26/02/2025: your explanations for your closure are more than risky you know very well that the covid crisis plus the economic crisis plus the transformation of the Place d'Arme into a pedestrian zone which caused the surrounding businesses to lose 40% of their customers plus the closure of the Passage des Flanders on December 3 completed the disaster in just 3 months 10 license 4 establishments (bars bistros restaurants) closed for bankruptcy! in Valenciennes you are the 10th and everyone noted this so as not to incriminate the municipal team when it is the turn of the SET I wonder how you will react! note: responding to a dissatisfied customer the day before the permanent closure of the establishment that you are going to improve the table service is at the highest level!

09/10/2024: Honestly, I love the restaurant, the atmosphere is amazing, but unfortunately the prices keep going up. It's really disgusting for a brand that was originally intended for students.

27/07/2024: Aujourd'hui vieille de fermeture..déjà la moitié de la carte est absente au menu ..pas de choix ... Plus de bière pression..et l appareil a carte bleue ne fonctionne pas!!c est une blague...je demande au serveur si le cuisinier est en congés histoire de plaisanter....c est se moquer du client...mes tagliatelles au saumon nage ds la sauce ...et je vais difficilement a la pêche au saumon ds mon assiette...poisson quasi absent c est plus de la soupe de pâtes!!!!je ne reviendrai plus

31/10/2024: Bon accueil pour ce jeudi midi. Les plats étaient très bons et le rapport qualité prix de même ! Beaucoup de monde il faut certainement réserver avant d’y aller.

28/11/2025: Hello This is the second time we've eaten here, and it was a real treat. There were four of us, and we enjoyed a ribeye steak, a Welsh rarebit, and two Flemish carbonnade dishes. Thank you to the chef, Guillaume, who takes the time to chat with the customers, and to Julien for the excellent welcome. We will gladly return. I highly recommend it.

17/07/2024: Nous avons dîné le 15/07/24 au restaurant Boston Compagny. Très bon accueil, personnel à l'écoute. Nous avons apprécié ce dîner. A refaire

19/08/2024: Le service est très bien mais la cuisine est une catastrophe. La milanaise est arrivée brûlée et encore une fois après un retour en cuisine.

02/07/2024: This place styles itself as a wine and cheese bar but also offers a good range of regional dishes for those wanting something more substantial to eat. The standard of cooking from the young kitchen team cannot be faulted. Furnishings are simple and the lady who superintends the bar does the serving. My Poulet du Nord (chicken and mushrooms in a cheese sauce) was superb - plenty of really tastey meat and mushrooms cooked to perfection, ideally matched by the local Maroilles cheese. The sweet potato frites which came with it were an inspiration. My husband's escalop was also perfectly cooked, but he was somewhat overwhelmed by the generous helping of noodles which came with it. There is a long and interesting wine list, with soemthing to suit every pocket.

06/05/2024: Très belle découverte. Accueil souriant, plats variés mais pas trop donc parfait, bien présentés, copieux et très bon. Je recommande et j’y retournerai probablement.

29/02/2024: Nous venons régulièrement entre collègues, et l’accueil se fait toujours avec le sourire. Il arrive régulièrement d’arriver après 14h et la qualité du service reste toujours le même. Il y en a pour tout le monde : les amateurs de viande, végétariens, poissons etc… je recommande vivement.
