10/07/2026: All-you-can-eat mussels and fries! Once seated, we discovered the fries were extra. The sign advertising all-you-can-eat mussels and fries had been removed between our arrival and when we asked to confirm it was still unlimited. "No, no," they told us. Luckily, the photo taken beforehand clearly showed the deception. The beer we ordered was only served after we asked again. There was a problem with the mussel service; we were stuck between the other tables, the glass roof amplified the heat, and the swarm of flies attracted by the mussels. As a result, we didn't get dessert, and when it came time to pay, they pointed out that we hadn't been charged for the extra fries, which were delivered in small quantities. "Sorry, we hope it will be better next time." There won't be a next time, that's for sure. The children were happy to come home and eat some delicious ice cream! "Oh no, only the mussels are all-you-can-eat!" "You're the first to point that out to us." This is all dishonest. Thanks to my wife for taking the photo clearly showing the planned meal: UNLIMITED MUSSELS AND FRIES. Poor kid, he just passed his exams with honors, honestly, he didn't deserve this! AVOID AT ALL COSTS, as long as this bad faith persists.

09/07/2026: Having known the Globe for some time, and knowing Stéphanie and Sylvain, they are great bosses and their staff are very pleasant, including in the kitchen. I recommend that customers come and spend a good evening at the Globe.

04/07/2026: A delicious meal...but an interminable wait...an hour between the starter and the main course...we had been forgotten...not even a small gesture of goodwill...half-hearted apologies...a shame...but kudos to the cooks, it was still delicious.

24/05/2026: The service was truly warm and friendly, which is important to me. The meat and foie gras were very good and plentiful. However, the bread served with the foie gras was a major disappointment; it was really quite bad, rubbery, and didn't seem very fresh. I sincerely hope this is addressed, as it detracts from the overall quality of the dish.

16/05/2026: A little gem tucked away on a street corner in the Plantagenet district of Le Mans. The welcome is very friendly, the decor quite historic with its engravings, tapestries, and interior architecture: fireplace, beautiful stonework, and French-style ceilings. The set menu is an unbeatable €20 for a starter, main course, and dessert. The ingredients are high quality, and you can tell it's homemade. Kudos to the owners for this excellent offering. Top-notch value for money and quantity for price.

26/04/2026: A warm welcome for a Sunday evening out of town for two. Traditional cuisine in a very pleasant setting, service with a smile. It was very good, reasonably priced, I recommend it.

01/07/2026: Excellent, homemade appetizer buffet with a good selection and high quality! The main course was very good and the portions were perfect. The waitress was very pleasant. The restrooms were clean. The value for money was excellent, even during Le Mans Classic week with no price increase.

22/05/2026: Based on the photos, we were expecting a less dated interior. But anyway, that's not the most important thing. The service was absolutely impeccable, professional, perfect. However, the problems started: We arrived at 7:30 pm at 3 pm. There were two tables for two, one of which had already had its appetizers finished. We ordered cocktails. And then: foie gras! The menu listed foie gras, side dishes, etc. It was PAN-SEARED foie gras, and this wasn't mentioned at all!!! We don't particularly like it, so it was a huge disappointment. THIS SHOULD BE INDICATED! And then what? In total, we had an aperitif and a starter in 2 hours. The small restaurant filled up. They served starters to everyone. And we didn't get our main course until 9:30 PM. TWO HOURS for the main course! Not exceptional, okay, in short, nothing special. Dessert: cheese, obviously that goes quickly. So, 7:30 PM / 10:20 PM, almost 3 hours, that's way too long. If you come with children, even 8 or 9 years old, for Grandma's birthday, it would be hell. So, for us, disappointed, LOOOOOOONG, and in the end, meh. For €220 for 3 people, no thanks.

03/07/2026: Excellent lunch at Bistrot des Gourmets. The set menu (starter, main course, dessert) was delicious. I loved the melon, watermelon, and tomato carpaccio: a refreshing summer starter! The staff was very welcoming, and the restaurant's dining room was beautifully renovated a few months ago.

27/06/2026: Excellent service! We were served by Ambroise, a very friendly, professional, smiling, and helpful young man. The food was delicious; a great place to eat!
