31/07/2026: I highly recommend this place for fish. I ordered octopus, which was incredibly tender and flavorful. The best time to go is at sunset. It's amazing.

30/08/2026: 12/10. One of the best meals I’ve had in 3 weeks of travelling the entire south of France. This is Michelin grade restaurant at decent pricing and service. Highly recommend the cannelloni and the fig dessert! Wow. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

17/08/2026: We saw in the reviews that the place had service issues, but we came anyways. The service was very good, the food was excellent and we had a great time. Would come back. Also nice view on the street.

26/08/2026: Good food and atmosphere overall. Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience with the waiter, who initially brought us a wine list with extremely high prices. When I asked him in French—as I am French, although I was dining with foreign guests—whether we could order a bottle of one of the wines available by the glass, since these were not shown on the list and the other bottles started at around €200–€300, he spent a minute or two checking the prices, looking visibly confused, before going back to the kitchen. He eventually returned with the actual wine list and explained that the first one had been given to us by mistake and was from a private event. The whole situation felt very strange and left us with the impression that this may be a tactic used with foreign customers who are less familiar with wine prices.

05/09/2026: What a disappointment. The tart tropézienne itself was disappointing, but that is a matter of personal taste. What was much more disappointing, however, was the service. We arrived about 40 minutes before closing time. The staff were already cleaning, and they were visibly annoyed that we had come in. They were unfriendly and made us feel as though we were bothering them. There were only three Tarte Tropézienne options left, two for 4 and one for 6 people, so we decided to take the one for 4. The woman before me ordered the exact same tart, and the staff member neatly packed it in a nice box and a bag. When it was our turn, however, we were told that tarts wrapped in plastic wrap could not be put in a box. We also asked if we could have a couple of wooden spoons, and were told that those were only for the small tarts, not the large ones. Overall, a truly disappointing experience, especially considering the price we paid. We expected much better service and hospitality.

25/08/2026: The welcome was typically distant and condescending, typical of trendy restaurants (no reservation? A 3-minute wait for no apparent reason, only to be given a table from several available ones). In short, the usual and regrettable way of being received at these establishments. A warm welcome with a smile and the same wait time would have been appreciated. On the other hand, John provided impeccable and very attentive service throughout the evening, despite a torrential downpour that forced the terrace diners to be moved inside. John even seated us at a lovely table to enjoy our dessert and wait out the deluge! A successful Sénéquier experience thanks to him! Thank you again, John.

24/08/2026: An iconic St Tropez location, but expensive. There was an error on the bill, but the service was professional and pleasant nonetheless.

06/09/2026: Very disappointing experience at Café de Paris Saint-Tropez. The security staff were extremely unprofessional and unnecessarily aggressive. I was physically grabbed and pushed while trying to speak to a manager, which I found completely unacceptable. Regardless of whether security decides that someone should not enter a venue, there is a professional and respectful way to handle the situation. What made it worse is that I contacted Café de Paris afterwards to make a formal complaint and gave them the opportunity to address what happened. I received no response at all. That says a lot about how seriously they take complaints about the behaviour of their security staff. And frankly, even putting that incident aside, I don’t think the place is particularly enjoyable at night. The atmosphere felt more chaotic than fun, and there are far better places in Saint-Tropez if you’re looking for a good night out. Best places at night are at Place des Lices. Cafe de paris is TRYING HARD to stay popular but it failed on so many points except for location I used to spend every day there having a drink with salmon tartar but certainly won’t be returning for evenings.

There is a lot of beautiful people to be seen and wants to be seen… Also, the restaurant is very beautiful right located in the center of the port of center pay with big yacht overlooking at the promenade. Food overall nothing to brag about it kind of very, very small portion and of course, as expected very, very high prices not surprising the prices there
