06/06/2026: We only tried the restaurant once, and while some dishes met our expectations, others were disappointing! However, our biggest disappointment was the restaurant's marketing department. Although we booked through the third-party app "The Fork," we couldn't use the voucher we received from them to pay for the restaurant! We had to pay the bill even though we had received the voucher, and management refused to listen. They offered no solution whatsoever! From this perspective, we do not recommend this establishment.

10/05/2026: We didn't try the hotel! Restaurant: The starter and main course were very good, however, we were very disappointed with the desserts. What bothered us most wasn't the meal itself, but the fact that the establishment, despite being listed on The Fork app, couldn't process payments through the app… consequently, we couldn't use our restaurant gift card! Be aware that you'll have to pay full price for your meal even if you book through The Fork app! We're left wanting more from these practices, which seem designed to attract customers…

29/08/2026: We went out this Saturday, it had been a long time. We arrived at Set Bar. An evening was underway, the atmosphere seemed nice. We ordered food: an aperitif, which took a very long time to be served, and a charcuterie board, which took even longer. A second aperitif, which took 40 minutes to arrive. Around 10:20 PM (we arrived at 8 PM), we flagged down a waitress because we still hadn't ordered, and the restaurant was getting crowded. The response: the cook finished at 10 PM! But we've been here for 2 hours and 20 minutes! So, we left without eating. The two waitresses were overwhelmed, and the managers were more concerned with taking photos of the evening than anything else. I do not recommend it.

30/07/2026: We had a wonderful evening, the food was delicious, and we received the warm welcome that people from the North of France are known for. The roasted razor clams, calamari fritters, and cod loin were excellent. It's a shame we weren't hungry enough for dessert, but they looked amazing. We'll be back!

15/08/2026: A truly wonderful experience at the Royal Hainaut, celebrating my mother's 70th birthday on August 8th. We dined at La Galerie restaurant, the one with the long, narrow dining room adorned with numerous portraits. The setting was absolutely magnificent, perfectly reflecting the charm of this historic building. It was a truly wonderful experience. Our waiter was incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive—truly worthy of this type of establishment. We enjoyed a delicious meal, with excellent dishes and pleasant service. Having heard about my mother's birthday, he even had the thoughtful touch of placing a small candle on her dessert, without us even asking. A small gesture, but one that truly made the moment special. I also asked him if he could take some photos of us to capture the day. He kindly agreed, with a smile. In short, a superb meal, an exceptional setting, a warm welcome, and above all, a beautiful memory for my mother's birthday. Thank you to the team at La Galerie and especially to our server for these thoughtful touches which helped make this day even more special.

02/06/2026: Exceptional setting, a very pleasant first spa experience! The second time spent under the glass roof was absolutely sublime and relaxing. Unfortunately, for this second experience, the Mojito had very little rum, an opinion confirmed by my partner. I should have mentioned it, but I didn't dare...

03/01/2026: Excellent homemade steak tartare; my husband had the filet mignon... also very good. The main course was reasonably priced. The dessert was very good but a bit pricey... the gourmet coffee was €10... even in Paris, that's not so expensive. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing, and the servers were very pleasant and smiling.

19/09/2026: The waiter was extremely unpleasant and didn't know the law regarding customer service. My niece had a takeaway order, but of course we were going to eat in the restaurant. The waiter, who was older, refused, claiming that they already prepared their own dishes. It's outrageous, especially since the terrace was practically empty.

24/09/2026: For several years, we've been Speed ​​Burger customers. Their menus were more expensive than the competition, but we got what we paid for: different sandwiches and generous portions of fries. However, over the years, we've seen the quality decline, as has the service. They would close without warning some days, leaving the phone line open, with no online announcement of their closure. The phone system was a glitch, so we put up with it... but for the past year, the sandwiches and fries have been reduced by half, and the new sandwich recipe is as bad as those bought frozen from a supermarket freezer. Tonight, we were ripped off: €27.80 for three smaller sandwiches and a small portion of fries, sauce, and delivery (which we had to pay for). Keep it up... closure is imminent. We've decided we won't be your customers anymore; there are better options elsewhere for that price. Goodbye.

09/08/2026: So, it's a Sunday and most of the town is shut. Luckily, we found this place, which seemed to be buzzing with people of all ages sat on the terrace. Staff were apologetic about the food, "only finger food". It was lovely, a generous cheese and charcuterie platter and selection of tapas.
