19/09/2026: We came as a family for a wedding anniversary, we were warmly welcomed by the owner and the waiter, we will come back and I recommend this restaurant.

06/08/2026: Excellent experience with the €35 set menu. Whether it was the andouillette sausage, the veal escalope, the pineapple cake, or the chocolate shortbread, everything was beautifully presented, original, and delicious. The service was both efficient and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed (a large table was set up in the enclosed veranda). The price (€116 for two, including aperitifs and a bottle of wine) was reasonable. Reservations are recommended.

31/08/2026: One of the best dining experiences I've had in France. If I had to use just one word to describe it, it would be excellent. The service was truly exceptional, which is why I'm putting it first. The staff were incredibly pleasant, warm, attentive, and efficient. The food was truly excellent, with generous portions. Real French cuisine. The value for money is very, very good. The restaurant's atmosphere is also very pleasant. There was a small error with our starter order, and even though it was just a short wait of a few minutes (which wasn't a problem at all), they offered us complimentary coffees to make up for it. Nothing more to add except that it was truly excellent from start to finish. If you're in Le Havre or passing through, I absolutely recommend dining at Diplodocus.

29/08/2026: A very positive discovery today; the owner and waiter were very pleasant and smiling. The food is homemade and delicious. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. Furthermore, the service is quick. Affordable prices for this quality.

17/09/2026: A must-visit bookstore in Le Havre with a wide selection, expert advice, a children's section, and comics. Everything for schoolchildren and students. A small café area. A program of events with authors that are a must in Le Havre. A treat for all book and culture lovers.

10/09/2026: We came on Saturday evening with the little children, great! 🤗 We were delighted.

04/09/2026: Loved our galettes and crepe. Waitress didn't speak any English (it is France, I know) but we worked to communicate. We had cider - brut, or dry. I'm assuming the other type was sweet. I had the house galette, which included an egg, cheese, onions, smoked sausage and bacon. My husband had carbonara. Essentially the sauce for carbonara minus the pasta but with an egg. Then a crepes suzzette for dessert. All 3 were great and will be inspiration for our future crepes at home. Highly recommend (whether you speak English or not. We found the door difficult to find. On the left facing the restaurant to the right of the apartment door.

23/08/2026: A very good restaurant, simple but with excellent food. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The owner is very friendly and perfectly caters to your tastes and preferences. We will definitely return.

21/09/2026: The MUMA is an excellent museum that I highly recommend you visit. Its collection of Impressionist paintings is vast thanks to numerous bequests from artists such as Eugène Boudin, Raoul Dufy, and Monet, and because many artists painted here in Le Havre. It has two floors (the permanent collection is upstairs) and a restaurant, in addition to the gift shop. The temporary exhibitions, which run for about six months, are extraordinary. Currently, there's a Monet exhibition running until September 27, 2026. Unlike in Paris, there's no need to buy tickets in advance. Admission is free on the first Saturday of each month.
