18/07/2026: One of the best restaurants in the area. The bistronomic cuisine is excellent and truly original; the chef is incredible! And that's true from appetizer to dessert. Superb wine list with a wide selection. Top-notch service and welcome. If you haven't been yet, this is the place to go, whatever the season. Oh yes, I almost forgot, the menu is updated regularly, and you wonder where the chef gets all his inspiration. Finally, unbeatable value for money.

27/06/2026: The decor is nice, with bottles and monkeys. The menu is enticing, with Italian touches. The food is delicious, and we generously finished each plate. A minor drawback is the presentation and the plates themselves; we eat with our eyes too 😜

31/07/2026: A charming café. A captivating interior adorned with historical objects. We sat on the terrace because of the heat. We had a coffee and a glass of wine. Despite its proximity to the street and the train station, it's a very calm and peaceful place. We had a wonderful time.

26/07/2026: A lovely discovery this July! The waitress was very friendly, and the service was quick. And the food was perfect: well-cooked, seasoned, and in more than generous portions. With the set menu (starter, main course, dessert), we left completely satisfied 😉 All this at a very reasonable price. Thank you!

23/12/2025: It's best to be warned beforehand: If you start pulling out a few small coins (1, 2, or 5 cents) to make up the change for the coffee, you'll get yelled at before you've even finished counting the change 🤣🤣 The gentleman "doesn't want these small coins, he doesn't have time to deal with them." It's unheard of!

22/10/2025: Honestly, I don't understand how anyone can give this restaurant 1 star when everything is perfect, whether it's the welcome, the quality of the products, the way it's cooked, the price. I would love to have a restaurant this good near my home.

22/05/2026: We hadn't made a reservation, didn't know it was necessary, and walked in at 7:00 PM. It was completely full, but the very friendly owner went to see if he could still arrange something. And luckily, he still had a high table with bar stools at the back of the restaurant. We had an incredibly delicious meal; the nems (spring rolls); I have never had them this good! The steak tartar and the beef stew; our main courses were delicious, and the tiramisu too! We really had a great meal for a low price; super! Afterwards, we spoke briefly with the owner, who started this restaurant 15 years ago at the age of 22. It is simply always full, and I understand why. We said goodbye with a handshake and kisses for my wife! Service a 10, atmosphere a 10, and truly, the food a solid 10! 21-5-2026: back at the Mec in shorts! We sat outside nicely; the street was closed to traffic, and a large terrace had been set up where you could sit comfortably. What lovely, hospitable service this restaurant has. You feel welcome and are served with great pleasure. I can be brief about the food there: amazing! Be sure to finish the meal with their baba because it is superb. We will definitely be back in October; I am already looking forward to it…

21/07/2026: The food was excellent, the staff were welcoming, everything was perfect.

20/07/2026: We received a warm welcome in a typical setting. There was relatively little wait despite the restaurant being quite busy. We were satisfied with the food but not with the price, which was about 30 percent higher. This was especially true of the "crapiaud à l'epoisse" (19.5€), which was a "thick" crepe with three portions of Epoisse cheese, a lettuce leaf, and a third of a tomato. It should have come with a proper, large salad or been priced closer to €12 to be in line with our other reference prices. Dishes served with unlimited potato gratin were, in fact, better value for money. If we disregard the high prices, we were very happy with our evening. Thank you!

14/07/2026: Delicious meal. A few minor issues to address: A carafe of water, 40°C, was only available 30 minutes after our arrival upon request. A one-hour wait to be served with children. And the drinks server was friendly but very organized and a bit slow.

04/01/2026: Okay, sorry, but I'm going to give it two stars. The first star because you can't start from scratch, and the second, which is the only good point, is that they at least said hello. After that notable event, it was like stepping into another dimension. The atmosphere was quite austere, a bit "uncomfortable" in this bar/restaurant. We were there, but we didn't exist! We waited patiently standing to order, but no one bothered to acknowledge us or even glance at us, for what seemed like an eternity. So we turned around and left. Perhaps our faces didn't deserve to boost their profits. We resigned ourselves to it, feeling ignored. Well, I don't blame them, it's just a shame to be in business when you clearly don't understand the basics. And maybe they simply don't need customers; besides, it didn't look like there was a rush of people coming in for a Saturday night. So we went to Lord's, and it was honestly great. I'd give them a solid 5/5 for their hospitality and service; they clearly know how to treat their customers. You should take note.
