Everything is perfect: the wine list, the gourmet menu, the exquisite dishes, and the host's delicacy. 14/03/2026: Great 1st floor table with harbour views and food to die for, crispy crab, oysters, a small fresh crustaceans dish with half a lobster,and a scallop dish that exceeded expectations. When ever we’re in Calais this is our restaurant of choice.

11/03/2026: A huge disappointment at this restaurant. On a Sunday at lunchtime. We had to keep our coats on unless we mentioned it. No background music and quite noisy, far from a cozy atmosphere. No wine list offered, only wines by the glass. The service was very/too fast; we were asked, "How many minutes will it take for the next course?"... No dessert menu, just an audio listing of a rather limited selection. It seems that, being full of regulars, this restaurant pays little attention to new customers. The food was very good, but the service needs improvement.

26/03/2026: The casino has been completely renovated after major modernization work, the gaming room has been enlarged, and work is still underway on the restaurant and other entertainment venues.

07/04/2026: A fantastic spot with a Parisian bistro atmosphere and tasteful decor. The food is excellent from appetizer to dessert, as is the presentation. The service is impeccable, discreet, and quick. The window displays numerous badges: Gault & Millau, Michelin, Petit Futé, and my personal favorite, the Guide du Routard!

22/03/2026: First time here for a birthday, and we were pleasantly surprised. The aperitif was very generous, with a welcome starter. The dishes were of high quality for a very reasonable price. We will definitely return. Special mention to the young waiters and waitresses who run the restaurant expertly, with exceptional kindness. I highly recommend it!

08/03/2026: Amazing food. We arrived pretty late so we were only able to order mains, which were phenomenal, but thankfully that left some space for the stunning desserts.

14/03/2026: Truly high-quality (gastronomic) cuisine at an affordable price. You can go there without hesitation. I had the "Delight" menu with snails as a starter, cod loin as a main course, and crumble for dessert.

13/03/2026: A very disappointing experience. The service was incredibly slow. After being greeted and ordered immediately upon being seated, we had to wait and ask to have our order placed. The value for money was very poor; the plates were barely filled, but the chef explained that we hadn't ordered a starter... The promised window seat was in the middle of the room... In short, nothing was right.

24/03/2026: The view must be lovely when the fog isn't blowing, of course. The service was good. I had the €38 set menu, and what's really annoying is this habit of adding extra charges. In my case, the meat was €10. It was cooked as requested, but nothing exceptional. The purslane salad was supposed to be replaced with a small spinach salad. They don't warn you beforehand; you're presented with a fait accompli when it arrives. The salad was served on a nice plate, but it looked like it had been tossed onto it with a few croutons and a little vinaigrette. The scallops were an extra €7, and they really deserved a little sauce. The dessert was good, in my opinion. So, yes, it's not bad, and yes, there's a view if you're seated near the windows, but I won't be going back given the prices and the price adjustments, which I find excessive.

07/03/2026: ⚠️... It's a shame about this restaurant, which deserves so much more... It wasn't the location that bothered me, nor the fantastic view, nor the perfect food... no, it's simply the overpriced wine... especially when you order a bottle of white Gascony wine for 32 euros and realize that the barcode on the bottle matches that of a discount chain (Aldi, to name names...) and that this wine sells for 2.90 euros in stores. I understand that the restaurant makes a profit on alcohol, no problem, but to take a 30 euro markup on a bottle that's only worth 10 times less is really taking customers for fools. Poor foreign customers who won't even have the chance to realize this rip-off and won't be able to report it to the relevant authorities. It's a real shame...

11/03/2026: Note that the sweet crepe batter contains rum, they are still good though, the savory ones are excellent.
