23/08/2024: The best in Poitiers with real bread and a real bakery atmosphere!!! Very pleasant staff, friendly exchanges. The pastries have real cake colors, concerning the sugar: just enough, nothing to do with the stalls of ultra-sweet and ultra-processed green, pink or yellow "cakes" that we are unfortunately now used to seeing everywhere. Sourdough bread is just delicious AND digestible!! Elina's bakery is the authenticity of the real bakery! THANKS

19/08/2024: Extremely long service, cold dish, and cooking instructions not followed. Over an hour of waiting in a restaurant with only four other customers to get three burgers, a Classic, a bacon and a chicken. The instruction was to cook the meat to medium rareness for the Classic and the Becon, but we received steaks that were far too blue and cold... The chicken burger was also cold. Not to mention the fries, which were extremely soft and full of oil.

11/08/2024: The best experience of Poitier. Finally staff that knows how to serve correctly at the table. We were plesantly surprised by the appitizers (2×) and friandises at the desert. Royal portions. The vegatarian dish could be made a little more in balance, but quality was good. Excellent main course, and finally deserts that were a real treat. Well done!

22/08/2024: Great little restaurant, home-cooked meals and very competitive prices, passing through, with family, colleagues and friends, this restaurant will satisfy you. An extra fresh buffet, and different daily special meals every day, I recommend

21/08/2024: The terrace is pleasant, the welcome is very friendly, the starter buffet is very good, but the food can sometimes be a little disappointing (poorly prepared fish, almost cold and full of bones, and random fried vegetables). It remains a good canteen at a reasonable price.

20/03/2025: Traditional, carefully prepared cuisine. Very good starter, main course, cheese, and dessert, prepared with passion and dedication. A very generous cheese platter... homemade tiramisu to die for... In short, excellent value for money, very professional and unpretentious staff, right on the waterfront.

16/08/2024: Un cadre très chaleureux, un serveur plus qu'aimable, une cuisine originale et très bonne. Le concept de choix de ses mets permet de tester plein de saveurs délicieuses et différentes. Aux personnes qui n'ont pas honoré leurs réservation ce soir là : trop bête vous avez raté un bel endroit ! Sachez que derrière chaque manque de respect se cache un patron adorable et déçu !!!

30/07/2024: Repas très original et service au top ! Je recommande ! Le serveur était très souriant et accueillant et le menu était très varié ! Le dessert a tombé !!! Petit bémol : en 36 dégrées pas évident de manger chaud ! Mais globalement à refaire !

03/09/2024: Thank you Mickael and the whole team for the welcome and the quality of your service on a Monday, the only restaurant open in this historic landmark! Let's go back to the comments of some previous customers. It is regrettable to read these harsh and unjustified comments, some of which are Local guides and do not deserve this title... The owner's responses are an example of moderation and restraint. Thanks to the Dutch for teaching us empathy ;-). I recommend to the authors of these remarks to try the table of a Michelin star, but they will probably not even be invited to sit down. The value for money at St Savin is unbeatable!!! Thanks again to Mickael and good luck for welcoming some French customers. You deserve the 5 stars in this review

17/03/2024: The food isn't great, the pizzas are the same, poor value for money. Very noisy, it feels like a cafeteria. The price is okay, but normal when you haven't paid your rent for years. And finally, the staff is unfriendly. Don't go there, it's really the lowest of the lows.

24/01/2024: Very long service for a simple salad displayed as a starter at 5.50 but charged 12.50 with the boss's justification, I quote: you cannot come to the restaurant and eat only a starter So yes, I can even come for a coffee or a beer or even a chocolate mousse I won't come back again, especially to entertain a "thief" (forgive me for the term but that's clearly it). I gave one star because I can't give less

04/11/2023: Very warm welcome, we were served quickly. Very hearty and very good dish up to dessert and coffee included with a reasonable price. Very well presented plate.

15/07/2023: Exorbitant price €21 for a plate of cold canteen paella, no lost staff organization. I absolutely do not recommend.

18/08/2024: Please review your opening and closing times, I came from far away to ultimately find the restaurant closed 😑
