13/09/2024: Very atmospheric restaurant designed with attention to detail. The dishes and menus are presented on a slate board. We enjoyed the food excellently, as did the Chablis that we drank with it. The very friendly service had a lot to do and didn't show the stress. We would like to have another colleague to support her.
An all-round successful visit to the restaurant.

14/01/2025: We stayed one night at the hotel with family. Our room was spacious, very clean and tastefully decorated. No noise during the night so slept very well especially as the bedding is very comfortable. The breakfast is also varied and pleasant. Ideally located in the city center. Haven't tried the restaurant but it seems very good :)
09/01/2025: Located close to train station with nice view of basilica. Owners are very kind and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were good.

A super nice and warm boss who knows how to welcome customers. The dishes are copious and succulent with careful presentation.
We were there last night with our Quebec friend who was staying in the region. The boss will recognize us if he reads these few lines.
A memorable evening and a meal that left its mark on us.
We will come back with great pleasure as soon as the opportunity arises.
A big thank you for this pleasant and delicious moment.

Avril Williams Guest House and Tea Rooms

22/08/2024: Had the most wonderful stay at Avril’s. If you’re looking to explore the Somme this is the best place to stay. They have the most amazing collection in the museum and the welcome is like being home from home. Wish we had stayed for longer, we will definitely be back and hope to not leave it another 30 years! Could not recommend enough!!!
19/08/2024: Visited as we saw online that there was an WW1 excavated trench on site.
It was amazing and really interesting. We had lunch and drinks. A great menu in english. We are vegetarian and had struggled to find food on the trip. We ate well here. Beautiful surroundings with chickens and birds. Would recommend.

03/09/2024: Restaurant situé sur le parking de Auchan. La déco est vintage et disparaître.. sauf en terrasse.. l'accueil est simple mais sympa. La carte est bien achalandée et on y sert des plats locaux.
C'est plus un restaurant pour les gens du coin que pour les touristes mais nous cela nous va. Nous avons choisi un filet de poisson garni pommes de terre et salade ainsi qu'une ficelle picarde frites salade.. nous avons été servis rapidement et les plats étaient bons...

06/09/2024: Le lieu est sympa mais mériterait un ménage un peu plus approfondie.
La nourriture est correcte mais attention le descriptif des plats n'est pas très précis, vous pouvez avoir des mauvaises surprises.
Il y a des plats locaux et des plus classiques, donc pour tout les goûts.
Les prix sont à mon avis trop élevés.
Service assez long vu le peu de personnes en salle.
15/08/2024: Rien d'exceptionnel ! Pas d'amuse bouche ou de cacahuètes avec l'apéritif. Les moules étaient certes corrects mais le cabillaud sans saveur, à n'en pas douter surgelé, nageait dans la sauce, une bande de pommes de terre style gratin, 1 fine asperge, 1 rondelle de carotte, 2 champignons se battant en duel... quel dommage !

25/09/2024: Resto qui ne paie pas de mine un peu à l’écart, on a l’impression d’aller manger chez un pote.
Cuisine excellente avec des plats de tous les jours mais avec le truc du Chef, bel accueil et les prix sont abordables.
Donc si vous voulez bien manger, du frais et pour pas trop cher, c’est là-bas qu’il faut aller !

15/02/2024: Nothing to complain about because we enjoyed ourselves. Thanks to the owners because the welcome, the atmosphere and the meal were top notch. I recommend it to you with your eyes closed. And what's more, great value for money. A treat like I had not experienced for a long time. Passing through the homemade fries cooked in beef fat which gives them this unique taste and the beef which was delicious.
In short, go for it 👍
