12/01/2026: A tiny Vietnamese restaurant located in Compiègne. The pho is authentic and very good (served in the southern style), and besides this classic and the bun bo, the restaurant offers other dishes that change depending on the day of the week. The service is discreet but pleasant, and the chef is very friendly (we chatted a bit about Vietnam, a country I've had the pleasure of visiting several times).
For those interested, they serve Vietnamese beer (only Saigon, though).
06/01/2026: It's truly excellent; I've never had any problems while I've been there, the service is impeccable. The only slight drawback is a few minor glitches with the ordering process: sometimes my order wasn't ready on time, or I received the wrong dish (beef instead of chicken for a friend during a recent group order). There are numerous and delicious vegan/vegetarian options.

03/02/2026: An establishment like few others. Full of charm...old-world charm...comfort...luxury. An exceptional restaurant menu and wine list. The service was impeccable.
There's a grand piano in the main dining room, a vast, perfectly heated conservatory overlooking a magnificent wooded park. A breakfast room.
A bar with a fireplace and a bartender.
There are also about twenty perfectly equipped guest rooms. It's a place to recharge and enjoy a pleasant stay. Parking is easy.

20/01/2026: My husband and I went to eat at this restaurant on Saturday, January 17th at lunchtime. Super restaurant, the beef bourguignon on the menu made me feel like I was eating at my grandmother's house, it was divine. The apple crumble was a delight and the welcome was really top-notch. We will return with great pleasure.

20/02/2026: As a regular customer of this establishment for several years, I was recently very disappointed by my experience. One Thursday at 6 p.m., when the restaurant was three-quarters empty, the waiter asked a gentleman to move so we could be seated at his table, which made us feel uncomfortable.
Then, the service was particularly unpleasant. The waiter who looked after us was completely unfriendly: no greeting, no thank you, and a clear sense of being a bother. In a service industry, a minimum of courtesy seems essential to me.
A regrettable experience, especially coming from a place I had previously enjoyed.
17/02/2026: Good restaurant, often busy, the atmosphere is pretty good, but avoid getting a table upstairs, it's not as nice as downstairs. The food is good. I recommend it.

26/01/2025: This unmissable place in Compiègne deserves a good 5 star level Service and Ambiance (dedication to Isabelle) nice eh the Guinness in 50. LoL...The cuisine I don't know yet haven't had the opportunity to taste it to see why not.

No other vegetarian options.
Gross I couldn't finish it!
Industrial made with meat flavor substitutes.... The burger bun is not good.
The dessert on the other hand, crème brûlée, is delicious.
The correct service and the smiling lady.
My friend had a fish which he enjoyed.
I won't come back, I like to have a choice like offering an omelette for example and not frozen!

27/12/2025: I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant.
The dish I was served was completely different from what I had ordered.
When I pointed this out, the waiter insisted the mistake was mine, even though everyone at my table clearly heard my order.
I should mention that I don't eat meat, so I know perfectly well what I'm ordering and what I'm consuming; there was absolutely no room for ambiguity.
Instead of checking or trying to find a solution, he stuck to his story.
As a result, I had to swap dishes with someone else at the table just to get something to eat, which is simply unacceptable in an establishment that claims to be professional.
Mistakes happen, but how they're handled makes all the difference. Here, there was no listening, no consideration for the customer, and no professionalism.
I do not recommend it.
25/12/2025: Vol-au-vent made with frozen seafood (mussels, squid, scallops) and a tasteless, runny sauce: 26 euros...

Unfortunately, the floor is incredibly sticky, which must be to match the sticky tables. The coffee was mediocre. Since I value my physical health, I avoided going to the restroom! Those are the negative points. Too bad, we won't be back. 😒😟
