Everything was there: the taste, the flavors, the originality, exceptional dishes, and so much more. The waitresses were attentive and attentive. Absolutely flawless. 12/03/2026: We had lunch there last Saturday. A refined and peaceful place, with attractive and varied menus. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was excellent and attentive. Highly recommended.
03/02/2026: An establishment like few others. Full of charm...old-world charm...comfort...luxury. An exceptional restaurant menu and wine list. The service was impeccable.
There's a grand piano in the main dining room, a vast, perfectly heated conservatory overlooking a magnificent wooded park. A breakfast room.
A bar with a fireplace and a bartender.
There are also about twenty perfectly equipped guest rooms. It's a place to recharge and enjoy a pleasant stay. Parking is easy.

Fresh, home-style cooking. A small, long restaurant tucked away under the arcades. You have to look for it, but you'll find it.
12/01/2026: A tiny Vietnamese restaurant located in Compiègne. The pho is authentic and very good (served in the southern style), and besides this classic and the bun bo, the restaurant offers other dishes that change depending on the day of the week. The service is discreet but pleasant, and the chef is very friendly (we chatted a bit about Vietnam, a country I've had the pleasure of visiting several times).
For those interested, they serve Vietnamese beer (only Saigon, though).

20/02/2026: As a regular customer of this establishment for several years, I was recently very disappointed by my experience. One Thursday at 6 p.m., when the restaurant was three-quarters empty, the waiter asked a gentleman to move so we could be seated at his table, which made us feel uncomfortable.
Then, the service was particularly unpleasant. The waiter who looked after us was completely unfriendly: no greeting, no thank you, and a clear sense of being a bother. In a service industry, a minimum of courtesy seems essential to me.
A regrettable experience, especially coming from a place I had previously enjoyed.
17/02/2026: Good restaurant, often busy, the atmosphere is pretty good, but avoid getting a table upstairs, it's not as nice as downstairs. The food is good. I recommend it.

26/01/2025: This unmissable place in Compiègne deserves a good 5 star level Service and Ambiance (dedication to Isabelle) nice eh the Guinness in 50. LoL...The cuisine I don't know yet haven't had the opportunity to taste it to see why not.

No other vegetarian options.
Gross I couldn't finish it!
Industrial made with meat flavor substitutes.... The burger bun is not good.
The dessert on the other hand, crème brûlée, is delicious.
The correct service and the smiling lady.
My friend had a fish which he enjoyed.
I won't come back, I like to have a choice like offering an omelette for example and not frozen!

22/02/2026: We regularly go to Bistro des Flandres and we're never disappointed.
The cuisine is always refined, expertly prepared, and beautifully presented. Each dish is carefully crafted, and the flavors are always exceptional.
I particularly loved the salmon verrine as a starter, which was incredibly fresh and perfectly balanced, as well as the chocolate fondant for dessert, which was simply delicious and flawlessly executed.
The atmosphere is calm and pleasant, ideal for enjoying a relaxing meal. The setting is warm and inviting, and the servers are lovely, attentive, and professional.
An address we wholeheartedly recommend and where we always return with pleasure!
15/02/2026: Having called to make a reservation, I received a curt welcome... the person told me, "They all call at the same time to book!"
Don't forget that it's thanks to your customers that you make a living.
We won't be going back.

Unfortunately, the floor is incredibly sticky, which must be to match the sticky tables. The coffee was mediocre. Since I value my physical health, I avoided going to the restroom! Those are the negative points. Too bad, we won't be back. 😒😟
