18/07/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant on Monday, July 13th, the day of the Chinaillon festival. We were very disappointed by the manager's cold welcome and the meal itself. It was mass-produced food, like the Reblochon cheese fritters, which were really bad. It's a tourist trap; we strongly advise against going there. It's also very expensive.
18/07/2026: Excellent place, I highly recommend it. Homemade desserts, basil picked on site, friendly service, the food is excellent.

02/04/2026: We've been coming here since 2018... and well, we won't be going back!
We had some disgusting sausages and lasagna...
The cashier was unfriendly; when we asked him if he had pepper, he was the only one who got the second star for service. The waitress was smiling (lucky for the owner!). I think they're definitely not the same as they used to be. We didn't even want to have coffee after lunch.

14/07/2026: We get takeaway pizzas and they're good. But please specify how you like your pizza cooked; sometimes the egg isn't cooked properly.

18/02/2026: This place has become just another ordinary spot. We used to know it was much better, and during school holidays, they didn't even serve waffles at 4 pm, and that seemed perfectly normal... As a former bartender, I always managed to help customers out.
What a shame.

But only the setting.
For the rest, the food selection is very limited, the service is cold, and they charge you directly.
What a shame. Such a shame. Instead of making Les Deux Guides a hotspot for nightlife in Le Grand-Bornand... it's a very, very ordinary place!

02/09/2024: Parfaitement bien situé. L’établissement possède des chambres, un restaurant, une brasserie /pizzeria. Une belle terrasse. Le personnel est accueillant. Le service se fait à votre rythme. La carte est donc fournie et vous y trouverez votre bonheur. Les pizzas sont excellentes et en quantité. Les prix sont raisonnables. Je recommande.

Superb terrace
A team offering exceptionally friendly and efficient service! Well done to them!
I don't like easy criticisms, so I'll just say that the food is home-style, perfect for a ski break.
Have a great end to the season and highly recommended for its ski-in/ski-out location.
16/02/2025: The manager was extremely unpleasant and rude. She flatly refused our simplest requests (like adding an egg to our dish), was unable to offer any advice, and, worst of all, yelled at us in front of all the other customers because one of the children with us, a one-year-old, had spilled crumbs under his high chair! Appalling… You should be ashamed of your unprofessional, unprofessional, and aggressive behavior… Luckily, the young waitresses were nice to make up for it :)

23/08/2024: En journée pour un goûter ou en soirée pour dîner dans un lieu chaleureux, nous aimons vraiment ce restaurant. Cette année, nous ferons 3h de détour pour aller y manger comme nous le faisons presque tous les ans depuis 2019.

L'endroit est agréable et reposant. Les chaises longues sont nombreuses et confortables.

14/09/2024: Déjeuner en famille dans cette petite ferme, dotée d’une vue magnifique depuis la terrasse ensoleillée.
Les beignets de pomme-de-terre sont EXCELLENT !
Des serveuses souriantes et au petit soin. Le rapport qualité/prix est parfait !
