14/04/2026: Friendly welcome. Efficient service. Excellent location opposite the town hall. The meal was superb, the homemade fries perfectly crispy. The rillettes stuffed with foie gras were to die for. The prices are reasonable. A great experience! The owner is very friendly, but he's selling and retiring this week. All the reviews will have to be restarted from scratch next week ;-/.

25/04/2026: A disappointment, as I used to love this restaurant. The starter was very good, but the main course was nothing like it used to be. There was no taste, even with the Roquefort sauce. The mashed potatoes were bad; I didn't find the taste of their sublime mashed potatoes. And on top of that, the presentation wasn't pretty. In short, I won't be returning because even the setting isn't what it used to be. What a shame.

11/04/2026: Excellent restaurant, discovered thanks to a friend. The waiter's presentation really helps with choosing (but it's a tough choice!), the service is quick and impeccable. The portions are generous and the price is reasonable. I highly recommend it. Just one small drawback: the opening hours and days (only lunchtimes on weekdays). It's great for the staff, but less so for the customers 😅 I'll be back as soon as I can.

22/03/2026: Passing through Le Mans, we returned to O Comptoir des Cocottes for the second time. I had a Landes salad, which was very good, but I was a little disappointed by the foie gras, which was undercooked and too pink for my taste. Otherwise, no complaints, impeccable service and very friendly staff.
