26/08/2026: A delightful rediscovery of this restaurant tonight. A most pleasant welcome, a cozy atmosphere, and a lovely, well-arranged terrace. The owners take the time to explain the menu and daily specials thoroughly. We felt very comfortable there, and the dishes and desserts were excellent and more than generous, all at a very reasonable price. A wonderful evening in this charming setting in the heart of Valenciennes.

Ultimately, we felt more like we were in an upscale brasserie than a true bistronomic restaurant. The dishes were decent, but nothing particularly surprising or exceptional. We expected more originality and creativity on the plates. It was an acceptable experience, but one that didn't particularly impress us.

The owner and his wife are incredibly kind, pleasant, and very professional. We immediately felt at ease, like we were at home. 🥰 As for the food, it was a real treat! 🥩 The beef was incredibly tender, melting in your mouth like butter, with exceptional quality. A true delight for the taste buds! Special mention also goes to the gourmet coffee, with its beautiful presentation and delicious homemade desserts. Pure bliss! ☕🍰 The setting is just as charming: a warm and authentic decor, reminiscent of the pretty houses of northern France. The place is calm, friendly, and full of charm. I felt right at home, and that's exactly what makes all the difference. ❤️ A huge thank you to the owner and his wife for their kindness and this wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!
