22/02/2026: We came on a Saturday night without a reservation and were pleasantly surprised! The pizza 🍕, tiramisu, and cocktails 🍸 were all delicious. Everything was fantastic, and we'll definitely be back because the menu has so many options. Great atmosphere, lovely decor, and the waiters/waitresses were very friendly.

21/02/2026: Reservation for 6 made online the day before, proof available on the phone. We arrived on time, but upon arrival outside, we were immediately told to stop, claiming they had no record of the reservation and implying we must have made a mistake, even though they had the confirmation email right in front of them... "Come back for the next service at 2 PM, no thanks."

16/02/2026: Lunch on Sunday, February 15th. In my opinion, the only positive point was the waiter, who might be the owner. The food was tasteless and the portions were small, except for the rice or noodles.

12/11/2025: At Aux Bartavelles, everything is top-notch: the traditional cuisine and the warm welcome. The starters are delicious, the main courses are flavorful and generous. The desserts are excellent; I highly recommend the Viganaise sundae. I go there regularly, I'm never disappointed, and I'll definitely be back.

05/07/2025: I think the one of the best restaurants on whole trip in France 🇫🇷 from Paris to Nice and to Provence area. I like this restaurant open 19-00 but was opened even before and without problems very nice lady letted us inside before. We as poor hungry and tired tourists highly appreciate this gesture:) Food was impeccable! Really amazing! We had for starter Pan fried cuttlefish and shrimps. The best really! And for mains 1)roasted duck breast filet with potato’s and veggi confit 2) veal entrecôte with tapenade. Dessert we took to share hot smoothy chocolate cake 🍰 We were alone till 20-00 and after came lots of local French people it is sign :) - we were in really good place!!! I cannot say enough about food and people who works there! Thank you so much for such memorable experience at your restaurant!!!! I will recommend all who I know to go to your restaurant!

22/02/2026: Three people visited today. Lunch service was way too fast! We ordered three drinks for aperitifs plus a sharing platter... and the main course arrived at the same time! Except the third person's dish, which arrived 10 minutes later, was missing... so we ate at different times. I find that unacceptable considering the restaurant's reputation. We felt watched until the very last bite because the place was cleared almost as soon as we put down our forks. In fact, it should really be called... Buffalo Grill. And another really negative thing... a table of four was literally blocking an emergency exit! Not cool.

11/02/2026: An uneventful stay at this Campanile hotel, where you'll find the chain's usual standards. The room was clean and spacious, with a particularly comfortable king-size bed. However, the lack of a shower was a drawback, as the bathtub is a bit less practical for my taste. As for the restaurant, the menu is simple but effective, with a well-stocked buffet that caters to all appetites. Special mention goes to the staff, who were very friendly and welcoming, contributing to a pleasant stay. An ideal hotel for a stopover in Nîmes.

25/01/2026: Yesterday upon arrival, there was no one at reception. We rang the bell several times and even called the phone. After a good 10 minutes, a receptionist arrived, without a word, without apologizing, simply saying, "I was called to your room."... You should consider a different line of work, sir, because you're clearly not up to the task at reception. Otherwise, everything was very good. Today's receptionist was perfect.

02/02/2026: We booked for a large group (25 people) and everything was perfect! They offered us menus to choose from in advance, and everything flowed seamlessly! The staff who looked after us were very friendly!
