06/09/2024: Everything perfect, impossible to find a flaw from the kind and professional service to the quality of the dishes. It is one of the best Michelin-starred dishes, the dishes are taken care of in every detail and you wake up satisfied, full but not weighed down. The dessert is amazing, considering that in my opinion it usually remains the weak point of many gourmet restaurants. Mandatory stop for lovers of gourmet and non-gourmet cuisine. Well done.

31/08/2024: Avons découvert cette adresse sur Cassel. Bel intérieur comme un hôtel particulier. Belle cour sous un grand parasol à côté d'un petit bassin qui rafraîchit la cour. Menu avec 2 choix possibles. Nous avons pris les ris de veau girolles suivi d'agneau polenta et petits légumes. Dessert sous forme de petits tableaux. C'était excellent, très bien présenté avec de bons produits. Un peu long par manque de personnel en cuisine mais en ce moment cela touche pas mal de restaurants. Sinon très bonne qualité dans un beau cadre.

09/08/2024: Joli restaurant et bonne cuisine mais très très peu de choix, ennuyeux quand on est un peu difficile!! 2 menus avec 2 choix par entrée, plat et dessert. Pas de carte, il vaut mieux voir les menus proposés avant de réserver (où? c'est la question) Avons été contraints de prendre une entré que nous n'aimions pas vraiment, les ris de veau, mais nous n'apprécions absolument pas l'autre alternative du thon rouge cru! Dommage!!

22/08/2024: Family lunch during the week. Very warm welcome, we feel good. Top children's menu with homemade minced steak and a very generous portion. Typical Flanders dishes (homemade potj, carbonnades, croquettes, etc.) at the top. The chef goes into the room to greet customers and collect opinions. I recommend. Good choice of beers and draft beers in particular (the triple Lefort…um) THANKS ! 🙏🏼

17/06/2024: A good brasserie in the heart of Cassel! Pleasant and attentive waitresses! A crispy chicken salad and a duck breast with pepper sauce!! A TREAT!!🥰 I recommend !!!

29/09/2024: I think there has been a change of ownership. It was better before, both in service and on the plates. The salmon was dried out. The stew was not great and the fries were off the rack. Foie gras small thin slice for a high price. And I'll stop there.

14/06/2024: Recommend this restaurant not only for excellent food and great views over France but for the hospitality shown by the owner/chef. His friendly nature and willingness to chat to you after has finished cooking is not to be found in many restaurants. The staff always have a smile and are very helpful even if they struggle to understand our poor French. We have been going regularly over the years and is one of our highlights to our trips to France. Thank you for welcoming us Peter and Sue x

06/06/2024: A pleasant waitress welcomed us and asked if we would like to sit inside or out. We chose inside so were directed to a corner table with no view, no panoramique from there! The table would have benefitted from a good clean but someone had taken the trouble to wedge beer mats under one leg to stop it wobbling. We both had beers, one of the glasses was chipped in two places on the rim. Our food was acceptable but very standard fare, fine if just seeking to assuage hunger but not so good if looking for a memorable experience.
