10/09/2026: For a while now, the quality of service and orders has been deplorable. While dining in, you can sometimes be spared and even have pleasant surprises at the end of the evening with generous ice creams, but when ordering takeout, requests are completely ignored: items are forgotten (drinks and milkshakes), and fries aren't even filled... The person at the counter is moody and doesn't seem to know where they are, and several times, on weeknights, I've had to wait 40 minutes in a "fast-food" place for a measly Happy Meal. It's a shame, especially considering the competition that manages to do so much better!

16/03/2026: We went to eat at this restaurant on Monday at lunchtime, the three of us. The manager is friendly and very professional. The chef caters to vegetarians (I was even given a special menu just for me), which I really appreciated. Everything was delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert. Homemade with fresh ingredients, and it shows. The lemon cake is divine. I highly recommend this restaurant.

14/08/2026: Fantastic restaurant right in the old center of Chalon-sur-Saône, had a fantastic meal, also great with children, and the price-quality ratio is almost too good to be true. We will definitely be back next year 👌🏻

08/08/2026: Disappointed. We came with friends to enjoy the lovely location on the cathedral square. We were looking forward to dinner… The salad had no dressing and no flavor… As for dessert, no ice cream in this heat, supposedly because it takes too long… but a selection of cakes not suited to summer. The waiter was friendly, but we won't be back…

08/09/2026: A truly unacceptable experience. I was in town with my niece when she accidentally spilled chocolate on her hands and face. We went into this establishment simply to ask if we could use the sink for a few moments to clean her up. Instead of showing even a modicum of understanding towards a child who needed to clean herself, we were met with a very poor reception and refused service because we hadn't bought ice cream from their bar. I can understand that an establishment might not want to make its restrooms available to everyone, but the way they spoke to customers and, above all, the lack of consideration in such a simple situation is truly regrettable. We weren't asking for anything complicated, just a few seconds to allow a child to clean herself up. A little courtesy and consideration wouldn't have cost anything. A very bad experience. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.
