06/09/2024: We have been testing good places in the city center for several years with colleagues for our midday lunches, it was a great discovery at the Bistrot des Gourmets. The price is very reasonable - starter, main course, dessert, drink at 24 euros - for homemade food and an uncompromising presentation. We will come back for sure.

04/11/2024: Fidèle cliente depuis 16 ans à ce restaurant (nombreux avis élogieux déposés),cela fait 2 fois de suite que nous sommes déçus ...la dernière fois je ne l'ai pas signalé mais là je m'exprime... Déçue par l'accueil de la serveuse qui lorsque je lui ai demandé quels cocktails comme mojito,spritz il était possible d'avoir,elle m'a montré du doigt la petite carte posée sur un support sur la table,sans un mot...Sur cette carte,il n'y a que 3 cocktails et j'ai déjà bu un Spritz ici qui n'apparait nulle part... J'ai donc pris une sangria curacao, très banale... Heureusement,nous nous sommes régalés avec l'incontournable caquelon... Ensuite,nous avions commandé 2 pavés Rossini bleus et 1 sauce béarnaise saignant...Les 2 pavés bleus sont arrivés entre à point et saignant...et celui commandé saignant est arrivé bleu...Ma fille a renvoyé son pavé pour avoir un vrai bleu,celui rapporté était encore + cuit que le 1er...Le dessert était parfait... Je comprends mieux cette descente progressive dans le classement...entre les prix qui augmentent , les accompagnements qui disparaissent,les cuissons non respectées...Nous venons exprès d'Alençon (+ de 100 km aller/retour+ péage) mais là nous ne reviendrons plus exprès...nous tenterons peut être si nous allons au Mans mais ce n'est pas sur... dommage après tant d'années à nous régaler...

06/09/2024: Un vrai bonheur ! Tout est parfait ! L'accueil... le service... la carte ... vraiment c'est l'endroit parfait pour sortir de chez soi . Une excellente découverte dans un cadre charmant chargé d'histoire en plein cœur du Mans. Bravo à l'équipe d'accueil !

23/08/2024: Our experience was a complete disconnect with this restaurants reputation and cliental. The place was packed with diners queuing to get in. Clearly its one of the desired spots in Le Mans. We are experienced diners particularly in France. And yet .... this was simply a dreadful meal. Every course failed on taste and presentation. The reality for me was prepared sous vide meat, oven chips and packet salad, and no, compared to other meals we had in France this July, not good value. Especially if you cant finish it. I'm sorry I know good food and this certainly wasn't it. For us as a family, it is a complete mystery as to why this place is so popular. Avoid.

14/12/2024: An address where you have to hurry to go to enjoy fabulous cuisine, worthy of a starred restaurant. Let yourself be surprised by the tasting menu at a more than reasonable price. The quality of yesteryear with adorable and very professional service. One of the best restaurants I've eaten at, and I'm a foodie! Thank you for this evening which delighted the whole family, all very good cooks. Congratulations to the chef and the whole team!

18/10/2024: We are offered to have an aperitif ok we ask for the card to have a drink, we are told that there is no card, you just have to ask me I have everything in my head however no price we blind order we scan the QR code on a table and there are not all the prices, it's average🤔 A hamburger (very good) and a glass of rosé 20€50

13/10/2024: Very good restaurant for lunch. The daily specials are always well seasoned. Possibility of falling back on burgers as there are no more daily specials. The only downside, the room is quite noisy when there are people and there are often people because it is very good!!

02/09/2024: We have already come several times, at lunchtime as well as in the evening and it is always a real pleasure. The staff is very friendly, smiling and friendly and the cuisine is refined. The general atmosphere is chic but relaxed, it is a real pleasure to spend an evening at the Grenier à sel as a couple, with friends or family.

Dès l'entrée, on est accueilli avec chaleur par le patron avec élégance, dans un cadre raffiné et authentique. Le service est impeccable, à la fois attentionné et discret, mettant en valeur la cuisine d'une finesse incroyable. Chaque plat est un délice pour les sens, des saveurs parfaitement équilibrées, des produits d'une qualité irréprochable et une présentation digne d'un grand chef. La carte des vins, riche et variée, accompagne à merveille les mets proposés. Un endroit où l'on se sent choyé et où l'on a envie de revenir encore et encore. Si vous recherchez une véritable restaurent pour vos repas de famille ou boulot , ne cherchez plus, c'est ici qu'il faut venir !

06/09/2024: We visited here on a Tuesday night and it wasn't very busy. The service was very good and friendly. We ate from the set menu and the food was good. The set menu was good value and the drinks were reasonable. Would visit again if in the area.
