23/02/2026: The dining room is modern yet stunning, the staff attentive and friendly, the cuisine delicious and refined, and the service impeccable. And to top it all off, the prices are reasonable! You don't always find such excellent service in more expensive establishments. We'll definitely be back! Especially since the place is magical. Be sure to take a few minutes to admire the artwork in the hotel lobby before you leave!

23/02/2026: Lunch menu. Very warm welcome. The starters and desserts were superb, no complaints. However, the lamb shoulder cooked navarin-style was a bit small compared to the side dish, even if it was basmati rice. It's not the most expensive cut of lamb. To accompany this dish, I ordered the oldest vintage of red wine in Bordeaux, the Dame de Mont Rose 2011, which is the second wine of this grand cru. The bottle was presented to me, very nice. Fifteen minutes later, they wanted me to taste the wine while I was enjoying champagne and foie gras. Needs improvement. Furthermore, the wine was served straight from the bottle into glasses without decanting to remove the natural sediment. It should have been decanted, as with all older vintages. Even though La Rotonde is the Negresco's second restaurant, it doesn't live up to its reputation.

12/02/2026: This is the third time I've eaten here with my wife. The service is warm and the food excellent 🤩 However!! Tonight, imagine my surprise! What happened to the owner? Although he only seemed bitter, it made our lovely waitress cry!!! She came back, smiling, as if nothing had happened!!! She even apologized when we asked her if everything was alright with my wife!!! I've been a boss for 40 years!! It's no wonder young people don't want to go into this profession anymore if all bosses treat their employees like this!!! We might come back, hoping not to encounter this kind of scene again!!! Thank you to her for her impeccable service and her ever-present smile!!

10/12/2025: Everything is excellent! Food, service and climat. I was so amazed being there. Restaurant looks very nice and warm. Price is very good for that kind of quality! Additionally there is a possibility to order to home! Definitely i will come back there and i will order to home as well!

26/06/2025: A gem to discover near the Menton covered market. A small, air-conditioned dining room and sheltered terrace offer everything you need whatever the weather. A short menu with generous and surprisingly composed salads. Quality ingredients on the plate, prepared by an experienced chef. Simple and tasty cuisine at reasonable prices. We loved the owner's cheerfulness. Unlike other nearby establishments, this restaurant is calm and peaceful, with no loud singers to prevent you from having a conversation. A lovely discovery!

03/03/2026: Nice, but could be better. I'm taking the time to write a long review because this restaurant has real potential! The Caesar salad, for example, isn't complicated: you need good ingredients. Here, the tomatoes (in winter!!) aren't ripe and are certainly full of pesticides. The salad isn't very flavorful... I know, we'll say that's typical, but it's the main ingredient. The chicken nuggets are well-prepared but there's too much of them, and they don't taste like real chicken (you can tell it's factory-farmed). A good free-range chicken is good, though, and it's better when you know the animal had a decent life. In 2026, we won't care anymore. The Parmesan is the cheapest kind... but good Parmesan is good. That's also what you expect from a Caesar salad. The sauce is okay but lacks anchovies (traditional in this recipe). The croutons taste of nothing but the frying oil they've soaked through. It's a shame because it's immediately obvious that you've chosen to reduce the quality of the ingredients to increase your profit margins, and we don't want to experience that when we go to a restaurant. Yet, the cooking itself is excellent. You should reduce the amount of chicken and Parmesan, remove the fresh tomatoes (perhaps replace them with homemade sun-dried tomatoes when they're out of season), spice up the sauce a bit, and highlight the quality of the ingredients. When we go to a restaurant, even at this price, we want to eat artisanal, handmade food, local and organic products that respect the customer, the kitchen, and the entire production chain. Otherwise, I'll just buy the same salad at Monoprix in a pre-packaged container and serve it on a plate to make it look like I'm at home. ON THE POSITIVE: The wine by the glass was good, the roasted Camembert was good (the bread was a bit too toasty), and the gourmet coffee was good. The service was impeccable and the setting very pleasant (I appreciated the few comic books available). Everything was clean and nicely decorated.
