chon, the sea ones are too salty. It seems that you have to wait until December to taste the best at sea. Will I come back? Maybe...

Breathtaking view of the Basin with its numerous boats and Pinasses... Very warm welcome!🤩Family atmosphere and delicious oysters that we don't leave behind, accompanied by Shrimp, Landais paste, whelks...All washed down with a good chilled white wine! What happiness!! 🥰We are “Chai Nous”...😄😉🥰

29/09/2024: The terrace, which is also covered, is special in that it is located on the promenade pier. And therefore crossing between the 1st and 2nd row of tables by pedestrians, and even cyclists. These have all dismounted, phew! Let's talk about the view. In the foreground, the oyster beds and the oyster farmers (who work, you can see, even at lunchtime). In the background, the basin, Le Pyla and its famous dune. Suffice it to say, a very nice situation. Menu or card. The grilled octopus and gravlax salmon has the proportions of a starter, nothing more. Otherwise it's fine, no complaints there. Very nice sole dish, prepared in front of me at the suggestion of the waitress. Furthermore talkative and very friendly. The entire staff is young and has an enthusiasm that is a pleasure to see. Half a bottle of Pessac-Léognan, appreciable. Quality restaurant. Cape Town Rates!

We had a wonderful time at Les Vedettes du Bassin on October 12th, with a group of 25 people and one child. The private terrace was perfect for our gathering: spacious, friendly, and with a breathtaking view of the Arcachon Bay. The oysters were exceptionally fresh, the shrimp delicious, and the service warm and attentive. An authentic place where you feel good from the very first moment. Thank you to the entire team for this wonderful experience!

15/06/2025: Very friendly welcome regarding the pizza, even if there was precision about the thin crust, the topping and the taste are still subjective. It may not have been to our taste but it was worth trying.

we had the ceviche as a starter which was quite good, however the plancha knives were full of sand... we reported it and offered to make it again but to have new sand knives what's the point... It would be better to suggest something else instead, but let’s move on.
the service was extremely long despite the fact that we were rushed to take the order on arrival, 30 minutes of waiting for the dish which was not terrible once the starter was cleared, we had to ask again for the dessert menu because we had been waiting for 20 minutes, we also saw the difference in treatment with the nearby tables who were taking bottles of wine...
despite the sand and the wait, not even 1 coffee offered even though we had desserts and digestives.
In short, too expensive for the cuisine and the service, we wanted to treat ourselves and we are very disappointed.
20/09/2024: A must-see in Cap Ferret, with reservation recommended. Quality dishes, generous portions, but fairly high prices (around €100 for a glass of wine / a starter and a main course for two). Pleasant and fast service despite a slight wait. Delicious cuisine and warm welcome: a superb address to discover!
