11/05/2026: I came to eat dinner at this restaurant. The wait was incredibly long; between ordering and receiving our food, an hour and forty minutes passed. There were flies everywhere, the wine wasn't good quality as it was kept warm on the wall, and the waitress wasn't pleasant. I don't recommend this place.
09/05/2026: Reservation at 8 PM, 9:40 PM and still no dish, it's up to you.

How can I put it... 130 euros!!!! For mussels that were practically nonexistent!!! And a turbot for 74 euros!!! Definitely not a kilo... served with potatoes!!!
No intention whatsoever on the plate, overpriced for NOTHING!!!!
Definitely avoid this place!!!
This will be the worst memory of these three days in Saint-Jean-de-Luz!!! Pfffffff!

25/05/2026: A really nice restaurant, very good food, and very well located... what more could you ask for?
Refreshing mocktail (well, lots of crushed ice...). Amazing burgers... we loved them... special mention to the burger buns... fantastic... (actually, everything else was great too ^^). Excellent ice cream dessert (Dame Blanche/Chocolat Liégeois)... the chocolate was excellent... The French toast was also excellent... And to top it all off, we had a sunset on the beach... Very friendly and fast service... reasonable price considering the quality (4 mocktails/4 burgers/3 desserts... €128). We recommend it 200%! ^^

24/05/2026: This way of operating is quite surprising and defies all logic, or at least any coherent explanation given to the customer. Paying an exorbitant price for a savory snack and not even being able to eat it on the terrace seems absurd… if you really want to do “street food,” then make things that can be eaten standing up and without cutlery, not food that crumbles, is messy, and difficult to eat… The Basque cake was more than ordinary, and the saleswoman at the dessert counter addressed you informally without your permission, in stark contrast to the two older women who displayed a surprisingly cold demeanor.
16/05/2026: Very disappointed. The welcome was very cold. It wasn't possible to sit down to eat a quiche and a sweet tart with a disabled person. I won't be going back!

09/10/2025: Exceptional setting a few meters from the port and the beach. It's the only acceptable restaurant in the area and we were very disappointed. No water or bread at the table. The dishes offered on the menu do not exist. I told you "no paella, prawns, monkfish, fish..." said the waiter. The ham croquettes are mostly potato croquettes. The mussels with chorizo are swimming in a pink creamy sauce and most are already detached from their shells. They do not contain chorizo. The waiters are tattooed thugs in shorts. We miss the service of yesteryear in restaurants and when will there be an acceptable restaurant in this corner of Hendaye?
