19/10/2025: A superb discovery at Les Insolents in Uzès! An innovative concept where everything is shared with generosity and curiosity. The dishes are a true gustatory journey: each bite reveals a bold, perfectly balanced blend of flavors (Bravo to the chef).
The place is run by passionate sommeliers, who authentically convey their love of wine and taste.

15/11/2025: A warm and original setting for this lovely spot tucked away on a street near Gambetta. Attentive and humorous service, and the food...oh, the food...perfectly balanced and full of flavor. Cooking and seasoning are expertly executed, a feast for the eyes and the palate! Looking forward to returning to this charming place very soon!
09/11/2025: Quiet and close to the center, decent food but a very limited menu and portions. The service was horribly slow… 1 hour and 45 minutes for 4 appetizers and 4 main courses! There was clearly a cook or server missing, but no explanation or apology was offered… the same for the tables of the people next to us. Therefore, not recommended.

24/12/2024: An institution in Uzes, which has been going on for ages. Excellent pizzas (the pizza maker is almost part of the walls), choice of meats, fish, salads and others, simple and efficient cuisine, good and unpretentious, and excellent value for money. Special mention for the fries: REAL homemade fries from A to Z, it's so rare these days that it must be highlighted. Don't change anything! 😋

08/09/2024: On our second visit to Uzes we returned to Au Suisse d’Alger for a beer. As last time, we had a platter of tapas for supper which were tasty and very good value at three for 15 Euros.
Situated in a lovely location and with excellent service, this is a very good bar.

15/09/2024: Good address with a very stylized old-fashioned interior. The cuisine is classic but good and rather well done and the service is impeccable.
Precision: Really good time, the rating of 5 is adapted to the place, it's not revolutionary cuisine but for a coffee it's excellent.

01/09/2024: Small, friendly restaurant on a square that is much less stuffy than the restaurants on the large main square.
The service is pleasant, the menu is simple, but offers most of the possibilities.
The nectarine salad is excellent. Even if for my taste there is a little too much green salad.
The prices are correct. The glacier lacks a little flavor outside of the fundamentals.

Lovely friendly evening with friends with gourmet cuisine, great service by Mylène Farmer (a hint of Lady Gaga for the wink). Message to all the people of “Cucina di Luigi”: We will come back!!! 19/10/2025: Despite booking by phone, we were not informed that only one platter of cold meats was available to choose from (and also oysters), a really average platter...for €12, it seems that this was due to the large crowds of the day compared to the medieval festival...
16/08/2025: A very warm welcome.
My charcuterie board is high-quality, with good produce.
The menu offers local products, specifying their origins.
The local beer (Agora) is a must-try.

14/09/2024: We have come several times over the last few years and have never been disappointed; which was not the case last summer: my husband had read for his dish “…fondant potato…” he had to look it up! And ended up finding a mini potato slice hidden under “half mini vegetables”!
It's becoming unbearable for this kind of restaurant that presents mini portions on large plates!
Damage !
05/09/2024: In a beautifully landscaped heritage setting, we had a great gastronomic time. We tasted the menu for €54. The price is justified by the quality and accuracy (seasoning and cooking)

01/09/2024: N’hésitez surtout pas à vous rendre à cette adresse, vous ne serez pas déçu !
Nous avons été très agréablement surpris non seulement par l’originalité des plats mais par leur fraîcheur, leur présentation et les cuissons parfaites.
Un pur régal des papilles ! Et le cadre et surtout la gentillesse du personnel nous ont permis de passer un excellent moment en famille avec notre fils. Un merveilleux souvenir de nos vacances. Merci !
PS : merci pour le conseil de goûter l’entrée avec les tomates et la fêta …on s’est régalé !
