25/06/2026: €11 = Tasteless and poorly filled tacos.
The meat was defrosted and undercooked (mushy tenders that weren't crispy at all). The sour cream was lumpy with a bitter taste, and the sauce... nonexistent.
I couldn't finish it; I was very hungry, but the taco gave me a stomach ache.
05/06/2026: The service is awful. They barely respond to greetings, as if they're trying to get rid of you.
The kitchen is unhygienic, with a cook spitting and a server who wasn't even aware of who it was.
Their tacos have no flavor.

01/08/2026: I strongly advise against this place; the staff are very intrusive and unfriendly, and there is a long wait for a beer and a cocktail even if there are only 2 of you for 4 servers.
17/07/2026: Very good sorbets.
The way Bistrot du Palais operates has become incomprehensible, as it keeps its old main entrance closed, forcing customers to take a long detour inside to reach tables facing Rue Favre.
This company, which also manages Café de l'Horloge and O'Cardinal, seems to be focusing solely on a decent decor and location.
Since the manager is almost never there, and avoids customers when she is, patrons only deal with servers who take no responsibility and, with a few exceptions, don't stay long.

15/02/2026: My husband and I came for our second Valentine's Day.
It was a truly delightful experience, filled with sweetness, flavor, and generosity.
As we were leaving, the manager told us we were the last customers before the restaurant closed.
This touched us deeply and I think it will stay with us for a very long time. Thank you to this restaurant for making this dinner such a wonderful memory. 🙌
And a special mention to the owners: you managed to convey your generosity and love through the food and the memories we will cherish. 🩷
04/02/2026: Flexible regarding arrival time (we informed them of our delay and the manager didn't hold it against us). Charming, rather intimate setting. Quick and efficient service.
Good food but relatively expensive. Value for money 3/5. Friendly welcome. Clean restrooms. Extensive wine list. We had a pleasant time.

We'd been here before, and it was great, but it's changed a lot.
€20 for a Caesar salad, with just lettuce, four tiny pieces of chicken, a single sad egg, and four cherry tomatoes cut in half... it's pathetic. Far too expensive for what was on the plate.
19/05/2026: I had just arrived on the terrace when the owner started staring at me intently. I felt uncomfortable. When I simply asked for a glass of water, he made me repeat myself several times in a mocking tone. Then he spoke to me very rudely, acting like he had the right to speak to me. He thinks he's the king, but first, it would be better if he took a skills assessment to remain the owner.

The bar was overwhelmed and swamped... We arrived at 1:15 PM, 2:40 PM... Still waiting...
Once the waiter told us (No more chicken!!!)
We ordered a dish...
In short!
...I absolutely do not recommend this place...
24/07/2026: We had lunch there when the Tour de France passed through Chambéry. Located right in the city center on a pedestrian street. Friendly staff. Classic cuisine.

16/04/2026: Very satisfied with the food, served quickly and hot! However, a major disappointment with Mirlinda at the register who took all my details to create my loyalty account and then swiped her own card! That's not cool...
I'll still come back, but I'll create my account beforehand!
16/04/2026: I just picked up a Too Good To Go order. The employee wasn't friendly or communicative. The basket I received left me perplexed and disappointed by the quality, quantity, lack of variety, and presentation—a tuna-stuffed tomato upside down...in short, shameful. I won't be back.

25/01/2026: The worst bar in Chambéry! The staff are incredibly rude, no greeting, no thank you, no human warmth whatsoever. Orders are taken 30 minutes after we arrive. And all this for the price of a coffee and a hot chocolate…!!! Avoid at all costs.

13/06/2026: Friendly welcome and service. Large terrace with shade in the morning. The dining room was noisy, but not a problem.
16/04/2026: Friday marked our second visit to Boutique Folliet, and we were just as impressed as before. The shop is lovely, and the service was excellent. The person who helped us was clearly passionate; without her, we would have been completely lost in the vast selection! Despite a slight wait, the tea and coffee they suggested were exceptional. A fantastic find!

Situé en Zac mais une fois à l intérieur : jolie deco et coin terrasse
Personnel efficace
03/08/2024: Restaurant très agréable entre amis et en famille repas avec des produits frais (ne pas y aller trop souvent car la carte ne change pas beaucoup et on a vite fait le tour mais c’est normal car produits selon saisons).
Le seul bémol à mon goût est le fait que les tables soient un peu serrées donc en famille et entre amis pas gênant mais c’est vrai que si on recherche l’intimité pour un couple c’est différent. Les tarifs sont raisonnables.
L’intérieur est lumineux la décoration est reposante il y a une terrasse. On y mange bien et les saveurs sont variées. Je recommande
