11/07/2025: We went to buy a loaf of bread last night. The bread had holes in it. We told the lady today, and she laughed right in my face. Not businesslike at all. 7 p.m. No more baguettes in that case, closed at 6:30 p.m. Not at 8 p.m. Disappointed, I won't be going back.

27/09/2024: Went there at lunchtime, had space, the service and the boss were very nice and friendly. Everything went well, despite the communication problem. Had lasagna for the day, very good and plentiful. Great

17/09/2024: We found ourselves with a football team, a waitress who was making eye contact with the cook (two errors in our account) and pans of mussels without juice, without flavor and without tasting pleasure. The only positive points: the bread and the wine. Restaurant not to frequent.

06/01/2026: Personally, I love it. The calf's liver is magnificent. It reminds me of when my grandmother used to make it for me... Thank you. Located in the city center. Family atmosphere. Don't hesitate to go in.

18/12/2025: We came to eat for two. We ordered a tartine and a hamburger without onions. The tartine, the ham, the bacon, and even the bun were all processed, as was the accompanying mayonnaise. The hamburger was full of onions, the steak was rare when I had asked for medium, and of course, the bottom bun was completely swimming in the fat from the cheddar cheese—very processed. Disastrous experience: the hamburger was inedible. The waitress informed the owner that we weren't satisfied, but it made no difference; he showed absolutely no interest. Furthermore, the owner doesn't even know how to fill out a meal receipt.

31/12/2025: we did have lunch in before the ferry to UK yesterday. 1. The mussel is so small , maybe due to over cooked, disappointed. Other food are fair, not impressive. 2.Only one waitress to serve 10 tables, she seems not happy and didn't serve properly. 3. Food waiting time is too long , around 45 mins, maybe they don't expect so many customer pop up.

27/12/2025: Christmas lunch on December 25th. We were generally very disappointed, especially considering our previous experiences there, particularly at Christmas 2024, which we had been very positive about. This year, the staff gave us a cold welcome, and the starter consisted of a small amount of cockles in a tiny ramekin with a lot of sauce. We had to ask for bread and were given a basket with one piece per person and one pat of butter for the table. The tournedos was acceptable, as was the monkfish, but nothing special. As for the Christmas dessert, the "gourmet trio" consisted of three poorly arranged, mass-produced pastries. For a €57 menu in a restaurant considered to be of good quality, one would expect better. We got the impression that the staff were bored working on Christmas Day. In that case, they shouldn't open... The choice of putting a large-screen TV in this type of restaurant is not very wise; background music would have been welcome.

18/01/2026: What a disappointment! The salads were presented very poorly. The ingredients really smelled cheap. The tomatoes were in very large chunks, tasteless, and the ham cubes were inedible due to the tough pieces inside. The warm goat cheese salad was the same—extremely disappointing for €19 😱. The plates were practically full when we left, and the feedback we gave to the waiter was not appreciated at all....

07/01/2026: Dine-in on New Year's Day... The meat was lukewarm, they forgot the vegetables (couscous), so the meat was cold, then they sent back lukewarm meat... They also forgot the drinks. What a shame. Lost customer.

26/09/2024: I went there to eat a pizza, really not great but passable. But when when paying we are asked to tip between 5 and 20% on the TPE, I find that unacceptable!

24/09/2024: A lively authentic French bar that does excellent Moules et frites. House red is very drinkable and at 8 euros for half a litre it's very reasonable. Not gourmet but good honest food with a great atmosphere and lovely, friendly staff. Would happily eat here again.

13/12/2025: We went there today for two 30-cent subs. The atmosphere was already lacking; it was almost as if we were bothering them, even though there was no one else in the Subway... The hygiene is also questionable. You take the food out of your hands, there are no utensils, nothing. Luckily, we don't have any allergies... We were served by a rather young man who only spoke briefly to ask what we wanted. We paid €25 for two sandwiches that were only half full... I won't be going back...

16/11/2025: I'm giving 5 stars because of the warm welcome from the owner and the receptionist, who were both incredibly kind. I visited with my three children, including my daughter who has a disability. It was a pleasant experience, even though it's a place with an 80s feel, as other reviews have mentioned. At least the staff are friendly, and I much prefer that to a luxury establishment with unpleasant staff, especially when you have a child with a disability. I recommend it. Saliha
