06/03/2026: Excellent restaurant with a warm welcome. Refined and generous home-style cooking, a good wine list of course, and very reasonable value for money. We'll definitely be back! Because we couldn't try everything 😁
14/02/2026: One of the remarkable meals during the trip, the menu might be short but all the options are attractive, the starter of the scallops, the amazing long cooked lamb shanks and the dessert, and the wine list. All are very heart warming and full with flavours. A place worth to visit again when coming back.

Superb room. The Provençal farmhouse we love.
Dinner featured a Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine list with a very wide selection of vintage wines. A real treat!
For the evening menu, we adored the southern cuisine and the extraordinary caramel cake. See photos.
A must-visit.

17/03/2026: We were misled at this restaurant. We inquired whether dessert could be included as part of the set meal, and after double-checking with the staff, they assured us that it was possible. However, when the bill arrived, the dessert had not been included.
As a group of 14, we ended up paying nearly €200 more than expected. The staff were dismissive and quite arrogant in their response.

15/03/2026: A delightful lunch at Restaurant des Fines Roches in Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
The dishes were flavorful and refined, the service attentive and warm, and above all, the setting absolutely magnificent with a splendid view of the vineyards.
A truly pleasurable and indulgent experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return.
14/03/2026: We had a family meal for 18 people at the end of August. It started badly right away; we were seated at three separate round tables... And the meal? What a disappointment!
The dishes offered were not worthy of a 4-star restaurant.
- Starter = uninteresting (melon and burrata)
- One duck breast (tough or undercooked), with raw, pre-packaged gnocchi!!!
- One apricot clafoutis that wasn't really an apricot clafoutis at all (just a simple apricot cake).
The service was appalling; we had to ask for water and bread, and even pour our own wine?? In a 4-star restaurant, this is unacceptable!
You're much better off eating in a small restaurant where you'll pay a lot more, but at least you'll enjoy a delicious meal!
