It's an address well worth the detour in the Compiègne area for lovers of stone and well-being in a warm, family-friendly setting. A warm welcome, both in the ambiance and on the faces of the staff, awaited us at the entrance. Impeccable service and a delicious meal were served with joy and happiness, featuring a tempting menu. We had a wonderful evening in the company of the owners and staff who, through their experience, offered us a magnificent moment of escape from daily worries, a pause in time in this restaurant that allowed us to relive moments with family, often forgotten by our loved ones. My only complaint is that I was very disappointed with my main course, as the sautéed potatoes were swimming in porcini mushroom juice, and the duck leg was too salty. However, the dessert made up for the meal. Overall, a very nice experience.

14/08/2026: No welcome whatsoever, a nonchalant waiter who seemed bothered by us, ignored several times during our visit, we won't be going back to this establishment. Since March, we've automatically gone to Brasserie Georges across the street. The waiters are welcoming, smiling, very professional, and the food is high quality and reasonably priced; I highly recommend it.

28/07/2026: We booked a table to celebrate our two-year anniversary and we weren't disappointed. A small, cozy bistro, reasonably priced for the quality of both the service and the food. Friendly, welcoming, and attentive to its customers. A place we highly recommend.

26/07/2026: Actually, it's not the food itself that's the problem, but the service. The phone was unreachable, both the landline and mobile, to check if they had any availability. So we decided to go anyway, taking a chance. We went in, there were three of us, and the man was already behind his bar, not coming to greet us. I went over to him behind the bar and asked if there was any space (I saw two small empty tables). It was 1:30 PM, and he told me there wasn't. So, unfortunately, the service didn't live up to the restaurant's reputation.

03/09/2026: Back after a long absence. New chef, excellent experience. I recommend the Caesar salad and the Côtes du Rhône by the glass. A great place!

29/08/2026: Restaurant near the castle. We received a very warm welcome; everyone was smiling. We were given excellent advice, both on the food and the wine. 95% of the meal was homemade, and the gourmet coffee was generous. The twist on tartiflette was surprising and delicious. We truly had a lovely time and remained in good spirits for the rest of the day.

25/07/2026: Seafood fondue is very trendy, but unfortunately, this one was overcooked. The shellfish was completely dry, there was no sauce left in the dish, and the portion was ridiculously small. Advertised as serving 1-2 people, you get a measly little piece of corn and two pieces of potato. I was really looking forward to it, but it was a total disappointment, especially considering the exorbitant price.
