25/05/2025: We arrived with 12 people instead of 10. The staff were unpleasant and exasperated because one person was in a wheelchair. Given the reception, we ended up leaving without ordering.
25/05/2025: The welcome was unacceptable, disrespectful, and vulgar.
One of our friends was in a wheelchair. She was called a pain upon arrival because this hadn't been specified in the reservation.
The restaurant was almost empty. We had booked for 8, but there were 12 of us. We were in training and staying at the hotel next door.
That's 4 extra covers. The waiter pointed this out to us and informed us that we would have to wait anyway because he only had one cook.
We got up to leave in the face of such a lack of professionalism.

06/11/2025: An exceptional stay in a peaceful and authentic setting!
The host is incredibly kind and dedicated. She puts her heart and soul into her hospitality and cooking: homemade meals, made with organic and local produce, bursting with flavor and generous portions.
The room is spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is tastefully decorated, with a touch of originality that makes the place unique.
A truly wonderful place, run by an entrepreneur who does everything to ensure her guests feel at home. I warmly recommend this farm-inn to anyone seeking authenticity, comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere.
03/10/2025: Catastrophic experience
Arrived early after giving advance notice
Waited outside for an hour and a half without knowing when the owner would return
Finally went straight home and the next day we were charged for the entire stay: room plus tourist tax and two meals

04/06/2026: I came for lunch one day, and the waiter outside practically jumped on me, telling me the daily special could be served with something other than fries… once I was seated and ordered an aperitif, well, no, actually, only fries. I went for a Reine pizza, I'm still looking for the ham, and long live industrial pizzas! Only the wine was good.

07/06/2026: Bad experience.
A buffet with a very limited and poor-quality selection.
The cooking was inconsistent, and the dishes were dry and cold. There was almost no choice for those who don't eat meat.
Shameful considering the price! We barely ate anything because it was so bad.

RECEPTION: Efficient, Professional, Everything you would expect from a Logis Hotel.
ROOM: (Hotel Le Clovis)
Clean, Spacious, Quality Bedding.
One drawback to note: The television is ancient (probably from the 90s). The screen size is ridiculous; even my PC has a bigger screen!
BATHROOM: (Hotel Le Clovis)
Clean, Spacious. It's a shame that the tiles, the ceramics, and the fixtures (sink, bathtub) all scream 80s!
BREAKFAST: (Hotel Le Clovis)
A generous buffet is offered.
It even includes local specialties like Tourteau Fromager (a type of cheesecake) and Broyé du Poitou (a type of shortbread).
03/02/2026: We stayed at this hotel during the summer of 2025. We booked through a Wonderbox gift voucher, and the hotel was supposed to provide a small welcome gift (two bottles of local wine and a box of "Goulibeur" biscuits).
Once we arrived, no one was available to give us this gift, but we were told it would be sent to us.
I've contacted the manager three times since July, and she assures me she'll send it shortly: we still haven't seen a penny of it.
I do not recommend this hotel; the customer service is appalling.
In addition, the rooms are clearly outdated, and the breakfast buffet was questionable (especially the cold cuts).
Avoid it.

02/08/2024: Nous venons régulièrement, mais j’ai été déçue par le plat de duo St jaques et crevettes.
3 crevettes très cuites , 4 noix st jaques minuscules. 26€ aïe ! A améliorer, on a été habitué à mieux. A ce prix ça fait mal …
Coktails délicieux , tiramisus abricot rien à dire . Le menu enfant est également très bien.
Le cadre en terrasse est très agréable . Nous reviendrons malgré tout!

Un super grand merci à Mélissa, seul regret, personne à table n’avait de monnaie pour le pourboire, pour sûr nous reviendrons pour y remédier !!!!

22/07/2024: Possibly the worst service I have experienced. Took 30 minutes to take our order. Another 20 to serve the wine ordered. The food - a simple crepe - took over an hour to arrive and was missing one of the listed ingredients. There was only one member of staff front of house and just one in the kitchen-shambolic service and disappointing food. Steer clear and had for one of the other local eateries.
