17/09/2024: O ambiente de mesas no jardim, sob a copa de uma grande árvore iluminada, é lindo. O atendimento é ótimo e a comida, perfeita. Os pratos não são baratos, mas têm preços justos. Se você quer fugir das armadilhas para turistas em St. Tropez e ter uma noite linda, com comida francesa de verdade, este é o lugar. O peito de pato na brasa é imperdível!

12/09/2024: Dîner en terrasse, dommage que le temps n etait pas de la partie, il faisait frais du au mistral. L accueil est correcte, le décors et le dressage des tables sont très bien. Le service est rapide et le personnel est sympa. Les plats sont copieux, la cuisine est classique mais bonne.

17/09/2024: Ubicato nella parte antica di Saint Ttopez, a pochi passi dalla Chiesa della.Madonna Assunta, La Bagatelle si caratterizza per una location unica, a due passi dal porto, ma comunque defilata dagli altri ristoranti "turistici", un servizio eccellente, ottimo cibo e vino con un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.

10/09/2024: Nous nous sommes arrêté manger un morceau avant d'aller se balader dans St-Tropez. Cuisine maison et copieuse; formule déjeuner entrée+plat+dessert+boisson pour 23€. Les personnes qui tiennent l'établissement sont authentique et plein de bonne humeur, à l'image de leur cuisine. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

We appreciated the welcome and lucidity of the boss. Making good food at a fair price for everyone. We really enjoyed this moment. Quality products I call back and welcome at the appointment. 23/09/2024: I rarely criticize the cooking profession and their establishment except when it shames the profession and that was the case. €33.50 a tuna tartare and salad. Not only tasteless but flaccid, very far from the photos shown and above all dipping in a kind of sauce with pieces of avocado found who knows where. Impossible to make this tartare fit in a circle. YES you might think it was a bad film. YES it was not Stephane Avelin who was in charge but one could believe that it was one of his seconds but I would lean more towards a first year apprentice wanting not to do this noble profession. A great chef masters his cooking even when he is not present, but here we are so far from all the standards. A shame for the profession and I think that if he had been in my place with the strength of his character as a client it would not have merited paying the bill because the price was still so high for him. So Mr. “the boss” get off your pedestal and respect your job or buy from Leclerc they do much better. A shame also to the Gault et Millau guide which does not verify this type of aberration which is the cause of the bad image of our profession. YES Mr. Chef I had a restaurant and I might as well tell you that each of my words is measured when I say that it is a shame for the profession at this stage and that you should definitely not spend a cent at your place when you are not in charge. I remain at your disposal to talk about it.

19/09/2024: **Disappointing experience at Caprice des Deux restaurant!** The restaurant is charmingly located in the center of Saint-Tropez, hidden in a narrow alley. Unfortunately, this was the only positive impression of our evening. Our starters were simply disappointing. Given the restaurant's claim to fresh and traditional French cuisine, the dishes delivered were a bitter disappointment. The **cannelloni** came to the table cold after a long wait and was unappetizing. She was swimming in a brown, salty sauce that was supposed to taste like seafood. The **Asian-style beef salad** was also carelessly prepared. The meat was chopped into small pieces, the salad was covered in a simple soy sauce, was bland and lacked any Asian herbs that could give the dish character. Despite these shortcomings, our criticisms were ignored. When someone finally cleared the plates after a long time and we expressed our disappointment, the staff reacted unfriendly and in a loud tone. We were told that the other guests liked the dishes without even trying to solve the problem or offer us alternatives. We ended up canceling our dinner, paying an overpriced bill and going home hungry. For a restaurant in Saint-Tropez, where high prices should reflect high culinary standards, this was an extremely disappointing experience

14/10/2024: Nous avons gentiment demandé au serveur quelles étaient les suggestions du jour, ce à quoi ils nous a sèchement répondu qu’elles étaient affichées à l’entrée (à nous d’être attentifs donc ! Pas le droit à l’erreur quoi !). Après avoir obtenu les informations demandées, notre choix s’est porté sur le burger. Comme le serveur ne s’en inquiétait pas, nous lui avons précisé que nous souhaitions une cuisson saignante, ce à quoi il nous a répondu que le chef cuisait le steak à point, et que nous n’avions pas le choix. Nous avons donc commandé un autre plat, étant donné que le client n’a décidément pas son mot à dire… Je n’ai rien contre le fait de payer un peu plus cher, car j’ai bien conscience de l’endroit où l’on se trouve. En revanche, quand je paye ce prix-là, j’estime que j’ai le droit à un service impeccable. Votre restaurant a beau se trouver sur le port de Saint-Tropez, cela n’interdit pas à vos serveurs d’être aimables !!

06/09/2024: 7 plats qui passent trop vite! On y retourne avant la fermeture annuelle. Service décontracté mais très pro. Le chef nous a fait les honneurs, merci Chef. Les 2 jeunes filles au service donnent une note chic, légère on n’avait pas envie de partir. Et le pigeon…la gimauve roulée fruits rouges…j’en rêve encore
