12/07/2024: thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality yesterday afternoon. We thought that if the food, wine and hospitality were as good as our 2023 visit, we would have a wonderful lunch. Our lunch with you yesterday exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to plan our trip to France 2025 around lunch at Restaurant La Buissonnière.

10/07/2024: Young couple with a young child not always easy to manage during a meal in a restaurant. We were welcomed like kings at La Buissonnière in a setting with a strong personality. The cuisine is fine and colorful as is the decoration. We were passing through, we will return without a shadow of a doubt. THANKS

21/07/2024: Nous avions gardé un bon souvenir de notre première visite et nous n'avons pas été déçus de la seconde! Chouette resto, les assiettes sont qualitatives, l'ambiance très plaisante et le personnel sympathique. On y reviendra !

16/07/2024: Très bon restaurant au rapport qualité prix appréciable. Ce que j'appelle un semi gastronomique, c'est à dire un établissement possédant la qualité de cuisine gastronomique sans être élitiste et faire subir un prix trop haut. Cadre feutré et cossu style années 1930 très agréable. Service attentionné et professionnel. Tous les plats proposées sont tous réalisé avec une réelle note d'originalité, dénotant un authentique travail de création. Bravo ! Bref un très bon moment partagé. Nous y reviendrons

11/07/2024: Great food, the fish and seafood is fantastic we really enjoyed it, I had the seafood platter and my husband had the sole fish as mains and it was very well cooked and delicious. Leave some space for the dessert trolley at the end! Arnauld was the person taking care of us and he's very professional and very nice, he chose for us the wine which was also fantastic. They were also very accommodating as we arrived just about in time and we were the last to finish. Parking outside the restaurant was easy for us but not sure if it gets more crowded in the weekend or later in the summer months.

30/06/2024: Très bon restaurant et personnel très agréable, prix des menus le week end trop élevés pour le choix proposé par contre, le choix à la carte est meilleur donc beaucoup plus honéreux, 51 euros....rapport prix saveurs non équilibré

15/07/2024: A magnificent setting which gives you an extraordinary panorama of the Calais coastline. Regarding the restaurant, The room first, comfortable and spacious but the service.... No gesture of attention, "everything is going well" "do you need anything else", while our glasses were empty, perhaps because of a packed room. A head of establishment, more than familiar. Monsieur leans on the customers' benches, allows himself to be a little too intrusive in personal life. An aperitif, a starter, a main course, a dessert 142€ so yes it was listed in the Michelin. The quality of the food is very good, like the oysters that I recommend, as well as the foie gras. But the Angus steak was pitiful on a plate that was 4 times its size. In terms of taste, there are some nice searches but nothing that transported us. Maybe a little too demanding, but when we proudly display our stars, we expect to travel even though we stayed in Calais....

05/07/2024: This is our favourite Calais restaurant. Delicious, imaginative cooking, sensibly small and changing menu, fascinating wines which Eric will carefully match to your chosen dish. It has a lovely atmosphere - it's always been busy when we are there and the 'Complet' sign is generally in the window very soon after opening. I am still trying (unsuccessfully) to replicate the sauce in the fish nage we had last week. Yum!

01/07/2024: Soon at the Buffalo welcome to the little Indians soon for our loyal customers the menu the trapper's plate new formula a nuggets a slice of salami 12 fries (individually) and 2 peas all that for the damn sum 🥁🥁🥁🥁 of 86 euros since I was a teenager but they have a good back on covid and Ukraine for a little while I didn't come I came on Sunday a piece of meat less on the trapper's plate for 26 euros instead of 28 before there was bison and we could only eat it here at the buff du bison now apart from the fact that they serve us at tables but damn the service is very expensive in this case I find for a chain that the prices are more and more more expensive I tried again this weekend... it's over for me or if I win the Euromillions I might as well please someone who opens their restaurant it will be as good and even better price quality... The big boss from Buffalo must be as rich as Trump see more But very disappointed I went and my parents couldn't go and when I invite them we go to the champagne it's just as good and much cheaper and I posted a comment 10 months ago I came back since but it's getting worse and worse I think I'm coming less and less but I'm thinking of doing what my parents were able to go there and what menu can we recommend to people look at the prices before because the more you pay the less who's on the plate at buffalo

14/07/2024: Rapport qualité prix 0, cher et vraiment pas terrible… leurs prix sont au dessus de la qualité des plats qu’ils servent… Restaurant propre sans regarder les coins, araignée, toile, frite recuite, arnaque on peut choisir notre welsh la façon de le faire pour faire encaisser autre chose…

04/07/2024: Deux heures , pour un apéro ! Un plat et un dessert ! Nous avons montrer notre mécontentement au moment de payer trop long ! La patronne qui nous dit 110 couverts c est pour ça qu’il y avait de l attente ! Même pas un mot d excuse ! Habitués des lieux, nous n y retournerons pas de si tôt !
