21/04/2026: We had a wonderful evening: delicious food with original combinations and very warm service!

17/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome and dined on the terrace. The meal was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

18/03/2026: Absolutely delicious! No frills here, just simple, satisfying, and crispy fish and chips. The fish is high quality, as are the batter and the tartar sauce. A must-try in the 2nd arrondissement for anyone who wants to devour fish and chips.

The bohemian spirit of Montparnasse can still be felt, a place once frequented by Pablo Picasso, Ernest Hemingway and other great cultural figures. The Art Deco interior, with its historic columns, is a living imprint of that era. You come here not only to dine, but to step back into the past for a moment 👌🏻

27/04/2026: My dream wasn't fulfilled. The setting is magnificent, but being in the second seating—perhaps the head waiter was tired, but he was unpleasant. Maybe we weren't wearing shirts and ties, and he didn't provide information to guide us toward a memorable second-course meal. The sauerkraut and the meats were very good, but I found the cabbage acidic and didn't eat it. I mentioned this, which displeased our waiter. The desserts were fantastic. The beer, for me, was more of an Alsatian beer, but it was okay. The setting is wonderful; it was my dream. It's a shame we couldn't see the ballroom. But the bickering between the waiters wasn't great. And finally, the crêpe Suzette should be flambéed in front of the customer. That's part of the dream. Disappointed.

24/04/2026: A very successful business dinner. Everything was delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert. The service was attentive but not intrusive. The group loved it, and I received many compliments.

16/04/2026: I want to raise awareness about extremely serious incidents at a restaurant that appears to be covering up and facilitating unacceptable behavior. At this establishment, young women are being pressured into drinking alcohol by the waiters and are being isolated in a private area upstairs. A man known to the restaurant, who is clearly receiving preferential treatment, is taking advantage of this situation to make sexual advances, even following women to the restrooms and attempting to coerce them into sexual acts without their consent. What is most shocking is that these actions are taking place in full view of the staff, without any intervention. This silence and complicity are unacceptable. This kind of behavior is serious and dangerous, and it must be denounced. No establishment should protect or tolerate such acts. I encourage anyone who has been a victim or witness to speak out, to protect themselves, and to report these incidents to the appropriate authorities.

03/04/2026: Delicious food and warm, friendly service. Traditional French cuisine focused on fish and seafood. We had bouillabaisse and sea bass filet. Definitely would eat there again. Very good value. It’s a one person operation amazingly.

30/03/2026: A hidden gem, not like the standard restaurant, it was cosy, the staff very friendly and the food was delicious, seafood the speciality with other options and a good wine list. Merci beaucoup!

22/04/2026: I hosted my birthday party there last night. Another bar canceled on us and we had 35-40 people coming with no bar… The Financier not only accommodated us but were absolute angels the whole night! Free shots for the birthday people, a giant area with couches reserved, large smoking area and they didn’t mind how loud or American we were being. Would have changed nothing about the night it was incredible and I’m so happy I had it at The Financier. The staff were absolutely adorable and so kind and really made my friend and I’s birthday amazing.

12/04/2026: We were so glad we found this restaurant and will definitely be back. The atmosphere is lovely and colorful, a welcome change from the Parisian gloom. We appreciated the lack of music and being able to actually hear each other talk :) The staff was fantastic, attentive, and flexible. As for the food, it was impeccable, the apple tart was incredible!! 4/5 because we haven't tried the seafood platters yet.
