17/05/2026: A wonderful discovery opposite the statue of Ulysses. A friend had recommended it, and she was right. The warm stuffed oysters are a real treat. I will gladly return on my next visit to Les Sables.

16/05/2026: We walked in and received a warm welcome. The service was quick and attentive. A great selection of dishes, all delicious. The other customers were respectful of the peace and quiet. I highly recommend it.

07/07/2026: What a gem. On the boulevard. Extremely friendly and competent staff. Olives as an appetizer. I ate shrimp and roquefort mussels, my dining companion a piece of beef with béarnaise sauce. Very generous portions. The mussels were some of the tastiest I have ever tasted. The glass of Chardonnay paired perfectly with them. The surprise dessert was a success and the cheese board featured delicious, unique cheeses. The price-quality ratio is therefore excellent. There were almost exclusively French families there and, judging by the greeting, they came often. It was a pity that it was our last evening in the Vendée; I would have loved to eat there again. But it was a perfect end to my holiday, thank you!

28/04/2026: Everything is perfect!!! A warm and welcoming atmosphere, refined cuisine made with fresh ingredients and subtle flavors. A truly magnificent setting (right by the sea), and a much-appreciated limoncello. Gentlemen, this restaurant is definitely for you. Would I recommend it? ...without hesitation... try the seafood sauerkraut with vanilla notes... a huge THANK YOU and BRAVO!!! Wishing you a wonderful season

28/05/2026: I absolutely loved the Hôtel La Côte de Lumière in the Vendée region! The welcome was exceptionally warm, with service and thoughtful touches that far exceeded what you'd expect from a 2-star hotel. The rooms were immaculate, the bedding very comfortable, and the hotel was impeccably maintained. Its location is ideal, very close to vast, unspoiled beaches, in a peaceful setting that truly invites relaxation and serenity. The couple who run the hotel are both highly professional and friendly, and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. A simple, pleasant, and authentic place where you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all travelers looking for a peaceful stay in the Vendée!

20/05/2026: Excellent welcome! Charming hotel, tastefully renovated. Dinner, featuring fresh, homemade dishes, and breakfast were both perfect. An ideal stop for cyclists on the Velodyssey route.

17/05/2026: A very good place with good value for money. The portions are generous and the servers are very friendly.

15/05/2026: Overpriced considering the quality of the food. Expect to pay at least €80 for two. A simple plate of duck breast is €30 without a drink or dessert. It's still a small brasserie, though.
