20/11/2025: A fantastic time at this restaurant! This was our second visit and we're still not disappointed! Our group of 11 was perfect for having a wonderful time! All the dishes were surprising, full of subtlety and balance, and you can tell there's real creativity involved. Thank you for the birthday cake made by the pastry chef, which was also perfect. The menu is excellent value for money! They have a great wine and whisky list! The waitstaff is very professional and attentive. We had a wonderful evening. A big thank you to the whole team!

18/02/2026: Passing through Le Mans, we had dinner here, one of the few restaurants open on Monday evenings. We had a very pleasant time, from the warm welcome by the very friendly owners to the delicious and generous portions. The food was high quality and reasonably priced. Highly recommended; we will definitely return.

30/10/2025: We had a wonderful time during our lunch for two. From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome: the staff were friendly and professional, which immediately put us at ease. The setting is pleasant, calm, and well-maintained—perfect for a romantic meal or a delicious midday break. A great place that I highly recommend for a successful weekday lunch, combining a warm welcome, a pleasant atmosphere, and delicious food.

02/01/2026: Almost daily, I go to "Les Tontons," which has gradually become "My headquarters"!!! I stay for about two and a half hours each time, at the bar, and regularly in the restaurant, with friends. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and we're all on a first-name basis—Stevens (the owner), the waitresses, and me. The food is excellent and plentiful. The decor is simple but tasteful. The waitresses are very friendly, both at the bar, where Alizé works and prepares drink orders for the dining room (you need an amazing memory, often with four colleagues in the dining room, and the owner also serving!!!), and in the dining room, where Loetitia, Morgan, Maelle, and Laurine busily manage the numerous tables (150 covers possible). In short, a great place to be!!! Thank you all (don't forget the chef and his assistants). Since this review, I've witnessed scenes where people are completely lacking in manners. They walk in, as if it's a free-for-all, and go straight to the restroom, of course, without even ordering a glass of mineral water! This attitude speaks volumes about the indifference of some people who think they can get away with anything, and who are then surprised when someone points it out and refuses them entry! "Les Tontons" is a restaurant, not a public urinal! At my parents' brasserie, this kind of behavior earned its perpetrators a bucket of ice water down their underwear, to the laughter of the customers, including police officers, and believe me, they weren't going to "file a complaint," because the police would throw them out!

30/01/2026: We had a wonderful time. We opted for the four-course tasting menu (reasonably priced with two glasses of wine included) and what a pleasant surprise! Everything was perfect from start to finish, with excellent flavor combinations, delicious sauces, and an original dessert! A fantastic restaurant in Le Mans; we'll definitely be back!

04/03/2026: A superb Valentine's Day! The service was excellent and the food delicious. Special mention goes to the French toast: a pure delight, melt-in-your-mouth and perfectly caramelized. A perfect ending to a wonderful evening.

17/02/2026: A very good restaurant, which we discovered for Valentine's Day. The ingredients are high quality and almost all the meats are of French origin. Nice wine selection. We will gladly return.

20/11/2025: St Gilles was a great find for our team while we were in Le Mans scouting a few shops. We stopped there for lunch and were truly impressed: a warm welcome, a relaxed atmosphere, and very friendly service. The dishes were fresh, generous, and full of flavor, beautifully presented, and served without too much of a wait (perfect for us in the middle of a busy workday). You can tell it's a genuine local spot, not a tourist trap. I highly recommend St Gilles if you're in this part of Le Mans – ideal for a tasty and unpretentious lunch during a busy day in the city. We'll definitely be back on our next visit.

13/10/2025: Incredible St. Gilles steak with its delicious cheddar sauce, a very nice surprise, and the dessert is also very, very good, the pear and chocolate cup is generous. Simple homemade cuisine, very good.

06/12/2025: Excellent lunch in my helmet during my visit to the circuit. Smoked salmon bruschetta with citrus, pollack with beurre blanc sauce (perfectly cooked), tiramisu. Simple but well prepared.
