02/05/2024: I showed up today, May 2, at the garden center checkout at 5:30 p.m., this Auchan Calais is becoming a real nonsense...... Already the last time I was invited to go to the quick checkout yuck, intervention by the cashiers result double manipulation at 1 p.m., I am told yes but at that time (there is a reboot) 3/4 hours blocked. today the cashier had to prepare a floral arrangement, Ditto..... A queue not possible , customers who ask for a cashier, and people who get angry, and they leave their Cady an impossible tension. I am surprised to see Auchan behave like this. Very sincerely I will think about changing direction regarding this Auchan Calais, anyway today 30 minutes with kilos on my arms (yes I had not planned to buy that much) I am really disappointed, no respect for the customer Yes I'm angry

24/09/2024: The dishes are tasteless, the mussels not cooked, the fries overcooked, the sole meunière burnt and the rice sticky and without any taste. They don't even know what it means to remove the fillets from a sole meunière. What a shame this restaurant is! They shame the profession. Nothing to do with the previous owner, Serge who knew how to cook so well.

28/09/2024: I recently discovered a restaurant that completely won me over. From the first dishes, presented in a mini casserole dish, I was amazed by the succulent flavors. Each bite revealed the know-how and passion of the restaurateur, which is felt at every moment. The welcome is exceptionally friendly, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere. As for wines, the selection is simply excellent, perfectly in harmony with the dishes. The value for money is impeccable, with generous portions that will satisfy even the most gourmands. Special mention for the homemade foie gras, absolutely crazy. It was delicious, melting. The blueberry-speculos gratin dessert ends the meal in style. Real explosions of flavors. This restaurant is a perfect example of those who take care of even the smallest details, and that makes all the difference. The hot plate? Amazing. THANKS. The decor is perfect with the setting. All these empty bottles seem to tell a story. A big congratulations for the energy and passion that shines through in every plate. Congratulations to the chef. The person, the boss, in the dining room was all alone, what courage to serve so many tables! To recommend without hesitation!

24/06/2024: Nous avons été très déçus, un risotto qui nous avait fait saliver sur le menu s'est révélé largement pas assez cuit. Il croquait sous les dents.... Quand, en plus, le chef nous fait dire que c'est normal car c'est pas lui qui l'a cuit.... sans proposer de refaire le plat.... ça dépasse l'entendement. Par contre la serveuse a été très bien.

The pitta sauce has a vanilla flavor. The tacos are super grilled. The music is very loud, it's hard to hear each other speak Food poisoning supplement, hospitalized for 3 days. No, I wouldn't even recommend it to my worst enemy!!! TO FLEE

29/06/2024: We went to the restaurant area, there must have been 4-5 other tables but we waited 1 hour 20 minutes to get our dishes. Some dishes were good (beef tataki), but others needed to be completely revised (lack of seasoning for the squid pasta), we had a commercial gesture on the desserts of people who had a problem with their dish. How can I say that they were happy not to pay for their dessert (really nothing special…). Thanks to the waiter who was very friendly. But unfortunately we will not come back.

06/08/2024: Very bad experience with the boss's son, who welcomed us like rubbish, openly disrespecting us in front of everyone. Not wanting to take our order because we take too long to order (5 minutes). I advise you to go down to the hut below, super pleasant and helpful as we like to receive when we come on vacation.

23/05/2024: I recommend this brasserie where I had lunch this afternoon. Welcoming and clean place (room and toilet). Top notch welcome, service and cuisine! The fried camembert was delicious. In addition, the prices are reasonable. A good address where I would be happy to return.

14/09/2024: Très bon ! Les plats sont servis très vite malgré le monde dans le restaurant. Les plats sont présentés de manière très élégantes, comme dans un restaurant gastronomique. Le poisson est très frais et les salades sont copieuses et très bonnes (surtout celle au chèvre miel). J'ai goûté en dessert la tarte citron meringuée en verrine. C'était présenté très joliment, et c'était très bon (un peu trop gros à mon goût, mais c'est seul reproche).

09/09/2024: Midden in het centrum van Calais ligt deze gelegenheid op een groot plein aan de voet van de oude vuurtoren. Restaurant is modern en smaakvol ingericht maar heeft één groot nadeel: er is maar 1 toilet voor zowel dames en heren. Dat is niet handig als je kijkt naar de capaciteit van het restaurant en van het grote terras. De sfeer is verder prima en het eten goed. Heerlijke coquilles en zalm gegeten met mooi wok garnering. De wijn was prima en niet duur. Op verzoek kaas als dessert gekregen terwijl het niet op de kaart staat als dessert maar wel als borrelplak. Voor 7 euro kregen we de hoeveelheid van de borrelplant. Heerlijk maar wel wat veel. De bediening is vriendelijk en snel. Kortom een leuke locatie en goed eten voor weinig geld.
