We preferred to stop there and turn around even though we had reserved.
At this rate, another door that we will soon see closed! You don't have to wonder why!

Meal arrived with more than an hour of waiting, menu offered but nothing in stock, no other choice than a lamb chop with fries, meat not cooked properly, catastrophic presentation, outdated and deplorable service, really a sandwich from a bakery would have been much more appreciated,... I don't understand the good comments that have been received.

21/09/2024: On the 1st floor a clear view of the sea is precious. The dish of the day was plentiful and good. I recommend seafood. The waitresses are efficient and give good advice.
14/09/2024: We arrived here by chance when we came to see the sunset because the terrace looked nice and what a nice surprise!
Top notch team and service, super friendly, modern decor and the cocktails (the house planter and the caipirina) were very good! The cheese plate was plentiful and we are waiting for the second round of drinks.
We highly recommend!

30/11/2025: Really fantastic. Rooms are simple but spotlessly clean and the bed is seriously comfortable. Tick. We paid for breakfast after waking up at 6am with jet lag and it was amazing! Simple, but fresh and lots of local produce - one of the best buffets in years…sorry for eating the whole of that small dark rye and grain loaf!
If you’re arriving by train, this is very convenient (100m walk) and the funky docks area is a 5 min walk. Two supermarkets within 300m and the tram to the beach is similar.
If you come to Le Havre for the first time, and the weather is ok, throw on your walking shoes and just explore through the old streets for a few hours… keep heading up the hill and you’ll be rewarded with views of a friendly, honest and very historic city.
The staff at the Novotel are amazing too - a real credit to the hotel. We will be back!

Nice atmosphere as before, service always at the top. quick for orders, attentive and professional staff. no need to ask for bread if the basket is empty, they keep an eye out during lunch so that we don't have to ask, the same goes for drinks (it may seem normal and innocuous but rarely the case elsewhere). Really reasonable prices. In short, I recommend

Madame Tartarin, in charge of the room, knew how to combine competence and kindness. The sommelier, for his part, did not fail to provide wise advice, and the maître d' always found the right words for each situation. As far as the dishes were concerned, it was faultless: the lobster, impeccably cooked, the reinvented langoustine and the mackerel, cooked simply incredible, were among the best gastronomic dishes we had tasted in recent years. recent months. The monkfish, cooked at low temperature, was perfectly pearly, and the sweetbreads were perfectly executed. Finally, the desserts were remarkable, between the light and crispy millefeuille, and the strawberry variation. A flawless meal, for which we warmly thank the entire team for this wonderful time. 🍽️👏
