14/10/2024: This is a tiny restaurant: 10 tables. The food was exceptional.
The menu had a three-course dinner with optional wine pairings; which we had. Delicious and reasonably priced. Would recommend.

08/12/2024: Very pleasant surprise when discovering this restaurant. Exceptional setting Very warm welcome, accommodating staff when we asked to change places. Thank you for the surprise for my mother's 90th birthday by putting her some music, accompanied by her dessert with an artificial candle and putting the room in the dark. Accompanied by customers who got involved in the game and applauded this event
This is a very good memory for my mother. THANKS
Be careful when going down the steps to access the restaurant :)

21/08/2024: We were very well received in this creperie, the service is fast and friendly. The crepes and pancakes are very, very hearty and at a super reasonable price. Special mention for the delicious spritz!

06/09/2024: Brunch for my lover's birthday on a Sunday at the end of August. In terms of food, it was okay, nothing more. The service was not the best - always had to look for someone to ask for water, clear the table. Then as we were the last, the team put everything away in front of us - and even vacuumed the inside! We were on the terrace - really missing a gardener - too bad because the castle is pretty in front when you arrive, but is in serious need of a refresh behind.

Clean and spacious room, very friendly staff and excellent swimming pool.
The place is ideal for having a good time and relaxing.

21/09/2024: Le cadre est agréable, il n’y a pas de concurrence, pas de bonnes raisons pour abuser. Bière pression servie ne correspond pas à la commande, on commence par me dire que c’est la bonne avant de revenir pour m’annoncer qu’il n’y en avait plus, alors par défaut je garde la bière servie, une blonde sans saveur sans mousse. Crepe nutella a 7,50 euros, c’est cher pour une qualité de pâte très moyenne, merci au nutella. Pas difficile de trouver une bonne recette sur internet, ce ne sont pas les ingrédients qui vont coûter cher. Personnel sympathique, patron poli. Le serveur avec un jean tout taché, ça la fout mal…

03/12/2024: Excellent restaurant! There we find the style of traditional restaurants with the preparation of Suzette crepes in front of us which is always pleasant, accompanied by its little story. The dishes were delicious and the setting pleasant.
Special mention for our server who has such a good English accent that it is difficult to tell if he is French or English.

28/08/2024: Really disappointing. In such a setting we expect a quality and refined catering offer. Well no! Plastic table and chair, defrosted croque monsieur for €18 and the famous whipped cream as an excuse for exorbitant dessert prices... a total disappointment.
Fortunately our waitress is charming.
Brief! Better to plan a picnic than to be fooled in this restaurant.

26/01/2025: This unmissable place in Compiègne deserves a good 5 star level Service and Ambiance (dedication to Isabelle) nice eh the Guinness in 50. LoL...The cuisine I don't know yet haven't had the opportunity to taste it to see why not.

No other vegetarian options.
Gross I couldn't finish it!
Industrial made with meat flavor substitutes.... The burger bun is not good.
The dessert on the other hand, crème brûlée, is delicious.
The correct service and the smiling lady.
My friend had a fish which he enjoyed.
I won't come back, I like to have a choice like offering an omelette for example and not frozen!

29/08/2024: Le Chalet du Lac is set up primarily for dining, but there is a comfortable outdoor seating area set aside for people who simply want a beer or two. It’s situated on the lakeside garden of an old villa and is perfectly charming.
The location, service and beers were spot on. Another nice place to drink in this beautiful village.
17/08/2024: Table too small for 5, rosé wine not fresh. Asked to eat outside because it was too hot inside, we were told that all the tables were taken even though many were free. Very poor performance. I do not recommend!

28/09/2024: We went there early this afternoon to avoid the crowds. You are welcomed with a smile... Smiles that don't leave your faces and it's very, very pleasant.
The meal was very good for an amusement park restaurant.
Of course, the prices seem high for the meal but that's the game of a meal taken on site. Let's not forget that this is not a fast food restaurant and that it is table service.
In short, speed, smile and we ate well... At the top THANK YOU also teams
22/09/2024: We went there with my wife for a snack.
We took 2 pancakes for 11€ and clearly this is making fun of the world:
- Cold pancakes barely warmed
- Not homemade
- The sugar / coulis / spread are placed in a small pot and not in the pancake
- Taste that leaves something to be desired and we were clearly left wanting more
We knew it was a bit expensive restaurant but being regular visitors to the park, we wanted to try it to see what it was like.
Conclusion: first and last time for us, 6€ per pancake when we know that making one yourself costs 35 cents, we are in for a big scam, sincerely disappointed

27/09/2024: I recommend taking the Degustation set with wine accompaniment as it is beautifully crafted, both presentation and taste a top notch at a reasonable price. The service was kind and professional from waiters, one lady was a bit rude, but I guess anyone can have a bad day. Overall great experience and a must visit. The restaurant is easy to get to by Uber

28/09/2024: Beautiful place outside. On the other hand, everything inside leaves something to be desired. The place is not well maintained. The meeting rooms are basic. Carpet with large stains. Uncomfortable chairs. Insufficient tea and coffee. Large room but the heating did not work! When it’s 14 degrees and humid during the day because of the rain and less than 10 degrees at night, it’s very uncomfortable and unpleasant. Despite the complaint at reception, the unfriendly gentleman who was officiating told me that the heating was working! He ended up bringing me a mini auxiliary heater that was totally insufficient to heat the bedroom and the bathroom. Furthermore, the table is more than average…
So, a very disappointing experience that I will not repeat.
26/09/2024: The castle itself is exceptional, as are the setting and the service.
The restaurant has an inventive chef and top-notch service, thanks to Lennart.
The hotel reception is welcoming and professional, the manager is passionate.
We'll come back :)

Welcome, great decor! and the pancakes hummm yum yum a treat!!
The boss is really unusual and friendly,
We went there as a family and we really had a good time, I recommend 100% and above all stop saying that the service is long, when you want homemade well you have to be tolerant and you will have a good time.
Specially for the boss "the Australians"!! he will understand
