06/06/2026: A hotel offering a family-friendly, peaceful atmosphere, a fresh breakfast, and a beautiful location for nature lovers. The restaurant is also a great place to enjoy a delicious meal after exploring the coast. And the welcome is truly warm; we will gladly return.
03/06/2026: A very nice hotel and restaurant. We received a friendly welcome. The hotel has a bicycle storage room with charging facilities for e-bikes and all the necessary tools for minor repairs.
The cuisine is regional and highly recommended.

04/07/2026: Restaurant with a direct ocean view, the food is excellent and the portions are generous, the service is impeccable and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience. Thank you to them. This is the second year we've gone and it's still just as good; I highly recommend it.

17/05/2026: A wonderful discovery opposite the statue of Ulysses. A friend had recommended it, and she was right. The warm stuffed oysters are a real treat. I will gladly return on my next visit to Les Sables.
16/05/2026: We walked in and received a warm welcome. The service was quick and attentive. A great selection of dishes, all delicious. The other customers were respectful of the peace and quiet. I highly recommend it.

07/07/2026: What a gem. On the boulevard. Extremely friendly and competent staff. Olives as an appetizer. I ate shrimp and roquefort mussels, my dining companion a piece of beef with béarnaise sauce. Very generous portions. The mussels were some of the tastiest I have ever tasted. The glass of Chardonnay paired perfectly with them. The surprise dessert was a success and the cheese board featured delicious, unique cheeses. The price-quality ratio is therefore excellent. There were almost exclusively French families there and, judging by the greeting, they came often. It was a pity that it was our last evening in the Vendée; I would have loved to eat there again. But it was a perfect end to my holiday, thank you!

22/07/2026: No one greeted us when we arrived, so I decided to go to the counter.
We were offered a table outside. They smiled when we ordered, and the drinks were fine. But then... the atmosphere was good because there was a very good singer (a duo). We waited two hours before eating. I pointed this out to two members of the staff: sorry/sorry.
The bill was far too high for the quality of the food: sauerkraut without peppercorns, thyme, bay leaf, or wine, accompanied by bland fish and shrimp, and four potatoes.
It seemed like a tourist trap to me, even though I'm from the region—and I work in the industry, and I'm not doing it well. I'm very disappointed that I invited my mother here when we were just out exploring for once.

25/09/2024: We had dinner at the restaurant which was a real surprise. We were able to reserve a table with a sea view, the staff were attentive and the food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant 👍

16/08/2024: Pourquoi ne pas prendre les tickets restaurants alors que sur la porte la vignette est affichée ?
Deux choix de plats dans le menu enfant (Burger ou moules) et c'est dommage de ne pas pouvoir avoir uniquement le steak haché du Burger lorsqu'on le demande.
Sinon les moules et la viande étaient très bonnes... dommage....
14/08/2024: Nous avons dû attendre 20 minutes avant que le serveur ne daigne prendre notre commande… comme si nos têtes ne lui plaisaient pas !!
Malgré notre demande expresse et répétée, la table n’a pas été nettoyée et les boissons ont été servies sur une table pas propre !
Nous connaissons le coin, car nous ne sommes pas des touristes. Nous irons chez les voisins la prochaine fois.

31/07/2024: On nous a conseillé le restaurant, nous n'avons pas été déçus ! Coleslaw en entrée très bon et parfait avec les chaleurs. Mon conjoint a pris une salade au magret, jambon de vendée, fromage, melon, concombre, carotte, excellente ! J'ai pour ma part pris un onglet, très tendre, la sauce était très bonne également (au chou fleur ?). Nous avons fini d'être totalement conquis avec la tarte au citron meringuée, on comprend pourquoi elle est incontournable ! De plus le personnel est à l'écoute (pas besoin de demander quoi que ce soit, l'eau ou le pain revenaient en table dès que besoin) et très sympathique ! Nous reviendrons !
30/07/2024: Tout est parfait, la qualité des plats, le professionnalisme des patrons et de leur équipe et le rapport qualité prix. Continuez ainsi, vous êtes de loin et même de très loin les meilleurs de la Tranche.
