26/08/2026: We've found our new go-to spot! 😊 It's been a long time since we've had such a great time. Being the foodies we are, we fell in love with this restaurant. We arrived, were greeted with a smile, and at our table, the young waiter knew his menu inside and out. In the kitchen, the women were expertly cooking everything perfectly, with no unpleasant surprises. We were impressed by the quality of the ingredients. Over at the wine cellar, the other guy in shorts was doing a fantastic job. With a touch of humor, he'll take you off the beaten path, and you'll leave feeling completely won over. The bar staff were all smiles too; everyone was cheerful, joking around, and we felt right at home, all within a tasteful decor. In short, it was flawless. We loved it, we loved it, and we'll love it again. 😉 Thank you all for this wonderful evening. P.S. 09/07/2026: Very noisy in the dining rooms! Exhausting in the heat (air conditioning barely working). Terrace closed at lunchtime! Staff too stiff...no genuine smiles. Good food. Disappointed.

02/09/2026: We used Ô Puits for our wedding, which took place on August 22nd, and we can say that the entire team was dynamic and friendly, both in the dining room and in the kitchen. I didn't take any photos of the appetizers and main courses, but everything was perfect, and everyone enjoyed the menu. Thank you for your professionalism. We look forward to tasting your cuisine again, but this time at the restaurant.

10/09/2026: Wow, wow, wow. I was traveling alone through France and was looking for a quiet spot to enjoy a glass of wine. Pierre gave me a super friendly welcome, helped me fantastically with my choice, gave a very interesting explanation, and we had a super pleasant conversation. The wine and snacks were also top-notch. My visit to Une Note de Vin was definitely the highlight of my visit to Nevers.

Delicious and authentic local produce. All available gluten-free. Hats off! A true discovery in this small village nestled in the Nièvre countryside. A very warm welcome. Not to mention an excellent wine recommendation. Update 08.2026: We returned to the restaurant: The quality remains top-notch, and the creativity, both in the kitchen and the service, is as strong as ever. The current menu impressed us greatly. It's always a unique experience. The snails in the "Dampfnudel" (steamed dumplings) and, for me, on a bed of buckwheat, were a true explosion of flavors. The ingredients and aromatic herbs from the restaurant's garden enhance these refined creations. Thank you for this delightful experience in Alluy.

18/08/2026: The fondue bourguignonne is simply a must here. Always a delight. Generous portions. Accompanied by a delicious potato gratin. The only slight drawback was the service from the young gentleman, which was a bit slower than usual. The house wine, a cuvée, is a wonderful choice. And for dessert, the flotted islands are simply unbeatable. With roasted almond slivers. I'm pleased to say the tables have been freshly sanded. They used to be a bit sticky. Now they're wonderfully clean. A real pleasure. 😃

06/08/2026: Sorry we can't give it a 5/5, we must have gone on an off day! Several issues marred our visit. The service was mediocre (the waiter seemed a bit lost, maybe he was new?). They forgot the bread and didn't ask what we wanted to drink. As for the food, the eggs meurette were cold and one portion was missing mushrooms. The egg buffet had hard-boiled eggs but no mayonnaise, and my fries must have been made with baby potatoes. That said, we had a decent meal and the price was good. As locals, we'll give it another try.

06/08/2026: We stopped for lunch during a road trip in our VW T2B campervan along the Route Bleue. Excellent place: quality service and a superb €17.80 set menu. I recommend the calf's head with gribiche sauce. A must-try if you're interested in the Trente Glorieuses (the thirty glorious years of post-war economic boom) and the good old days of traffic jams on the N7 (you have to take it whether you're going to Rome or Sète, whether there are two, three, four, five, six, or seven of you). As soon as we get the chance, we'll stop there again!
