23/09/2024: A small cozy nice restaurant. We haven't had such excellent food in a long time. Really extraordinarily good, exactly our taste, bravo.
22/09/2024: It was a recommendation of a sales person at Dopff au Moulin, and we were happy that we listened to it!
Perfect and very happy service. Very nice food, good portions and very fairly priced! The couch that we sat in was quite comfortable, and overall a very joyous experience!

05/12/2025: We waited outside for over half an hour because the entrance is a staircase leading to the basement. We could understand that given the time of year. What was intolerable was the waiter's behavior: blond, young, and utterly rude.
When we asked him why we had to share a table with four other people, something we wouldn't have minded, he started speaking rudely to us, took our cutlery, kicked us out of the restaurant, and let the next customers in as if nothing had happened, after all the waiting. He even made obscene gestures while I was holding my baby. It was absolutely shameful.
This individual shouldn't be working in customer service: disgraceful, aggressive, and completely disrespectful.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT, ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE WITH CHILDREN.

15/12/2024: Great restaurant with a really nice and cool owner who loved it. The restaurant was full but as promised she put us on the drop-off table (to place dishes or decorations) for us it was the best table and a manager with who had a good laugh the super nice waitress also a really top sauerkraut for me and my husband had a pierrade it was a treat also a restaurant that I recommend we know we will definitely go back there

10/12/2024: During the Christmas market we ate in this restaurant. The welcome is good and the staff friendly. The meal went well, we had a wine pie and a veal head, both were good.

10/01/2025: Family lunch (5 adults + 2 young children) Christmas week; very friendly welcome, excellent green sauerkraut and good desserts (glazed kouglof with marc), washed down with a good Riesling from a local producer 👍 (winemaker Engel who is worth a visit, tasting... and purchase 😉).
In short, a great address in Riquewihr that we recommend!

11/11/2025: I was attracted by the display with all the biscuits that seemed really good. Also I wanted to try the traditional bredeles which seems to be a speciality in the region. The staff was a bit unbothered and was not very professional. While we ordered, the Lady behind the counter stopped listening and started talking to her colleagues and then asked us to repeat again. She proceeded to do the same thing when we were paying. Other than that, the biscuits were good though nothing really special. It's a bit expensive for the quality and service in my opinion.
05/11/2025: They're delicious! I tried one at the store and wasn't sure if the ones in the box would be the same. Well, they are!

30/08/2024: Horrible place to eat. Had horrible service and the older larger lady that works there is mean!!!! Don’t eat there!!!! And I made sure to take a picture of the correct restaurant as the owner will not admit it was here!

Cibo buono e personale cordiale.
Prezzi elevati, ma nella media della zona ad eccezione dell'acqua: 6,8€ per una bottiglia mi sembra veramente eccessivo.

16/12/2024: The location looks beautiful, we’re really looking forward to have a nice lunch here unfortunately we couldn’t , we step in the restaurant we saw 3 empty tables so we were feeling lucky ( 12:15 ) , as soon as we step in one of the waiter ( young guy with dark hair ) didn’t even say hi or anything he just said we full see you later. I believe the manager should train him how to be more polite with he’s customers.
I do work in the same industry.
15/12/2024: Joli winstub alsacien avec un accueil sympathique et un personnel très agréable. Nous avons bien mangé: choucroute et burger alsacien top et les profiteroles un délice! Nous avons passé un super moment. Nous reviendrons!

23/09/2024: Think one of the best restaurants in Riquewihr. The dishes were top notch. The atmosphere is very friendly. We were one of the first and thought: "oh, not many people, what will that be?" But the place will be completely full for 30 minutes. Justifiably! Laundry was great.

18/09/2024: We sat down and waited about ten minutes for the server. Not seeing him arrive, I went to the counter to ask him if I could leave my order with him or if he would come to the table to pick it up and all that kindly and politely. His feedback was very prompt, “I have other customers to serve!” All this without having raised your head and in a relatively dry tone. Seeing his reaction, we left and were greeted further down very kindly.
10/09/2024: Very busy restaurant with very friendly staff. Tarte flambée was good, as usual in the area there are hardly any vegetarian dishes on the menu. Bacon or similar can easily be left out upon request. Dogs are welcome and are given some water without asking. Recommendation!

10/12/2024: Fast and efficient service during the Christmas market period! We were accepted with a stroller without reservation in the middle of the lunch rush.
The cooked dishes are good and the staff are pleasant and smiling!
