15/02/2024: Nothing to complain about because we enjoyed ourselves. Thanks to the owners because the welcome, the atmosphere and the meal were top notch. I recommend it to you with your eyes closed. And what's more, great value for money. A treat like I had not experienced for a long time. Passing through the homemade fries cooked in beef fat which gives them this unique taste and the beef which was delicious.
In short, go for it 👍

12/05/2024: For a surprise it was a Mega SURPRISE 😲 😲 😲 😲 Arriving by chance in front of the storefront we were 6 adults, very very warm welcome and what can we say about the plates..... Simply sublime taste. I highly recommend this address

22/08/2024: Had the most wonderful stay at Avril’s. If you’re looking to explore the Somme this is the best place to stay. They have the most amazing collection in the museum and the welcome is like being home from home. Wish we had stayed for longer, we will definitely be back and hope to not leave it another 30 years! Could not recommend enough!!!
19/08/2024: Visited as we saw online that there was an WW1 excavated trench on site.
It was amazing and really interesting. We had lunch and drinks. A great menu in english. We are vegetarian and had struggled to find food on the trip. We ate well here. Beautiful surroundings with chickens and birds. Would recommend.

17/09/2024: After several visits to "Les Gâteaux de Margot", I would like to congratulate this pastry shop for what it offers. The pastries are just right, not too sweet. The different textures in a pastry highlight each product and allow you to have a great experience. I would also like to highlight the aesthetics of the pastries which makes you want to taste them all.

A super nice and warm boss who knows how to welcome customers. The dishes are copious and succulent with careful presentation.
We were there last night with our Quebec friend who was staying in the region. The boss will recognize us if he reads these few lines.
A memorable evening and a meal that left its mark on us.
We will come back with great pleasure as soon as the opportunity arises.
A big thank you for this pleasant and delicious moment.

09/09/2024: Called in without booking - were greeted with no words or smiles. They pushed two tables together and left us.
Menu looked ok but it was three courses don’t expect sandwiches…..we waited.
We were the only English in the busy restaurant, people coming in after us were greeted,.,.seated and orders taken.
After 25 minutes we had been ignored to the extent we hadn’t even ordered drinks or received acknowledgment from staff when we tried to get their attention.
Thus we got up and left. We are a mature group in our 50s and 60s who visit the area religiously every year.
We left feeling deflated, more so we felt we weren’t wanted.

25/06/2024: Nous avons déjeuné dans ce restaurant un bon accueil cependant des commandes pas servies nous avons dû réclamer 2 fois et pour finir nous sommes parti sans manger de dessert car nous n’avions plus le temps.
2h pour 2 entrées et 1 plat.
Dommage car le cadre est joli.
25/06/2024: Very beautiful setting. We slept in a small room. The bathroom is cramped but practical. We slept well because the rooms are well soundproofed and the bedding is comfortable. The hotel is close to the sea and has several activities on offer. Swimming pool, bowling green, tennis court and bicycle rental. The restaurant is very well laid out. The tables are well spaced. The chef offers delicious and very well presented dishes. Finally we were very well received and the staff are very helpful.

We recommend the maxi truffle croque: a treat that is a real delight. And for those who want to be more careful: the mosta salad: excellent! The service is impeccable. A gem in Amiens.

01/09/2024: Arriving there after reservation, we waited 1h30 to get the drinks list and the menu. Dishes ordered, tough meat, without the desired garnish but Welsh rather good for Mr. A real disappointment.
27/08/2024: The burgers from Marie’s are always very well served and the bread is excellent. I always enjoy it! Very good value for money, I recommend.
