23/12/2025: It's best to be warned beforehand: If you start pulling out a few small coins (1, 2, or 5 cents) to make up the change for the coffee, you'll get yelled at before you've even finished counting the change 🤣🤣 The gentleman "doesn't want these small coins, he doesn't have time to deal with them." It's unheard of!

22/10/2025: Honestly, I don't understand how anyone can give this restaurant 1 star when everything is perfect, whether it's the welcome, the quality of the products, the way it's cooked, the price. I would love to have a restaurant this good near my home.

22/05/2026: We hadn't made a reservation, didn't know it was necessary, and walked in at 7:00 PM. It was completely full, but the very friendly owner went to see if he could still arrange something. And luckily, he still had a high table with bar stools at the back of the restaurant. We had an incredibly delicious meal; the nems (spring rolls); I have never had them this good! The steak tartar and the beef stew; our main courses were delicious, and the tiramisu too! We really had a great meal for a low price; super! Afterwards, we spoke briefly with the owner, who started this restaurant 15 years ago at the age of 22. It is simply always full, and I understand why. We said goodbye with a handshake and kisses for my wife! Service a 10, atmosphere a 10, and truly, the food a solid 10! 21-5-2026: back at the Mec in shorts! We sat outside nicely; the street was closed to traffic, and a large terrace had been set up where you could sit comfortably. What lovely, hospitable service this restaurant has. You feel welcome and are served with great pleasure. I can be brief about the food there: amazing! Be sure to finish the meal with their baba because it is superb. We will definitely be back in October; I am already looking forward to it…

The sea scallops and fish fillet we tried were so juicy and tender, really highlighting how fresh the ingredients were. Our server’s dessert suggestion was just amazing. 15/06/2026: Hello, the food is very good. For me, the butcher's cut with its gratin was absolutely delicious. I also had a creamy fromage blanc, which was very good. I'm amending my initial review: the drinks were refreshing.

22/01/2026: Fourth visit, and while they've changed the menu, everything else has changed too, and not for the better. Order a charcuterie item from the menu, and you get three slices of andouille sausage and three of salami. The sauerkraut on the menu is a disaster: cabbage with bacon, two sausages, and one potato (not very regional at all). As for the bread on the menu, it's simply leftover unfinished rolls from the regular menu. And the restrooms at the end of service are as clean as the dining room.

The setting is splendid, the food sublime, the wines sensational, and the staff incredibly attentive. In short, an experience to be repeated, even though it wasn't my first time; it's always a delight. Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Couron for creating such wonderful moments for us.

05/06/2026: The location is quite central. The atmosphere is pleasant but nothing special. We only sat outside. The staff is very friendly. We each had a croque monsieur with fries. It was tasty. The price is reasonable and fair. We can recommend this restaurant.
