03/09/2024: Thank you Mickael and the whole team for the welcome and the quality of your service on a Monday, the only restaurant open in this historic landmark! Let's go back to the comments of some previous customers. It is regrettable to read these harsh and unjustified comments, some of which are Local guides and do not deserve this title... The owner's responses are an example of moderation and restraint. Thanks to the Dutch for teaching us empathy ;-). I recommend to the authors of these remarks to try the table of a Michelin star, but they will probably not even be invited to sit down. The value for money at St Savin is unbeatable!!! Thanks again to Mickael and good luck for welcoming some French customers. You deserve the 5 stars in this review

15/12/2024: Sachant que c'est un restaurant d'insertion j'y allais en étant prêt à être assez conciliant....or tout s'est avéré très convenable : les plats étaient bons , le service normal et le prix très civilisé....donc pour déjeuner que demander de plus ?Je conseille toutefois d'arriver assez tôt ou de réserver.

01/09/2024: As a celiac, being gluten free is not an option, it is crucial to my health and well-being. I specifically stated that I can only have gluten free food in French and the waiter suggested a salad. I couldn't believe my eyes when the recommended goats cheese salad arrived with the cheese coated in bread crumbs and deep fried in gluten contaminated oil!! The lettuce in the salad was passed it's best in any case. I ordered a duck dish which was reheated from frozen and looked anaemic at best. Really disappointing as the venue is awesome! What a missed opportunity

30/11/2024: Previously we came with a good memory, but today for a menu of the day, an overcooked piece from the butcher, for a medium order, fries too greasy, only one choice of dessert, we took one from the menu , tiramisu, cloying cream, unsoaked biscuits, tasteless whole, and of course dessert paid in addition to the daily menu, at the time of the bill we gave our opinion, the waitress completely disinterested in what we can tell her!! We are not ordinary tourists, but locals, and therefore we will have the leisure to pass on our visit to your establishment,

29/11/2024: Cinq occasions de restauration en différentes compagnie (couple, avec amis, avec collègues, avec groupe d'amis ET enfants), et chaque fois très déçue. Passions et gourmandises était exceptionnel, le cadre ne fait malheureusement pas tout. Le rapport qualité-prix est médiocre. Côté ambiance, il ne fait pas bon venir entre amis avec les enfants ; le dérangement occasionné vous conduira à vous faire reléguer en terrasse afin de ne pas importuner le propriétaire à l'intérieur. Le traitement à votre égard dépendra du standing vérifié ou supposé du propriétaire de votre classe sociale d'appartenance. Conclusion : à éviter, il y a de biens meilleurs restaurants et plus accueillants à découvrir.

11/09/2024: L’accueil et le décor ainsi que le site sont formidables,impeccable du début à la fin.L’entrecôte Angus et les frites fraîches était excellente ainsi que le dessert qui a ravi mes papillles…Quand au service au petit soin qui ne gâche rien au plaisir. Merci beaucoup à tous pour ce repas qui sera pour moi le meilleur sur la région depuis longtemps

03/09/2024: The cafe latte seemed to be mostly milky water. It’s as if it was made using one coffee bean and was lukewarm. I had to ask for it to be heated. The outside seating is lovely, watching people walk past.

14/10/2024: Hotel catering 0 points No heating in the rooms sick result (mid October) Very very expensive there were 8 of us for 1 weekend €100 per room/day Room lock blocked at 12:00 a.m. No emergency number Nobody in the hotel It's better to agree with the boss because otherwise he will DESTROY you as he told me. Incredibly disappointed and + Don't go there at all We end after many years

31/08/2024: All you can eat buffet, fast, correct but noisy.

31/08/2024: What a disappointment, we had never been so poorly received! We called to find out until what time customers were accepted and we arrived 10 minutes before that stated time. The waitress tells us that her cash register is closed and we tell her that that is not what was said on the phone. She decides to reopen her cash register, but makes us understand that it bothers her! Then followed the deplorable buffet: reheated fries, rice and uncooked semolina, we stopped there, our drink being only syrup-colored sparkling water. The staff who pass discreetly to see where we are, we understand well that we are disturbing. Result: €52 for two people, we would have been better off looking elsewhere! We will remember this address, but not for the right reasons!
