15/12/2024: I have been going to this restaurant for several years now. I obviously started in their first restaurant, then I worked upstairs in the neighboring building, and recently on the ground floor with their new room. Already I really appreciate this new place, very chic and refined, much larger than the other 2.
Regarding the dishes, I have never been disappointed when eating here. The menus change regularly and all the dishes are very subtle and tasty. Always in season.
The first price is €39: starter + main course + dessert + 2 appetizers (before the starter and after the dessert). I find this to be very reasonable.
The only remark, but I would say that it is in keeping with the times, a few years ago the plates were more copious than now, but they have changed style, currently we are really in a gourmet restaurant which has not nothing to envy anyone.
I recommend +++
09/12/2024: Everything is perfect, from the appetizers to the sweet treats with coffee. Everything is excellent, a feast for the eyes and taste buds. The staff is very attentive and gives good advice. The new room and decorations are superb.

03/11/2024: Établissement très accessible avec parking à la porte. Décoration de la salle sobre et agréable. Rapport qualité/prix tout à fait intéressant pour des mets de qualité et servis en quantité suffisante par un patron ouvert et sympathique.
Seule la carte des vins très restreinte limite les choix au niveau de la cave et des tarifs.
Le clos des jacobins mérite d’être connu car on s’y sent bien et on y mange bien. Que demander de plus.

22/08/2024: Very good atmosphere, very nice boss, however each dish lacked a little salt. Small downside also for the green beans which disappointed me a little. It's a bit of a shame because apart from that I would have given it 5★. Well done though, I hope to be able to raise the score the next time I come.
You see in the attached photo the snails and the veal kidney in port sauce with green beans.

15/07/2024: Really not great restaurant, very very simple cuisine lacking in taste, frozen fries and canned spinach, disappointed to pay for a cuisine that you can very easily reproduce at home, fresh fruit salad served in a dirty water glass and the fruits bathed in an ultra-sweet juice... the waitress doesn't seem happy to be there either.
I won't come back and I don't recommend...

Mrs. Vibert, hello,
I understand that running a restaurant requires rigorous organization, and I respect your staff's need to rest. However, as a customer, it's frustrating to rely on incorrect information available online, leading to a poor experience before you even walk through the door of your establishment.
I also understand that you cannot currently update your website. That said, proactive and clear communication, particularly on your social networks or via automated messages to inform of your new schedules, could avoid these inconveniences in the future.
My intention is not to "drown" your comment platforms, but simply to express my disappointment in a lack of visibility on current information. Good communication with your customers is essential to avoid this type of misunderstanding and maintain a relationship of trust.
I wish you good luck for the future and hope that this feedback can be useful in improving customer satisfaction.

01/09/2024: Certes mon titre est violent mais à la hauteur du vécu.
Dimanche 1er septembre, jour de la St Fiacre (fête emblématique de Sens) Tous les restaurants sont fermés ou en liquidation.
Reste la Pizzeria de la cathédrale (voir mon avis sur ce restaurant mais surtout son patron) et L'Ecu.
La punition car pas le choix. Donc on se dit ça a peut-être changé, car mes 2 dernières expériences ont été catastrophiques et il y a longtemps. Il y a bien eu X changt de propriétaire, donc petit espoir.
Hélas NON ! C'est la même daube.
D entrée "la patronne " annonce le tempo. Je suis seule, je fais la cuisine, le service, la plonge, le bar ...il y aura de l attente.
OK OK...pas le choix
Une sourie d agneau 24 eur , sans goût, sans saveur, sans sauce ! Alors que c'est un pur produit industriel. Des frites élastiques froides ....une tarte citron humide, made in Pasquier.
2 repas avec de l eau 84 €
BREF les 4 tablées ont eu les mêmes réactions de franchement catastrophique pour un restaurant qui se la joue "classe"
Quelle punition !
PS pour le sel allez au carrefour d à côté car sur 6 tables zéro sel dans le moulin.
Et l hygiène des toilettes ou de la salle ...no comment
