Everything was perfect, from the kindness of the owner and his team to the quality and quantity of the food. We had a wonderful time at this establishment!! Don't change a thing, thank you again 🙏.

07/07/2026: Simple, but perfect. No other way to really describe this restaurant that serves oysters and a few other seafood odds and ends in a cozy backyard setting. The surroundings are beautiful, the oysters are fresh and delicious, and the wine really hits the spot. Couldn’t recommend it more! Loved it so much, I’d basically move in and live there if I could. Grab a bike and head over!

The owner is incredibly friendly, as are the servers, despite a bit of a wait (but the job requires training, which is understandable!). The location is perfect, opposite the oyster huts, and the menu is varied and caters to everyone, including children and vegetarians.
19/07/2026: The Arkeseon is an establishment located in the charming village of Lège-Cap-Ferret.
The staff is welcoming, always available, and very professional. This creates a truly pleasant atmosphere and makes it easy to decide to return to this French restaurant, whether you choose to pay for tobacco or simply relax in its lovely bar area.

Excellent service!
The staff was very attentive! The waitresses were very friendly and took careful note of our requests (vegetable penne with LOTS of vegetables 😉), and the pavlova without caramel sauce.
Everything was perfect!
Don't change a thing!

But the real problem is the absolutely appalling staff. Extremely unpleasant, almost malicious. Avoid at all costs, unless you want to be treated with utter contempt.

12/07/2026: We had dinner at the Hotel de la Plage restaurant in the evening. Absolutely no complaints; the service was impeccable, with a dynamic, friendly, and attentive team. The dishes were refined and delicious. Definitely worth a try!
11/07/2026: Very good restaurant! Very well located, pleasant atmosphere, but a bit busy for the area (it's the only restaurant there), and the locals eat there, which adds to its charm.
Excellent welcome and service! The ribeye steak was good but very well-done on the outside and not cooked to our liking on the inside, and the charcuterie board wasn't very varied and was very salty. The children's menu isn't really suitable.
We recommend it!
