a kind of maid's room in the castle with no soul and uncomfortable bedding. No apology from the hotel or offer of gesture A pure scandal I totally advise against it
