21/01/2025: A good, average, clean tourist hotel/business hotel in the north of Nevers. The room was big enough for two people, although the bathroom was a bit cramped. Breakfast is not cheap, but for the price (€13/person) you get a very large and good choice. Free parking spaces available approximately 150 meters away. Friendly and attentive staff. In my opinion, the prices are average for this category and offer good value for money. The city center of Nevers is about 15 minutes away on foot.
16/01/2025: Driving home from Paris, we stopped halfway and stayed at your hotel. We chose it primarily because of the free, secure parking, and so glad we did, as we had a problem with our rental car and couldn’t get the doors to lock! Although a block away, the parking is very secure (behind a closed gate at night) and put my mind at ease. Once we checked in, we found the room to be comfortable and the hotel staff gracious. Would recommend and will stay again if in the area.

22/03/2026: Stayed at the Logis for one night. Room was very clean and comfortable. But the real problem was in the restaurant. The service was so incredibly slow. Painfully slow. An hour and a half for a cold entrée and another hour before the main course. Some tables never received their dishes. The guy serving was doing his best but the problem was obviously in the kitchen. Wrong orders came out for other tables...it became a farce. I won't go on...simply not enough space here. It is such a shame as the food was good, very good. Previous reviews have been very positive, but I guess I should have read more carefully the few that mentioned very slow service. Maybe a bad evening in the kitchen, but not even a word of apology. Nothing.
22/03/2026: We had booked the entire night and dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. Our reservation was for 7 pm, but upon arrival, the chef immediately said, "Oh, everyone's arriving at once!" (Since the restaurant is only open from 7 pm to 8:30 pm, this wasn't surprising). The waiter was very courteous and helpful, but it quickly became apparent that all was not well in the kitchen. We were the sixth of 15 tables to arrive. We watched in despair as the tables awaiting us were served with intervals of more than 20 minutes between courses! The menu was extremely limited, and the appetizers were cold (prepared in advance), so it should have been simple! We waited over an hour and a half for the appetizer, then almost an hour for the main course. In the meantime, the waiter came to check our order and those of the other tables. We were lucky enough to receive our main course, but another couple didn't get theirs and had to make do with the cheese board. To top it all off, we had ordered a rather expensive bottle of red Burgundy to celebrate. We had to remind the waiter, and when he brought it, we noticed a lot of condensation on the bottle. We asked about it, and the waiter told us it had just come out of the refrigerator but would warm up! We refused it. The chef checked the temperature: it was 9°C, and he tried to convince us that it was fine for the wine 😬. He reluctantly agreed to get another bottle from the cellar, and it was delicious! Overall, while the food was tasty, the service was so slow that it spoiled our enjoyment of the evening. The atmosphere in the dining room was really tense. A four-course meal, three of which were cold and ready to be prepared in advance – four hours! Never to be repeated and not recommended!

05/12/2025: There was a customer who wanted to invite herself over, and a croissant that would have fed a regiment, then they smoked trout (it must not be easy to roll), then we left with canelés that were too good, in short a magical place with good products.
21/11/2025: I arrived at the bakery early and in a good mood, but the unpleasant experience began as soon as I stepped inside with a shocking temperature difference between the outside and inside of the shop. My glasses fogged up, making it impossible to see anything, something that never happens to me anywhere else. I pushed through the discomfort and made my way to the counter. Before I could even serve myself, the cashier curtly asked if I intended to pay by card. I replied that I did, and that I had no other choice as I didn't have any cash on hand for my purchase. She retorted that the card machine was out of order. So I left empty-handed and had to resign myself to buying something else entirely at Céréa due to lack of time and cash. A semi-final appearance in the competition for the best bakery in France in 2024 is no excuse, and I personally believe that kind, conscientious, and humble bakers don't need to compete on TV to retain their customers. From experience, I'd even say it's a hindrance, both for the demanding customer attracted by the hype but ultimately dissatisfied, and for the baker who gets a big head. Because it irritates me to read some of the owner's responses in the reviews on their own Google My Business listing. A small example is worth a thousand words: a customer named Marie Noëlle expresses her opinion about a bad experience, and all you can come up with is the kind of criticism you find on a keyboard, even going so far as to condemn the digital age. But if you don't like digital technology, why use it yourself? If you hadn't had a listing, she wouldn't have commented at all and wouldn't have come back to see you. A little psychology would have taught you that a frustrated customer doesn't come back a second time! This timeless lesson has been taught since the Stone Age. What a harsh and inappropriate response, unworthy of a professional! This morning I was still debating whether or not to return to that bakery, but my answer is final: no way! The customer is king, and if you don't grasp that concept, that's your problem. There are plenty of local artisans who are good businesspeople, so customers who value positive human interaction and good business practices can make the right choice.

25/11/2025: Fantastic family meal with a warm atmosphere and excellent food. The owner is super friendly and the decor is original. We'll be back, highly recommended! He'll remember us if I mention: "Extra 1 EGG" 😂 from November 10th 😉

22/02/2026: The rating is for the restaurant, not the hotel. The service is impeccable and the food is good. However, the set menu price is still excessive considering the quality and presentation of the dishes. At this price, cloth napkins would be appreciated instead of paper ones, as would un-chipped tableware.
11/02/2026: Comfortable room, nice bathroom, inexpensive breakfast for what was offered, decent restaurant, but the dining room lacked heating for February.
