26/09/2026: We ended up here by chance at lunchtime during a walk. No reservation, but we were received very kindly. We enjoyed a main course and dessert. Sublime preparation of seemingly simple food. We are not wine drinkers, but the local beer from Sancerre invites us to visit the brewery in the coming days. Upon leaving, the lady asked if we wanted to take water with us for the walk. So sweet and thoughtful!

28/09/2026: You arrive and you think, "The exterior of this restaurant is strange, where have I ended up?" And yet, inside, you'll find excellent cuisine: refined, meticulous, elaborate, and subtle. I particularly enjoyed the slow-cooked pigeon; for me, it was perfect. Apparently, the trout is worth the trip, according to our fellow diners. The prices are high, but the chef's expertise more than justifies it, and we knew that before booking. In the dining room, the service is attentive and refined. For me, that evening was flawless. This restaurant surpasses many of the best Parisian gastronomic establishments. Thank you again.

21/09/2026: Excellent inn, a real find that we highly recommend. The food is excellent and plentiful. If you're near Les Settons, a stop is a must.

29/08/2026: An excellent spot nestled in nature on the shores of Lac des Settons. Delicious traditional Morvan cuisine. Generous portions. Authentic local flavors. We highly recommend this inn, its crapiaux (a type of sausage), country ham, fresh cheeses, and its entire menu, which evokes the flavors of Burgundy. Exceptional value for money.

27/08/2026: The waitress was very good. Period. The food needs improvement; I ordered my meat rare, but it arrived overcooked. It's not Limousin beef, after all. Touristy restaurant.

19/08/2026: A very nice place, they make a delicious latte macchiato. A very warm welcome in a magnificent setting on Place Carnot with incredible monuments.

01/10/2026: The restaurant no longer exists. It will be replaced by a fast-food restaurant.

25/09/2026: We spontaneously decided to come here on Tuesday evening and were more than satisfied. Friendly service, excellent, fresh food with a special touch, and the prices weren't at all exorbitant. We'd gladly come back anytime!

06/08/2026: We stopped for lunch during a road trip in our VW T2B campervan along the Route Bleue. Excellent place: quality service and a superb €17.80 set menu. I recommend the calf's head with gribiche sauce. A must-try if you're interested in the Trente Glorieuses (the thirty glorious years of post-war economic boom) and the good old days of traffic jams on the N7 (you have to take it whether you're going to Rome or Sète, whether there are two, three, four, five, six, or seven of you). As soon as we get the chance, we'll stop there again!

06/08/2026: Sorry we can't give it a 5/5, we must have gone on an off day! Several issues marred our visit. The service was mediocre (the waiter seemed a bit lost, maybe he was new?). They forgot the bread and didn't ask what we wanted to drink. As for the food, the eggs meurette were cold and one portion was missing mushrooms. The egg buffet had hard-boiled eggs but no mayonnaise, and my fries must have been made with baby potatoes. That said, we had a decent meal and the price was good. As locals, we'll give it another try.
