The ambiance: The dining room is small and very cozy, creating an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. The service: Exceptionally attentive service and a warm welcome. The food: It's a true delight, a feast for the eyes and the palate. The presentation is as refined as the flavors. A must-visit if you're in the area!

19/04/2026: On our way from Luxembourg to Lyon, we stopped for the first time in Chalon-sur-Saône. The Bistrot offered us refined cuisine and discreet yet attentive service. The presentation and quality of the dishes, along with an enticing wine list, make this restaurant a must-visit.

12/03/2026: We made a reservation on a Saturday afternoon for the evening and were lucky enough to get a free table. So, it's advisable to reserve in advance, and rightly so. The food, ambiance, and service were all top-notch. Everything was creative and expertly prepared, and all at very fair prices. As one would expect in Burgundy, the wine selection was also good and reasonably priced for Burgundy standards. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful evening.

28/04/2026: What can I say about this fabulous place! We booked it for Saturday, April 25th for a bachelorette party. Everything was perfect: the flavors, the atmosphere, the food was fabulous. I recommend it 100%. The value for money is unbeatable. We left feeling so full we could burst! I highly recommend it; it's a welcome change from the tourist traps in the area. The waitress, who I think is the owner, is really lovely.

17/05/2026: A very good restaurant in Chalon. The food is truly delicious. The €25 set menu is unbeatable value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the staff were friendly. Only the wines by the glass were average.

19/05/2026: A great spot for lunch. The menu changes weekly and the offerings are always good. €21 for a starter, main course, and dessert. Excellent value for money with a lovely terrace and friendly service. Reservations recommended! Highly recommended!

13/05/2026: The lady at our hotel recommended we eat at the brasserie "Le Majorelle," and we weren't disappointed! In an Art Nouveau setting (the mirrors are magnificent), we enjoyed traditional, homemade cuisine! All this at a very good price, and with a very friendly waiter. We won't forget this place if we're ever back in the area!

08/12/2025: Thanks to some excellent recommendations, we stopped with friends for lunch at this traditional bistro, which is definitely worth a visit. We received a very warm and genuine welcome. The staff was efficient and professional, and the food was delicious. The service was well-organized. The photos of the dishes accurately reflect what's on the restaurant's website. A great place to remember.

16/03/2026: Having family in Chalon-sur-Saône, we regularly come to this restaurant because the manager is so friendly. He always takes the time to chat with us. In addition, the menu is homemade from appetizer to dessert, using fresh, seasonal ingredients. He always accommodates my vegetarian needs by creating a special menu for me, which I greatly appreciate. There's always an excellent local wine to complement the meal. It's a restaurant I highly recommend.
