03/04/2024: We had dinner at Dessance a couple of weeks ago and it was a great experience overall. It is a beautifully designed, intimate space with only a couple of tables and unlike in other restaurants in the Marais, you don't (literally) rub elbows with your neighbors. Culinarily, there is a bit of room to grow left - the six course vegetarian menu is delicious (and quite a bargain at 69 EUR p.p.) but we felt it was a bit of a shame to start with something fried. The consistency of the celery ravioli also wasn't our cup of tea but these things aside, we were very happy with our meal. Service was outstanding, as is the concept of drinks-upon-recommendation. The pairing I had was spot-on.

We have not been disappointed Possibility of eating in a group if you reserve Different choices of meats and you can request gluten-free The portion of the okonomiyaki is average, so it's best to order a starter or dessert

05/04/2024: Great mixture of locals and tourists at this very friendly cafe. They do a lunch special which is great value. Classic French dishes that seem simple but yet so full of flavour.

06/03/2024: It’s a Corsican postcard in the heart of the Marais. Very good traditional cuisine with brocciu and chard cannelloni to be enjoyed with an excellent tomato sauce. We had a blast! To read our review, go to the Parisian news site.

15/04/2024: Ok ambience and good enough food but not brilliant experience in any way and expensive for what it is. If you are in the mood to be man-handled by the wait staff this is definitely the place for you! I wasn’t in the mood for that sort of treatment tonight. It feels as though the food is equally man-handled. Steaks tossed on a grill and overcooked beans. Not a place with sophistication. But if you are in the mood to have an experience that I would liken to a camping bonfire with a bunch of beer drinking mates this is the place for you!

05/04/2024: A rustic place where you share tables. Superbly grilled steaks, great cote de boeuf for two and excellent duck breast. Good foie gras and snails as starters, but do not forget the perfectly aged cheese!

31/03/2024: Truly excellent! We have already tried many restaurants in Paris and this was definitely one of the best. You get truly exquisite food for the price.

05/04/2024: Delicious meal with a lighter, more inventive approach than classic French bistro. The Millefeuille Tuna was as tasty as beautiful. Doesn't hurt that the staff was friendly and attentive. Do make a reservation.

04/04/2024: Awesome place for dinner. The food is delicious and interesting, and the place is cozy! The price is also lower than expected. It's super popular and tight inside so book a table a few hours in advance.

06/05/2024: Super good and fast!! This morning with the metro blocked, I went out at Chemin Vert to take another metro and what a pleasant surprise I had to grab a quick breakfast! Cocooning atmosphere and kindness 😊

04/05/2024: Delicious coffee and original tea flavors (how about almond popcorn?), but at the front delicious 'chimney cake' or brioche with different toppings such as cinnamon, oreo or speculoos. The kids loved it and had to go back for a second one🤩

04/04/2024: Very nice restaurant in the Marais. The food is quite good, even if the prices are quite high for what is offered. Kind and attentive service.

04/04/2024: Mixed by the experience which was not horrible but not necessarily great either. First of all, we came around 4 p.m. on a Friday and after we were outside it took a long time for the waiter to notice us. After giving us the card and although there weren't many people there at the time, he took another 15 minutes to come and ask us what we wanted and so on. The happy hour menu is very restrictive, their homemade lemonade is quite fragrant and not very sweet, the charcuterie board itself is good but what a disappointment to see all the salad hidden underneath. A short moment before telling us that what we had chosen for dessert was not available, the crème brûlée is good but nothing more. Furthermore, the toilets are not practical given where they are positioned but they were relatively clean. The place is certainly charming and rather well positioned but it's not necessarily a bar/brasserie to which I want to return.

02/04/2024: Maître de l'hotel was obviously on a night off from Fouquets - a level of service and poise you would not expect in such an intimate, family friendly, yet adult setting. A gentle hum of relaxed indistinguishable conversations filled the 'room' and the children around us very much picked up on the vibe. Happy tired faces left the bistro, whilst we enjoyed our food and the house red - which was a little better than it ought to have been. A very very pleasant way to end the day. Merci a tous!

05/04/2024: We had a lovely meal at Cafe des Musees-delicious food, attentive team service, cozy atmosphere. We had one order of escargots in mushrooms, two orders of beef bourguigon, two glasses of Cote du Rhône and two coffees and our bill came to 88 euros which we felt was terrific value. The serving of beef bourguignon was enormous and could probably feed two moderate eaters! We recommend and would return.

02/04/2024: I just went into this cafe because it was cold and tiring. I felt good because the owner greeted me so kindly and with a smile. The chai tea was delicious and the carrot cake I ate with it was also delicious. The interior of the store is cute and clean, so it's worth a visit.

31/03/2024: The place has a pleasant decoration and atmosphere. The menu offers typically English savory dishes and also cakes. The cheesecake is good (9eur all the same, we are in the center of Paris) but the scones are ordinary and especially served without cream.

05/04/2024: We arrived at the restaurant and the waiter asked us our information (reservation or not, how many, ..). After we said we didn't have a reservation he told us to wait a minute. In the meanwhile a group of 3 was helped. After that, two ladies with no reservation were taken in front of us. We confronted him and I think he thought we would not understand him in French because he didn't understand why we reacted angry. We left the place. This is no way to deal with customers.

04/04/2024: Very tasty food, we tried the ratatouille and the entrecôte. Both dishes were really good. The service was friendly. We got a table outside, without reservation, which was great - because the inside was fully booked.

31/03/2024: First time and not the last! Excellent chocolates, pralines to die for. And divine chocolate bars. Thank you for your work and for all this gourmet pleasure!

01/03/2024: Lovely store with a very kind and helpful saleswoman! The chocolates are very good. I highly recommend!
