13/04/2024: I just tried the traditional baguette which is nothing exceptional, it's white crumb, it has no taste but to accompany it with spread, why not. Long live sourdough!

The homemade mayonnaise is fantastic.
Picon Saint Bernardus beer perfectly executed.
The place is superb and very friendly, a must-see in Dunkirk
24/03/2024: Said on google maps that it was open and it would close at 15:00. Got there at 13:30 and it was closed.
Edit: On google maps the restaurant shows it’s open 23/03/2024. I came from london so that I could eat there and you’re saying it says on the door it’s closed. Unfortunately from London I can’t see your door. Stupid excuse. A few meters away from you, I found a good restaurant called Le puzzle. I’m glad you were closed!

06/05/2024: Had a cup of coffee and a Brussels waffle. The waffle was tough and nothing special. Service and atmosphere was good.
05/05/2024: I haven't been back for a long time because I was disappointed by the previous brand. Affordable menu offering several choices. Very good Flemish stew, good taste and very little fat

Very simple place with no frills.
The food is good and the service is fast and friendly.
Great for a quick and cheap lunch.
29/03/2024: It is a tobacconist with a counter for coffee and drinks and at the back of the shop there are tables where you can have lunch. The staff is very kind. The cuisine is correct as are the prices but it is not a real restaurant. It's good for a quick meal with few pretensions. The staff however is very friendly.

Large spaces and a multitude of freely accessible games and books with plenty of space to sit quietly.
I recommend
Just watch out for stairs and window holes.
04/03/2024: The premises are superb, the workshop in which my grandson participated very well. Only one downside, access is not easy, there is no signage

01/04/2024: Very good cuisine, a small downside on the service, after the aperitif, and the starter, during the main course no offer of drink or bread to accompany, and during dessert, we had to ask twice to get something. the water. Otherwise the rest as usual, we will come back.

24/03/2024: Clean, spacious and efficient room. Comfortable bedding. Large shower, very nice view. Quiet environment and all of Dunkirk is within walking distance. The only downside is the overwhelming and sickening smell of humidity when you enter the room, requiring you to air it out for a good quarter of an hour.

17/02/2024: The food is excellent, the aperitif is well served but lacks something to nibble on, a small downside is that the dish is served too quickly, there is no time to finish your aperitif.
09/01/2024: Very warm welcome, a little hungry around 3:30 p.m. and they still make us American, it's super nice. What would have been great is fresh fries this evening. But hey, it was still good.

Jeremy Greg and Sébastien are very pleasant, courteous, qualified and meticulous employees; their work is absolutely impeccable and their site is clean when they leave, perfect finishes! Apparently this is the policy of Solabaie Dunkerque: professional and friendly! I recommend with my eyes closed! I forgot...perfect value for money! Thanks to the entire Solabaie Dunkerque team!
